Another trip, and another amazing experience in the books!! This second time around, we took our entire family of five for an early Mother's Day Dinner (around 4:30pm). We were promptly seated and greeted in one of their more open areas of the restaurant. The room was packed with TV's (perfect for me as Game 7 of Celtics / 76ers was on!). I cannot stress enough how good their Marinated Steak Tips were. Absolutely out of this world. The in house marinade was ridiculous, and the tips themselves were perfectly cooked - super tender with a nice light char on the outside. As I'm writing this I seriously want to head over there and get more. They are 2 for 2 with me as far as spot on service, quality and atmosphere. If you haven't checked this place out yet, I wouldn't hesitate!! A great spot

Under new ownership, the Sudbury Point Grill took over the former Conrad's Restaurant in Sudbury. They are the same owners of Franco's Trattoria. At the time of this posting, the Sudbury Point Grill was still offering the Conrad's menu in addition to their smaller developing specials menu. Their official menu is now on their website. The place still looks the same as before with the spacious dining areas with booths and tables and the bar area with seating at the bar, high top tables, and a long table with high seating across from the bar. Some booths have their own small flatscreen TV. There is also outdoor patio seating too. I stopped in for a later dinner on the second night of business and the place was busy in the bar area with plenty of open tables in the adjacent dining areas. I was seated in a booth and given both Conrad's and Point Grill menus. Since I've eaten at Conrad's already, I decided to choose from the pricier Point Grill menu for the purpose of this posting, which had very limited food selections compared to the bigger Conrad's menu. They were still building their own menu, which will have some of the favorites from the Conrad's menu. I started out with an ice water and the PEI Mussels ($14.99 plus tax) which was served very hot in a big bowl, 2 dozen steamed mussels with onions, cherry tomatoes, garlic, scallions, in a tomato white wine sauce, very good and filling. For dinner, the Chicken Fajitas ($16.99 plus tax) came out on a sizzling iron skillet with strips of grilled chicken, seasonings, peppers, and onions, plus rice pilaf, sour cream, guacamole, pico de Gallo, lettuce, 3 warm soft corn tortillas on the side. I took my time to enjoy this good sized meal. When I was done, I passed on the dessert (Conrads dessert menu) and got the check which was $34.11 with tax and before tip. The service was acceptable and prompt. The waiter brought the mussels first and then the fajitas with the fixings afterwards. He checked on me a few times and cleared the used plates and shells away. I will keep an eye out as the Sudbury Point Grill menu evolves with more choices incorporating items from the Conrad's menu and Franco's Trattoria menu.

    Too Salty cold cut turkey.

Came here for lunch and sat at the bar. This is the second time I've been here and the service is always great. Food is not as successful. Last time I had the fried calamari which was decent, but I asked for no peppers and it came out with peppers anyway. This time I had the turkey club with potato salad as a side. The potato salad was much better than expected- not wet and soupy. The turkey club was disappointing. I asked for no cheese (which the kitchen obliged) and no mayo. The tomatoes were nice considering this time of year. But the turkey was what I would consider as sub par cold cut quality. Very salty. See photo. I would not order it next time. The menu is large so I'm sure I will find other better items. I'll be back for the service, vibe and hours.

Not worth it. Food is blah and does not come out as the menu states. They really need to step up food and service.

Today I gave it a try and felt that it was good in some areas and just ok in others. Overall the food tasted pretty healthy despite having pork belly and chorizo. The seasoning was definitely on the lighter side, where the french onion soup was tasting pretty close to an extremely light broth. Tried the cassoulet which I've heard of before but never seen on a menu. It was very hearty but also a but bland. Pulled pork and pork belly seemed to have zero salt. Duck leg confit also very bland. It was cooked well but just bland. The dishes with citrus were quite tasty. Beets and arugala salad very good, good quality goat cheese. Alligator chorizo grilled oysters surprisingly good. Never had alligator chorizo before but it was crispy and not fatty even though it resembled bacon visually. The oysters were small, even more small in comparison to the chorizo but it was a good bite. I would recommend skipping the clam chowder, french onion soup (not really caramelized onions to be honest), and the cassoulet unless you feel empowered to salt your own food. The clientele was definitely in the 60+ range. Nothing wrong with that obviously but tastes change with age and maybe thats why the seasoning was so light. Today there were just two wait staff for the whole place. Seemed understaffed and it took almost thirty minutes for food to come out. Waiting for the check took about fifteen minutes. Staff was nice but definitely overloaded. Today was a holiday though.

Uncommonly kind and friendly service! Great burgers, drinks, and atmosphere on the outdoor patio.read more

The place itself was clean, neat, and not very large. We ordered the regular eggs Benedict (around $21) and the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict (around $30). Between the two, I definitely preferred the chicken and waffle Benedict. It was more savory, whereas the regular eggs Benedict also savory but came with a red sauce that was surprisingly sweet when I was expecting something more traditional and savory. Overall, I would come here for a special occasion, as the price point feels a bit high for what you get. You can definitely find a similar eggs Benedict elsewhere for cheaper. That said, I do recommend trying the green hot sauce they have. I thought it paired really well and tasted better with the dish.

The ambiance was also great for a date night. Cozy, intimate, and warm. The menu has some great touches that you don't see everywhere; we particularly appreciated the selection of half-bottles of wine, which was perfect for pairing. We started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. We also tried the crab cake--while the texture was a little soft, it was very flavorful and seasoned well. For the main course: * The Filet Mignon: Cooked to absolute perfection. * The Crab-Crusted Haddock: My husband greatly enjoyed this dish; it was a real standout. If you're looking for a high-quality meal with top-tier service in the area, I highly recommend stopping here. We will definitely be back!

Coach Grill is a fun place for a casual or nice night out…read more Ambiance/Atmosphere: busy, social, and LOUD! Not for intimate dinners. The place is busy and happening. Dark wood, old school vibe. Waiters in classic attire. Nice closed off entry way to avoid massive drafts and precipitation if the weather is bad. Somewhat tight seating between tables. Website recommends dressy casual or business casual, discourages t-shirts, but quite a few folks not following the dress codes. Not so stuffy they'd make you wear a sports coat they have on hand. Service: Fair - not good or great though not awful. Attentive server we had, knowledgable, relatable. Often long periods between seeing her during a prime time dinner reservation. Not a lot of assistants coming by, mostly people delivering food or fill water, didn't have much capacity or scope to help otherwise except to see if they could find our server. Food: Some big hits and some very decent misses. French onion soup a hit. Standard solid execution. Oysters were shucked okay. A little bit more broken shell than I'd like at that price, but more importantly often dry and without the brine. A couple were annihilated in the shucking. Caesar salad was dry without any dressing in sight, didn't have much flavor except for the anchovies which were way too potent without dressing. Crab crusted haddock was a big hit. Delicious. Filet was good. Beef Wellington very good. Perfect beef, very flaky pastry, sauce was excellent -- not over or under seasoned - and juicy mushroom caps. Salmon was fine. Creamed spinach we ordered they ran out of and we didn't get notified until right before entrees came out. Bummer. Mashed potatoes were sad -- tasted like they were powdered from a box. Very little butter, under-seasoned, watery. Didn't finish half of it. Drink: Decent wine list. Not as extensive as I was expecting given their awards. Prices were often pretty high. 6oz and 9oz pours for some inexpensive by the glass wines was shocking. Some good deals to be had in the Portugal/Italian sections. Price: High for the value, food, and service. Really wanted to give the place 4 stars but the constellation of missteps, disappointments, and price for the experience... just couldn't do it!
