Found this little gem on a Sunday night while looking for a vegan place in Madrid. It is a really small place in terms of square footage, nothing pretentious, just warm and cozy. I started with pineapple, cucumber and grapefruit juice along with a small plate of their daily tapa special which was tofu with hummus. They both were delicious! I had lentil meatballs with steamed broccoli, tomatoes and purple cabbage. The lentil balls were warm and it was very filling. For dessert, I had vegan ice-cream with two scoops of mango-raspberry and rice flavors. They were my favorite part of the meal! Rice icecream was made from rice milk and the other one with soy milk. The mango-raspberry flavor was great! The service was quick and the servers were warm and friendly!

Incredible. So healthy and so munch flavor. The best gluten free vegan burger I have ever had in my life! I felt healthier walking out after my delicious meal. And the presentation was gorgeous. So much thought went into the details, it was a beautiful experience to come here.

Peppers stuffed with hummus and a side of perfectly cooked pumpkin and vegetables!

If all vegan food tastes like this, I'd be vegan. It's that simple that this place rocks!

Great prices, beautiful dishes that taste great. I liked the fact that you can choose your sides and personalize the meal. Also the place is well designed. We got free samples of kiwi banana smoothie and dark chocolate squares with the bill. There is free wifi there as well.

We love love love this restaurant!! The staff is very inviting and the food is amazing! I'm a vegetarian so it's great to have a safe place where I can eat everything. My hubby eats meat and liked it as much as I did. We had wraps, they looked like a salad had been smashed into a tortilla but it has packed with flavor and different textures! We are going back for more!

Don't get me wrong - they do indeed have a whole bunch of food vendors that all looked extremely good. Some of them were tourist-priced (ok, a majority of them were tourist-priced), but none of them looked *bad*, just not *necessarily* worth the price, when you could go any number of places nearby and get food as good, for cheaper. But there were definitely some hidden gems, including one absolutely wonderful tapas place that we ordered a bunch of little tostas from, of all different sorts, that we were absolutely impressed by and happy with all of. And of course, the vendor I had originally been most excited about, La Hora del Vermut, which does indeed offer both very inexpensive, great "house" vermouth, and very affordable fancy vermouths. I would've loved to hang out at a bar like that... if I could do so and also *move*. See, the thing is... this market is absolutely not big enough for all its accolades. As Yogi Berra may or may not have ever said, "No one goes there nowadays, it's too crowded." At least I probably wouldn't ever go back there... we could barely hear to order tapas at the tapas place, and good luck finding a place to eat if you're not taking it to go. Good luck actually making it to one of the vendors further away from the entrance, either. It was an absolute madhouse, so we ordered a bunch of tostas at once, I braved the insanity to get a couple glasses of vermouth and met my wife outside the actual market to eat them on the steps. And that was the *off* season - if it's like that in January, I could only imagine it in May! Great vendors, but as a market, they really need better crowd management / foot traffic control.

Everything here is "organic," "natural," or "healthy" and, therefore, should alert you to what you're walking into. I say all that not because it's disgusting. I honestly think you should know what you're walking into. They serve everything from coffees to smoothies to milkshakes to breakfast items. The coffee is good. You can order all types of specialty coffees with cream and add-ins. Smoothies are their specialty, but the milkshakes leave much to be desired (personal note, if you want a milkshake, go somewhere else; their milkshakes are more like milk water). The breakfast items such as their breakfast bowls are delicious. Packed with fresh fruit and natural ingredients, these bowls are perfect when fresh. Warning do not get these bowls to go or delivered. They tend to "melt" and become watery during transportation. Nevertheless, if you have to order to-go or delivery, they are still good just not as good. Overall, this is not a horrible place. If you're in the mood for "natural" food, this is your place.
