Fried Tofu and Sesame Chicken, SO GOOD!
    Natty G.

I love Sangs! If you like real authentic Chinese food and a cozy environment- this place is for you. When you eat here, always expect the best chinese food. No frills, no fuss, no muss just great food served by traditional Chinese people working there. Food is always served fast and hot. Good service, served family style. We ordered the following * Fresh piping hot egg rolls * Fried tofu - so good! * Egg drop soup with crunchy noodles * Chinese broccoli - garlic drenched and mouthwatering * Peking chicken with white rice and delicous peking sauce on the side * Peking chicken with Peking sauce and white rice * Honey garlic chicken with pork fried rice. Honey garlic chicken is super crunchy, although being smothered in honey. I love this little old school gem and am definitely going back. Absolutely the best food for a rainy day, or any day.

Chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce with fried rice

This used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in South Florida. I haven't been there in ages, and it is under new management. The place looks cleaner, brighter, and more inviting. We had lunch there. We ordered chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce along with three dim sum items (steamed pork buns, shrimp shu mai, and bean curd skin). The eggplant had no flavor and did not soak up the garlic sauce. The lunch is served with a bowl of soup and the rice and meat are plopped on a plate. The dim sum was disappointing. The bean curd skin was overcooked; the meat in the buns tasted a bit stale. But the shrimp shu mai was good. For us, the food was mediocre and not as good as it was before.

Chinese food just hits the spot after a 18 hour plus workday. When it's close to your office and relatively comfortable (ie not just takeout) is even better! A friend who's from the area recommend Sang's and I finally decided to check it out one day after work. I must say, with the shades they had on the windows it looked to be always closed. I double checked with said friend, and stopped by after a marathonic workday. They have their own parking lot - score! I decided to stick to the classic - pork dumplings, General Cheng Chicken and sticky rice. The dumplings were a little past aldente (how I like them) and stuffed with more shredded pork than my usual neighborhood spot. They were also served with a mildly spicy sauce. My General Cheng (that sweet & spicy mainstay known by another spelling variation) had a nice mix of sweet and spicy, with ever a hint of smokiness. Nice! Decor is that of classic neighborhood Chinese spot including a cool dragon mural. My server was pretty pleasant and service timely. I would definitely reccomend!

This place is truly a gem. The service was incredible so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interactive. Everyone made us feel right at home, and the food came out very fast. We ordered the peppered steak, dumplings, chicken lo mein, spring rolls, sweet and sour soup, and wonton soup and every single dish was delicious. The portions were very generous, the flavors were bold, and everything tasted fresh and well made. Honestly, the food smelled so good that I barely remembered to take a photo until we were almost done eating. Even better, all of this came out to only about $50, which is an amazing value for the quality, quantity, and overall experience. You can tell they truly care about what they serve and the experience they give their guests. Definitely will be going back!

    Shredded Chicken Pan Fried Noodle

The shredded chicken pan fried noodle entree was yummy and enough to share. The outer noodles were crispy while the inner noodles held the sauce. Very nice people working.

Traditional Chinese restaurant. We came in for the dim sum brunch, a fun way to celebrate the Chinese new year. Service was efficient. Food came out fast. Flavorful. They never rushed us. Tea was nice. Ambiance as you might expect for a traditional spot. The best part of this spot was the variety. What needs improvement: bathroom cleanliness and smell. Free parking in the lot outside. It was a bit under construction during this visit. Hope they can fix that.

RATS!! And ROACHES!! They've been ordered shut many times. I use to eat here a lot and while the food is good, apparently the cleanliness IS NOT!! I can't believe I ever ate here. Service wise they are nice, but I can't look past this. Everyone deserves to know.

Use to my go to restaurant when I was living in Miami. Since my move away, this is my second time visited the restaurant. I feel their customer traffic go down. We were wondering it may be cause by old restaurant name. We pan fried noodles with meat and seafood. The egg noodles are fried. It to with sauce bbq meat, squid, shrimp, scallops, chicken and more. The sauce softens the fried noodles and makes this dish desirable. We also got salt and pepper fried lobster. The lobster is fresh and meaty. It was delicious. Overall the food taste is there. Service is still good. It still does have authentic Chinese cuisine.

They've added some more popular drinks like the Basic B**ch which is like a lychee martini, and the Upper East Side which were both very delicious. I had two of each! For the HH snacks, we got the shrimp and the pork dumplings and we all agreed the Shrimp Dumpling was the favorite. It's sauce was soy-based, while the pork had kind of a curry base. We really went for a Birthday reservation. So after happy hour at the bar we moved over to our table. And order more drinks and more good eats! I suggested the Edemame Hummus (again) [still amazing!]. But we also got the Octopus and Imperial Eggrolls. Side note - our server Natalia was really kind to our very active table of two checks and 8 people. She went over the menu, and she was so convincing we ordered everything that she talked about. She even asked if I wanted a drink and I didn't at first, but then she went on to talk about the Upper East Side, and I was sold. For the main entrees, we shared the Branzino which is market price, the Millionaire Rice, and the Bo Luc Lac (filet mignon). All were amazing. I'd ordered it all again. Will definitely be back.

The service was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and very prompt. At times it was almost too attentive, as the busser kept trying to clear our plates while we were still talking and eating at our own pace. The food, however, was absolutely outstanding. The Peking duck was amazing. I'm from Asia, so I've had Peking duck countless times, and Toku truly delivered. The duck was tender, the skin was perfectly crispy, and it wasn't gamey at all. Paired with the sauce, every bite was delicious. We also ordered the crispy rice, dumplings, and tuna pizza. Everything was excellent. The tuna pizza was a pleasant surprise--we weren't sure what to expect, but we're so glad we ordered it. To finish, we had the frozen banana dessert, and it was to die for. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

The ambiance is always beautiful, especially being located inside Aventura Mall, and the atmosphere is one of the reasons we wanted to return. When we first arrived, the service was attentive while taking our appetizer and sushi orders. However, after placing both our appetizers and entrées, the service noticeably slowed down. We started with the Otoro Nigiri, Shrimp Dumplings, and Lamb Spare Ribs, and they were all delicious, fresh, tender and flavorful. No complaints there at all. The issue came with one of our entrées. The Toku Ramen, Kung Pao Chicken, and Braised Short Ribs all arrived together, aside from my Shrimp Fried Rice. After waiting a few minutes, one server told us it was on its way, while another said it was just being plated. It ended up taking another 20-25 minutes before it finally arrived, making it seem like the order may not have been put in initially. It was disappointing because everyone else at the table had finished their meals before mine even arrived, so I just ended up getting a to-go box. After that, service continued to be slow, and it took quite a while to receive our check. I was especially disappointed because I had recommended Toku to my family based on my previous visit. Although the food continues to be excellent and full of flavor, the service this time unfortunately took away from what could have been another great dining experience.
