We decided to try Sang's Chinese Food after seeing a TikTok saying the food was really good. Since we live very close by, we were intrigued and decided to give it a try unfortunately, it was pretty disappointing. We ordered takeout: chow mein and orange chicken. The service was actually good and very fast, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, the food was another story. The orange chicken had a very strange/bad taste, and we honestly couldn't even eat it. The chow mein was also not what we expected and had a taste we didn't enjoy. It also had a LOT of vegetables, whereas we're used to chow mein mostly having cabbage, so I think that's something they could make clearer on the menu or let customers know. We ordered to go, so I can't really comment much on the dining experience or ambience. From what we saw, it seemed like a regular, casual Chinese restaurant. I really wanted to love this place, especially after seeing so many good things about it on TikTok, but unfortunately the food just wasn't for us. Still my favorite dim sum and Chinese restaurant in NMB. Affordable prices and good portions. Service is always good and fast plus FREE parking. This place is nothing fancy but it's clean featuring traditional Chinese design and it even has lazy Susan tables for big groups. Their dim sum selection is what keeps me coming back for more. Served in traditional bamboo pots and come out freshly steamed and good size. The servers have been working here for years if not decades. Staff know most of the patrons by name cause they've been coming here since they were kids. I hope it stays that way cause there's so much development in the area and I'm am afraid this mom and pop or I should say hole in the wall will disappear when rent keeps goin up. This used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in South Florida. I haven't been there in ages, and it is under new management. The place looks cleaner, brighter, and more inviting. We had lunch there. We ordered chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce along with three dim sum items (steamed pork buns, shrimp shu mai, and bean curd skin). The eggplant had no flavor and did not soak up the garlic sauce. The lunch is served with a bowl of soup and the rice and meat are plopped on a plate. The dim sum was disappointing. The bean curd skin was overcooked; the meat in the buns tasted a bit stale. But the shrimp shu mai was good. For us, the food was mediocre and not as good as it was before. read more

This place literally rips you off. I understand it's hard times for most but this is not how you do business. When calling in to place a pick up order, I was told it would be $29. When I arrived, it's $39. And going back on the menu, I was completely P'sd off to see the item is only $19.99!! I despise this business for this conduct. Chinese food just hits the spot after a 18 hour plus workday. When it's close to your office and relatively comfortable (ie not just takeout) is even better! A friend who's from the area recommend Sang's and I finally decided to check it out one day after work. I must say, with the shades they had on the windows it looked to be always closed. I double checked with said friend, and stopped by after a marathonic workday. They have their own parking lot - score! I decided to stick to the classic - pork dumplings, General Cheng Chicken and sticky rice. The dumplings were a little past aldente (how I like them) and stuffed with more shredded pork than my usual neighborhood spot. They were also served with a mildly spicy sauce. My General Cheng (that sweet & spicy mainstay known by another spelling variation) had a nice mix of sweet and spicy, with ever a hint of smokiness. Nice! Above all else, the food is just nasty. I trusted the reviews and idk what Chinese food they've had in the past, but this is not it. I called to order chicken wings with the house rice as a side and asked if I can get it without ham or pork. The lady then asked "just shrimp & chicken" I said yes and finished ordering. 1. the amount of wings is really two and they just cut them up. 2. She gave me pork fried rice and charged me for a separate chicken and shrimp fried rice. 3. the SWEET ICED TEA is just a small cup of SWEET TEA. Not to mention, this plus a spare rib combo was 43 dollars. We ordered the peppered steak, dumplings, chicken lo mein, spring rolls, sweet and sour soup, and wonton soup and every single dish was delicious. The portions were very generous, the flavors were bold, and everything tasted fresh and well made. Honestly, the food smelled so good that I barely remembered to take a photo until we were almost done eating. Even better, all of this came out to only about $50, which is an amazing value for the quality, quantity, and overall experience. Use to my go to restaurant when I was living in Miami. Since my move away, this is my second time visited the restaurant. I feel their customer traffic go down. We were wondering it may be cause by old restaurant name. We pan fried noodles with meat and seafood. The egg noodles are fried. It to with sauce bbq meat, squid, shrimp, scallops, chicken and more. The sauce softens the fried noodles and makes this dish desirable. We also got salt and pepper fried lobster. The lobster is fresh and meaty. It was delicious. Overall the food taste is there. Once we selected what we wanted the food came out relatively quick. It did seem that the fried orders and rice were a little greasier than I was used to, but overall good authentic dim sum. For the last few years my favorite North Dade / South Broward spot has been China Pavilion in Pines. While I still think CP is great, Sangs has blown it out of the water. I find myself craving their siu mai, crispy bacon roll, and rice paste. There isn't an item that I've tried that I disliked though. Dim sum is like Chinese tapas, just keep ordering. Miami isn't known for good Asian food, but this Cantonese place has been good so far. The only dish that was bad, was the diced chicken fried rice. I think I got sick from it.
