We ordered two to go and when we got home, we snacked on them; excellent rolls with just the right amount of sugar glaze. If we ever visit the Monadnock area again, we will certainly visit the Monadnock Country Cafe. read more

$8 for a breakfast bagel and the ham was the "literal" size of a silver dollar, it barely covered the hole in the middle of the bagel.....I was to far away to go back, and I won't be back again..... read more

Went today for breakfast. Service slow. Food luke warm to cold. Prices all kinds of up charges for type of cheese and the bread. They up charge you then only give you one slice cut in half. The omelet was like a starving omelet. Not much to it. If I am gonna pay over 80 dollars including tip for 4 people to have breakfast it better be spectacular. A lot has changed in two years. My girlfriend and I have been getting breakfast from Country Cafe recently and have had nothing but great experiences with them. From the moment you walk in the door to when you leave, nothing but smiles. The small town ambiance makes you feel at home. Lovely ladies and food! 5 Stars. read more

There's a sign that says they are short-staffed. I can't be the judge of what that means but there were quite a few working on Saturday morning, perhaps they meant in the kitchen? The service needs a lot of work. There are no explanations on the menu so you don't know what half the items are and when I asked, the kid had no idea. You'll also need to ask for refills but at least they were fairly pleasant. In this case, please still tip them. That said, the food was pretty good. The hot mama Benedict was a spicy hollandaise with ham. The potatoes were pretty good too. The rest of the menu also looks really good, just wish there were short explanations of each item. They did charge for two maple syrups when we didn't ask for two, but i just took them home, so that's ok too. Would i go back? That's a big maybe, but I would still recommend it. read more

I've been going to the Country Cafe since I was young and have always been a fan. Recently I've been getting their steak bomb omelet to go and they kill it every single time. Literally Every. Single. Time. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful which is a plus. And the ambiance gives small town cozy! Great cafe with great food! Would recommend :) read more

bethanne is one of the worst bosses, never answered texts doesn't have a schedule for the workers, very rude and lazy does nothing but eats and sits on her phone. food is good thanks to the cooks but management is terrible and pays 12 bucks an hour even to people who aren't waitresses. read more

Wow. Apparently horrible customer service. Couldn't even be bothered to respond after reading messages asking for a menu. Was going to order takeout but couldn't find a menu or website to look at it. I would review the food but they couldn't be bothered to offer up a menu. read more

I was very excited that we found our new go to diner but the prices were way too high. I ordered the doubl double which was two eggs and a generous portion of corned beef hash both items were very good but to my dismay was charged $3.00 for homefries and another .50 for onions. The toast was $3.00 and because I got cinnamon raisin another .50. My husband got eggs and ham and was charged $5.00 for a small portion of ham. He also got homefries with onions at $3.50. Is 2 scrambled eggs and toast was $6.25. So needless to say our $15 breakfast was $30.00. Service was very good but will not be back because of all the up charges. Kim B. read more

Went back today for late breakfast, and lunch, with the family and was very impressed. The eggs Irish were delicious, my wife had the chicken quesadilla, my daughter had their version of the All-American Burger. We also shared some homemade desserts; small Boston creme cakes and chocolate chip cookie chocolate pudding. We were able to eat inside today, alternating tables and spots at the counter to keep socially distanced, and an immaculately clean restaurant. More homemade dishes are on the menu and daily specials are being run. Really top notch! read more

Enjoyed breakfast at this cozy, comfortable and safe cafe. Had 1 Large banana walnut pancake the size of a plate with REAL syrup in a booth offering a safe distance. The sign "sanitized" also greeted us. Definitely had that country feel. If you're in the neighborhood check it out. Oh and a lady told us to stop by the Threads Of Hope thrift store next door to get a deal on items as low as $1! read more

Amazing food and the owner is a sweet heart if you want a mom and pop experience I defiantly recommend

For years we had gone to the Jaffrey Country Cafe and loved it. Once it reopened as the Monadnock Country Cafe we were very excited to go back. Things were not the same. I can not tell you how the food was because we waited over an hour for our food and then we just told the owner how we felt and we walked out and have never gone back. This was about a month after they opened and I hope they have figured out how to get food out in a timely matter by now. read more
