Service was bad, took 15min to come get our order when there wasn't even that much people. And the food? How to explain? It's one of the worse food I ever had in Miami, and I have been living here for the past 10 years. I couldn't even eat because I was scared to get sick. I order the pad Thai at first and it was inedible, looked like it came from canned food, and tasted like it. Then I switched it for sushi, and when I tell you it was so disgusting that I was scared to eat them and get food poisoning. The place is also filthy. If I could put 0 star, I will. Back then, we had decided to stop coming after noticing a decline in the service, food quality, and cleanliness -- all reasons enough to move on. Recently, while searching for a good Thai spot in the neighborhood, we decided to check out the latest reviews to see if things had improved. One thing that stood out was that they're still in business (and even survived the pandemic) -- a sign that they must be doing something right. Tonight, we gave them another chance, and much to our surprise, they were fantastic -- just as we remembered from years ago! Yesterday, I was craving Thai food, so I stopped in for a quick bite on my lunch break. I looked over the lunch specials, and the basil duck really caught my eye so I ended up ordering it. It came with a eggroll and a choice of soup or salad and I chose the salad. The duck was so delicious and crispy, and the Thai basil sauce was tangy and the perfect pairing for the duck. The eggroll was also delicious. The only minor issue was that the lettuce in the salad was a little mealy and old. My server was excellent and very attentive. Very elegant decor and spotless. Our server was very responsive and helpful. Very pleasant to converse with and easily explained every dish. He kept our drinks full and our table clean. The curries were delicious and beautifully to look at. The Fresh Wraps were the best I've ever had to joy of experiencing. Tucked away off NE 163 St and Biscayne, Thai House II is a cozy and dimly lit Thai spot when I wanted to indulge the comfort food classics on a rainy afternoon. The interior is nice and dim, perfect for either a date or recovery Sunday. I was lucky to sit near a TV and enjoy some Sunday football while munching on my favorites. The steamed pork gyoza had a good texture to the noodle, just past al dente and with plenty of meat. Although served with plain ketchup (they did substitute to the proper sriracha when I requested) the chicken Katsu was tasty and not overly breaded. Closing up with my volcano chicken, I enjoyed a generous plate of spicy chicken breasts with a good bit of heat and fresh veggies. Definitely a yummy spot! read more

The place is nicely decorated with good ambience. All tables are made of wood with carved images that can be seen through the glass. The restrooms are located at the back so on the way there you can see some tables stacked up in the corner so they could do a better job on keeping the are neat but not a big deal. Many options for Thai food and a sushi bar that looked pretty fresh. We ordered the chicken pad thai and the green curry with tofu. Portions were generous and the taste was really good.
