The sandwiches you get here are like the lovechildren of Da Vinci, Beethoven, Monet, and Heart Disease. It's going to kill me, I know...yet I can look away from that fact and just order more and more and more. The last sandwich was a spicy sloppy joe...except instead of a bun, each side of the sloppy joe was comprised of an individual grilled cheese sandwich...filed with cheese...and...macaroni and cheese. It weighed at least 2 pounds...I washed it all down with a BBQ chicken, onion ring, and granny smith apple hot sub...I want to die right now. And eat just another couple of bites. One important note - they have moved. Sandwich Masters is still off of 202 but now its by the Dunkin Donuts on Commerical Lane. Hitting the directions on Yelp got us to the right spot but the address listed is wrong. We hit this place on our way up to hiking Mt. Monadock. What a great find! What I liked is that the meat is not your traditional sliced deli meat. If you order a turkey sandwich, it is chunks of real turkey. Same with the pulled pork and ham. Everything was amazing. I will plan on stopping here again next time I am on my way north. read more

My boyfriend and I had gone to go get some sandwiches because we were local and he had raved about this place being amazing because he had been here before. The sandwiches were as good as he had raved about. However, if I wasn't so hungry I would've lost my appetite because of the amount of time to take care of less than 10 customers. The amount of time it took for us to get our food we would've been halfway through a movie. They weren't getting a lot of calls either. My boyfriend and I have family who own restaurants/we have worked in their restaurants so we know a thing or two about this business. It was a lot but also not enough overall. What just happened to my body? I ordered a HALF sandwich, the Sloppy Mac, and out comes a behemoth, a good pound of food, with well cooked Mac and cheese (tasted homemade) and really tasty sloppy joe meat - I ordered it spicy, tangy might be a better word, but still good. The bread held up nice sky to the sauce, not too soggy, though I still ate it with a fork and knife. Not sure how I was supposed to bring that to my mouth. o.O I finished my meal with a homemade boston cream pie: dense, and not too sweet. So good! On top of all that, the staff was super helpful, and extremely nice. I made a mess and they were right on top of it! (I ALMOST caught the bottle before it hit the floor.) As a bonus, they actually have decent wifi too. he only thing that would have made me happier is some cane sugar soda (though the "Joe's" brand of teas and lemonades is made with cane sugar.) Holy smokes!!! This place is absolutely awesome, crazy, outlandish... the adjectives go on and on. I did not know that sandwich combos like what they serve there even existed! The menu is an adventure in itself. Look at the menu, look at the names of the combos... be brave and go with it. I tried the "dumpster"... basically everything they have in house, piled on... what a feast! I would challenge anyone to eat that in one sitting. Prices are good, the place is clean. Be advised, there will be times when the service is slow. It is worth the wait however. The big thing is every timeI have gone, the owner was there. Hands on and one happy guy. The big thing for me is that the food and "fixens" are fresh. Not like the frozen pre-made products of places near by. Give it a go, bring your imagination and a hearty appetite. Definitely my favorite off the beaten path independent sandwich establishment. I feel bad giving it four stars because the first time I was there it was a spectacular experience with the Sloppy Mac Crazy sandwich with spicy sloppy Joe. This time I got the 'Sandwich Master Comfort' with pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and onion rings. It was fantastic only problem was all the ingredients were Luke warm not HOT, which I expect in a sandwich like this. The owner is super friendly and always accommodating. I will continue to go here and try something new as long as they are open to try something new every time. Expect to wait 5+ minutes or more as most sandwiches take time to construct and it's busy every time I have been there. TRY THIS PLACE IT ROCKS! One suggestion for the owner if you read this, get outdoor seating, it can get very warm inside. read more

Went there months ago a little over an hour before close. After waiting about ten minutes of being ignored by the staff to take our order, we left. The staff was too busy talking amongst themselves even though they saw us standing there. Then tried it a couple weeks ago again. The stuffing in my sandwich was ice cold and we didn't get the side of ranch we ordered or the ketchup on my boyfriends hamburger. When my boyfriend asked for the ranch and ketchup, the girl brought the ranch and no ketchup. When he asked about the ketchup she kept walking and said it's in the cooler. I messaged on Facebook for the general manager or owner to reach out to me as this is not ok, the person asked when it happened and then never responded again. I'm big on customer service and they obviously don't have a clue. Very unfortunate. read more

