I usually buy food here for my husband. I don't usually eat the food but I tried some of the special rice and couldn't help tasting an aftertaste similar to msg usage. I did eat an egg roll that was overpriced but tasty. This place was referred to me by a co-worker. It's a little take-out Chinese restaurant tucked away that I have passed numerous times because in my home area. It's nothing fancy. Go in, order, get your food and leave. Simple as that maybe, the food was incredible. I had a seafood fried rice, which I requested extra vegetables. It was so flavorful and cooked just right. Their Crab Ragoons (I hope that's spelled correctly) was to die for. The acknowledged me upon walking in the door, and it was crowed. The wait was a little long, as expected due to the crowd, but I must say, it was well worth the wait. The food was just ok. Most of all the service/customer service was terrible. I'm surprised nobody jumped across the counter yet at the lady taking orders. She's rude as hell and loud and like to embarrass people. They don't take phone orders, you have to go in to order and they close at 7pm. Also they alway run out of rice. I also ordered honey garlic wing, they were salty as well and dry and not crispy. The crab ragoons were good, but the sweet sour dipping sauce taste like it has curry in it . I called to state that they forgot my egg rolls and found out they close at 7. I don't know how this place is packed, there are much better Chinese restaurants in the area. Yes, this is my first check-in but I've been coming to Hong Kong house since my Parents would bring me as a kid. Back when they were located off of the 826 & 37th Ave and had the screen door. They're food hasn't changed one bit. They are very friendly and family oriented. No Chinese in Miami-Dade or Broward can compare. Everything is fresh and hot to order. Some of my favorites include: Special fried rice (no bean sprouts), Honey Wings (extra honey on the side) and the combination egg rolls. My family and I have eaten here for years and the food that we've order is always delicious. You can see right in the kitchen as you order your food and everything appears very clean. The food can be a little pricey depending on what you order but I sometimes I don't mind because the food is just that fresh & good. Their lunch specials are not even Chinese. So I opted to get the more expensive dish and not satisfied. It came with 4 pieces of chicken and it's salty. They also forgot to give me my spring rolls.
