We've used Sandy Paws for a number of years, and are very pleased. She's been great with our four shiatzu's.

I am new to the area and gave this place a try- my husky had become caked in his own fur and desert dust and honestly looked awful. Sandra is so nice! So, so incredibly nice! She talked me through a couple of problems with his coat and how we could take better care of it in the future, and committed to basically spending about 5 hours to carefully get him all cleaned up. Plus she has a husky herself so she's really knowledgeable AND won't just freak out or give up on your loudmouth pup haha, I say that because I've had a groomer do this in the past after 45 minutes. My gorgeous dog son came out looking SO SPARKLING AND BEAUTIFUL! I've never seen him looking so good! I'm not sure if he loved the experience haha, but I'm so excited to have found such a kind and knowledgeable and committed groomer out here who loves huskies! Sandy thank you so much. Took out little rescued Pomeranian Jack in today. He was in big need of a groom. Sandy did an excellent job cleaning him up and recommending the right cut for his coat. I didn't meet her but it sounds like her and Jack got along well. He looks so much better but more importantly he feels better. You can tell in his temperament. Thank you Sandy... we will be back. When I first called for my Labradoodle she said she wasn't taking any big dogs so I told her that he's not big he's medium and she reluctantly agreed. I wish she hadn't because it was horrible. When I picked him up and he jumped in the truck he started bleeding all over the place. She cut the quick on 2 of his toes but never told me; she also cut him in 4 other places. I have a fearful, blind chihuahua. I bathe her myself because she gets scared when she doesn't know where she is. Her nails get long fast because she doesn't run around on rough surfaces. She spends most of her time on the couch. I'm afraid to try to do her nails! I can't even get ear drops in her ears because she squirms so much. I take her to Sandy Paws and the owner somehow single-handedly trims her nails! She's only been to one other shop and it took one person to hold her and another to trim and they didn't do as nice a job as Sandy Paws does. AND the trim happens super fast and at a ridiculously reasonable price. read more