This place is absolutely awesome, definitely not your typical sandwich shop, it is so much more. Earl knows how to make a sandwich and it is a meal! So many unique combinations there is something for everyone, and if you just can't decide then go with the Rueben it is always a winner! The caramelization on the corn beef and just the right amount of sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing on rye bread and it is huge, usually can't eat the whole thing in one sitting. read more

This was a place we were recommended to try. The menu is crazy unique (with one called the Dumpster). Unfortunately, possibly understaffed and not organized. We were given a wait time for 30-40 minutes for a club and chicken salad, with about 8 tickets up in front of us this seemed a bit much. We had time to kill, but while waiting 10-12 people have left bc of the wait (with I expect an average of $10-15 ticket) that's some lost cash turned away in 30 minutes. Too bad. Stopped in here on a whim on 2/12/2016- what a great idea that was! The setting is simple but clean, and the menu is a little overwhelming, but that's not a bad thing. There were several other customers ordering and eating. Picked up two of their "Sandwiches Gone Mad" - the turkey Focaccia Club and the Western Pulled Pork. The wait was a few minutes (everything is made to order), but there were plenty of tables to sit at. Got served at the table with plenty of napkins. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. We had high hopes for this place based on the Yelp and Facebook reviews. We ordered two sandwiches - the Reuben and the Pilgrim (based on Emily M's picture). The Reuben was great except the bread was so burned, my husband couldn't eat it. It was charboiled black! The meat was very juicy. We were given different bread options. It was served hot. The Pilgrim was made with deli turkey and Stove Top stuffing. It looked nothing like Emily M's picture. It was disgusting. I took 3 bites and gave up because it wasn't worth ingesting calories for it. The woman taking the order did not give the bread options listed on the menu when ordering. It was served lukewarm. The onion rings were disgusting as well. Frozen Mrs. Paul's. Didn't eat either as not worth the calories. Served lukewarm. They had 3 big screens that were turned off. We assume that the menu would normally be displayed. Instead you had to share the 1 copy of the paper menu they had with the woman taking orders. I am not sure if this was just an off day or if they are growing too fast to keep up with the demand. Take-out and table service were extremely busy while we were there. My comrades and I had a sublime experience at Sandwich Master Plus. Few spectacles in life are as satisfying as the calorie-packed, splendidly applied sauce, and buttered buns of a trademark sandwich, and this local restaurant went well above our expectations in fulfilling our carbohydrate and fat needs. When I first payed $10.79 for 2 artisan buns--even though I already have 2 artisan buns--I was, admittedly, skeptical. Though the ingredients may or may not have been the zodiac killer of my health, I would highly recommend this restaurant. More awe-inspiring than that random mountain near it. My life has been transformed at the hands of THE Earl Marshall (whom we had the pleasure of witnessing in his kitchen, what a homie, give this man a Nobel Prize). I am forever grateful. Seriously, take my first born Earl, how shall I ever repay you? Initially told by a group of locals that this restaurant serves "greasy" food, we had doubts of what unique qualities would unfold themselves. But alas, Mr. Marshall shattered our suburban minds with his masterful sandwiches. I'll be damned if I ever experience such mouth watering feats of humanity in my lifetime again. I hope to bring my children and grandchildren here someday. Nevertheless, you may have noticed that I gave Sandwich Master Plus 4 stars, and this is why: their logo fails to include "Plus" in the title. Earl dearest, whatchuthinkinbruh??? Also, please print your menus on a laser jet printer, the design looks like it was passed through a blender when being printed. Doesn't a place as high caliber as Sandwich Master Plus deserve more?? Found this place on yelp. Was during a visit to my sister who lives nearby. It was a bit hard to find with google maps but what a find when we did make it. I had read good reviews but this place makes the best Rueben sandwich I have ever tasted and I eat them often. I told my sister about the sandwiches. She lives just 5 miles away but had never been there. After she tasted when she greed these were the best sandwiches she's ever had. read more
