After attempting to repair his aging Tomberlin Emerge golf cart, I finally convinced him that it might be time to trade it in for something newer and more reliable. I'd been telling him about an orange EZGO RXV that was available at Affordable Golf Carts Fort Myers Beach, so after brunch on Sunday, we stopped by to take a look. Although the store was closed, we were able to see the showroom through the windows. My father-in-law spotted the orange RXV and instantly fell in love with it. After some phone and email communication with Justin, we returned Monday morning. As soon as we walked into the showroom, we were immediately impressed. The bright colors, the presentation, and the overall atmosphere created an exciting experience. My father-in-law felt so comfortable with Justin that he decided to move forward with the purchase. Having owned three auto body repair shops and managing two others throughout my career, I've seen my share of businesses and retail operations. I can honestly say that this store presents itself in an exceptionally professional manner. The showroom, the outdoor display areas with the bright choices of colors, and the way the carts are showcased create an experience that makes even grown men feel like kids in a candy store. Everything was thoughtfully displayed, inviting, and enjoyable to look at. The store manager Justin was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. My father-in-law is not the easiest person to impress, so when he told me he planned to recommend Justin and the Affordable Golf Carts Fort Myers Beach store to all of his friends at Jamaica Bay in Fort Myers, I knew I wasn't the only one who recognized the quality of service we received. The technician who installed the mirrors and prepared the cart for delivery--whose name unfortunately escapes me at the moment--was equally professional and courteous. Both he and Justin made us feel less like customers and more like family. Even the delivery driver represented the company exceptionally well. He was professional, friendly, and took pride in what he was doing. What stood out most to me was the pride everyone seemed to take in the store, the product, and the customer experience. From the moment we walked through the door, it felt like we were dealing with people who genuinely cared about their business and their customers. I was less than impressed with our whole experience. We booked a golf cart for the weekend ahead of our stay, and only got the confirmation email of our payment and nothing more. Not any type of instructions on when or how to get the golf cart, when their website says they will deliver it and we requested we wanted it delivered when we made the reservation.. So we call that morning when it's open and they say to come pick it up- still never any communication more than that about our whole reservation. If we hadn't called I'm not sure they ever would have followed up with us. Then, we go to pick it up and probably get one of the crappiest golf carts I've ever used lol. And I was a golfer so I've used many a golf cart- this one struggled to even go like 8mph. We also saw other golf carts rented from another business on the island that were multitudes nicer than the one we got. And I wouldn't have a huge problem with a low quality golf cart except we paired nearly $200 to have it for a little over a day. That's kind of nuts, even for a tourist island. All in all it was just disappointing and a pain to use YOLO for a rental service. If I come back to the island I'd use a different rental company.

I had an amazing time renting a Moke from Moke and Cabana club in Sanibel. If you're not familiar…read morewith them, a Moke is like a small electric Jeep or a tricked out golf cart basically. It's street-legal, can seat four people, and has a range of about 60 miles. It's got a California and beach vibe that's super fun! It can reach speeds of around 35 mph. We booked our Moke online, chose the color we wanted, and filled out the forms. The next day, they delivered it to the Sanibel Camber of Commence. It was ready at 9 am, so I hopped in and drove off! We spent the entire day exploring Sanibel and Captiva. It was so much fun and easy to use. You can put the top down, but we left it up for shade since the sun was shining brightly. There are no doors so it's super easy to get in and out, and you can feel the nice ocean breeze whisking by! It's definitely an attention-getter too - everyone looks at it and asks questions. I don't regret doing this at all. I would love to rent one again! The process was so easy and smooth. We dropped it off at 5 pm, and we put almost 60 miles on it. The battery was about 1/4 or a little more.
