The beautiful color drenched cliffs, the roaring waves crashing effortlessly against the rocks, and the powdery soft sand caressing my feet made for the ultimate relaxing experience in nature. It was almost surreal. There's a destinated parking lot down the road so anyone with mobility issues may find it hard to access. There were no bathrooms, food, or beverages available unless you make the trek back up to Aquinnah cliffs (15 min walk uphill). There's supposedly a section that's designated as a nudist beach but I didn't see it. Moshup is a bare bones but stunningly beautiful beach, a must see while on Martha's Vineyard!

It is a favorite amongst nude sunbathers so stick to the crowds if you're bringing the kids along. Parking is difficult after 11am and requires a beach sticker (or take a chance with a ticket). Two portable toilets are usually clean (as clean as a porta-toilet by the beach can be), but there are no changing facilities at this beach.

The grounds are beautiful, the people were friendly and accepting of a newcomer. It's a nice place to undress completely and just become one with nature while enjoying natural freedom. The sauna was fired up, which added greatly to the whole day. If you are a naturist, you should check it out. Get comfy and become part of a community that accepts the freedom of clothes-free living. I may even join next year so I can enjoy life in a natural and comfortable way, relaxing the way I prefer, without judgement. Highly recommend anyone interested in naturism to go to Dyer Woods, step out of your clothes and into a liberating day of relaxation.

The trails and scenery are beautiful and going nude just made it that much more special. I volunteered with the Fall clean up and met more wonderful people. Returned this year (2025) a couple times. Enjoy the Fall time during the week. On my 10/7/2025 visit, the nice woman that checked me in said the sauna was open. I hadn't visited that yet. Went hiking the trails, sat in a lounge chair by the pool pond and read a few chapters of a new book, then decided to try out the sauna. So glad I did. After that took one more hike. I really enjoy Dyer Woods and will be coming back again and again.

The location is beautiful, and there is so much to do in the area and beyond (and I'm not kidding). The room we had was perfect, enough to fit everyone. We needed a blow-up bed, which the staff cared for without issue. Setting it up took up some space, but thankfully, it is nothing to complain about. The bed we stayed in was comfy. The important thing was that the room was well-cleaned and organized, which we were thrilled about. The facility provides a lot of that, including an indoor restaurant called the Loft Restaurant and Bar and an outdoor one called the Loft Shack in the middle of the parking lot. They even host events, such as outdoor concerts. The website provides more info on that. There is even an indoor building that offers sports such as tennis and basketball and even an arcade room. The Cove provides an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Overall, we were very impressed with the Cove, with many memories to take in and cherish. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

We still enjoy the Cove…read more We have been three times now. It's an annual January tradition amongst the friends. We are up to 5 rooms, 9 adults, 8 kids (4-13 years old.) It's cold in New England so we seek shelter and why not shelter with a pool and hot tub??!!! 1. Easy check-in process- The front desk staff were extremely nice (even though we did watch a set of mouthy kids causing trouble and the staff handled it very well.) 2. Clean- I have never had a cleanliness issue with the Cove. I can share the small living room tables are pretty beat up now but I did see posted proposed updates. 3. Water- Water for everyone! General pool, little kid wading pool and a hot tub (16+) 4. Rec Center- We took for the 4 year old for the arcade. We spent $20 and we were there for about an hour (but I have to admit my favorite game was out of order- the coin pushing off the edge game) The older kids kept coming and going from the rec center playing wallyball and games. 5. Large closet- The large closet plays well into our hand. We put an air mattress on the floor and he had his own little 'room'! It's large without a door and right next to the bed in the loft. Win! My only gripes: The kiddie pooled smelt of cat pee and sweat (I know little kids are gross) and the fitted sheets did not fit the bed, like no elasticity left. Shoutout to the Manager Vinton who set up our room block securing us rooms together and overlooking the pool again! Thanks Vinton! We will be back again!

Scarborough is a State Beach with lifeguards until 6 pm. The grandchildren over the years enjoy making sand castles, jumping the waves, and walking along the shoreline. The surf here is more gentle than nearby Narragansett Beach. Scarborough State Beach with its large pavilion and expanded beach area, with the nearby Scarborough South, offers a wide range of beach related activities. People of all ages can find activities of interest from sun bathing on Scarborough's sandy beach, and people watching on its boardwalk to picnicking under shaded shelters, and saltwater bathing in one of Rhode Island's most popular spots.

So, when we returned home, we sought to see if we could recapture some of what we had loved but, if you've been to Spain you know that's impossible. Same for us until we decided to try this restaurant. The moment we walked in we were transported. It was as if we had wandered into one of the places we had been to in Barcelona or Grenada or Seville. Not only were these tapas as good as those in Spain, they even had the beer I had learned to love in Spain included the beer, Estrella, that I had loved on our vacation and was unknown to any restaurant I had been to in the local area. This place was fabulous. If you have been to Spain, I'm guessing you'll think the same. And, if you're trying to decide where you want to go on your next vacation, hit this place. It's a great sample of the real thing.

First of all, there was a ready supply of parking, and no officials there to bother us for being out of state visitors. Secondly, the surf was more magnificent than my pictures can capture. Then there are the seals, which seem to be there at all times. Signs tell you to avoid them because there are also sharks in the area, and you may tragically be mistaken for a seal. On our second visit three years later, it was all as we had remembered. We'd forgotten the name of the beach, but got an accurate tip from the wine pourer at the nearby winery. Seals, surf and the good cheer of the sparse group of people on the beach. I hope we will have the chance to go for a third visit.

At the risk of sounding like a snob, the beach road doesn't have a sign for a reason. Do not take the car, bus, or bike here thinking you are just going to get in. I am not being an elitist. I'm just saying you will be wasting your time. Also, I'm sick of seeing reviewers on other sites trash this beach just because they rode their bike onto the ferry and expected to cycle across the Island to swim here. Don't be a dumbass and crash through the tick-infested hillside trying to sneak in, either. Park Rangers guard this beach, so if the ticks don't get you, they will. If you are fortunate enough to get your hands on a beach sticker, I highly recommend it. Aside from being flanked by the Vineyard's only nude shoreline, this beach is one-of-a-kind. Gorgeous clear water, waves that can get absolutely humongous, clay cliffs, and the long stretch of sparsely-populated sand that comes with the exclusivity of resident-only beach rights.

The beach had some nice sand and is long, but narrow which made it nice to visit. A sign to restrict boogie boards and there is no lifeguard on duty. Not much on amenities here. Port-a-potties only and the changing rooms were closed (not clear if they are closed for the season). No snack bar either. It's a beautiful area, but just to visit.

The beach area is so clean and never too crowded the times we have gone. Like previous reviews have mentioned, it really does matter when you go here--if it's during low or high tide. As I love to scour the beach for sea glass, low tide is best. During high tide, the sandy beach area does become a little smaller, but don't worry plenty of room to still put down your beach towel and/or umbrella. Starting Memorial Day weekend, they do start charging $25 per car. Or if you're on a bicycle/and or walking to the beach, then it's $15. Luckily, we went prior to Memorial Day, so entry was still free.
