They actually came after hours to fill my needs. I warned them that everything was just painted and I would be livid if 1 scratch occurred on the trim or walls. I was looking for someone to revive my worn out, heavily stained carpet on my stairs. My last resort was to pay for replacing the carpet. I recently had my floors laminated because the carpet in my living room was beyond any type of carpet repair cleaning. It was so bad a carpet cleaner had to refund my money because he said it was too soiled. I gave carpet cleaning one more shot on my steps (and I am sure glad I did). Wow, Eric (the owner) practices customer service to the max. Booking was a back and forth but only because I called after hours, then missed a call, and the cycle repeated a few times more. However once we talked, everything was seamless. They sent a text message 24 hours before confirming the appointment, and showed up early! It was amazing, and if I want there early Eric was going to wait, so no pressure there. Eric is the sole technician as well as the owner. When I asked him about expansion he said he hasn't found anyone that would keep his level of quality assurance. I thought this was a canned speech, but through seeing his thoroughness on the job, I'm a believer. This joke just walked out of my house. First, I called him on a Friday and left a voicemail and no one called me back by Monday so I called again. That should have been my first clue. Secondly, I gave him details on every room of my house that needed cleaning including the 13 steps. I repeatedly mentioned that my home is a split foyer and that we have stairs. He even ASKED if I have stairs that need to be done and I told him the number. He said he would be here by 8 AM Wednesday and didn't show up until almost 9. When showing him the house, he asked about the steps and I told him yes of course they need to be done and because he forgot to include them in his original number he asked that I pay 55 dollars more. He was by far the highest of the three quotes I got but because of the reviews on here I went with him, as I usually always like to have quality over cost, but this was too much! When I told him I wasn't paying an additional 55 (because we had discussed the stairs. IF we had not, I would have gladly paid as it could be considered a reasonable oversight) he turned around and walked out of my home. Now all of my furniture is piled in my living room. I completely disputed the last two nights of my life completing his checklist for preparing my home for him. I hope that maybe I caught him on a bad day and that this is not sincerely how he runs his business. Best customer service ever. Was able to get a quote over the phone, and he showed up right on time. The service was great. I had my carpeted basement cleaned after kids foot traffic, pet hair, and a couple pet accidents. He let me know what he could and couldn't fix before starting and told me treating the pet accidents with special treatment wouldn't be cost effective. Then he did a great job. My carpets look new. We hadn't cleaned our jfamily room berber carpet, and stairway short pile for about a year, so we started looking around for someone with good reviews. We have sworn off the big names like Stanley as we've never been satisfied with the ones that spend all their money on advertising rather than quality work and customer service. When we saw the reviews for S4S, we initially were skeptical ... they looked too good. But we figured let's see what he says. When we called we talked right away to Erice, the owner. Told him what we needed. He asked all the right questions told us what would be required, mentioned that he is a green cleaner (main reason we called him as that was on Yelp), and then gave us what seemed like a very reasonable estimate. He gave us a window for arrival and kept us apprised by text of his ETA. So far so good. Now the best part. The carpet (both) looks better than they have in 10 years! He worked until he got it to his satisfaction and that also met ours. In fact, he worked on the family room so long that I actually tried to pay him more because I thought he earned it. And he had to do some extra steps in that room. Moved furniture (some heavy), put everything back perfectly. And he refused any extra payment. Now that's a guy who wants repeat business! Promptly cleaned carpet in addition to 30 stairs that required some "elbow grease"(hand cleaning). He was very professional, knowledgeable and just plain NICE. I thought I was going to need to buy new carpets--until Eric came to my home. I had the trifecta of tough stains: old chocolate milk, old orange Mio, and old cat urine. When I called and spoke with Eric, he said he would do his best to get them out. Do his best is an understatement. My carpets haven't looked that nice since they were new and my carpets are old. He was very friendly and knew his business. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want. I highly recommend S 4 S. I was referred to the company through nextdoor.com. I called, spoke w/ Eric Brice (the owner), and w/in a day ir so he was in my house hiving me an estimate. He looked at the various trouble areas, asked questions about certain stains (how long has it been stained, what caused the stain, etc.), and got back to me the same night w/ his estimate. The day of the cleaning, he came out on time, eore a mask, and got right to work. Eric is professional, friendly, and honest. He didn't make outlandish promises about which stains would come out. He explained exactly what he was going to try, but made it clear he couldn't guarantee that all the stains would be gone, or that my 20+ yr old carpeting would look like new. Our carpets are berber which are really tough to clean! We are renting and have a relatively young dog who has gotten sick and had accidents on this carpet. I was completely ecstatic with Eric's work and his compassionate personality! We purchased a Groupon that covered 5 rooms, maximum 1,000 ft. Immediately, when I contacted the company, I was greeted and helped, although I was put on hold for 5 minutes, I was easily accommodated into their schedule, which can be difficult a few days before Christmas. When he arrived (on time!) he looked over the rooms we requested to be cleaned, and he recommended using certain rooms for the Groupon, and using the extra rooms/areas/hallways we wanted to have cleaned as supplements, which in the end, saved us money! He was very careful of furniture and pets, quiet, and he only took one short break! I offered him water/soda several times, but he said, "I'd like to earn that drink." Sanitize for Serenity had 5 stars and great reviews so I decided to give them a try.... They were very easy to schedule with, using the Groupon was very easy and my carpets look great! The day before my appointment time I received a text message confirming my appointment time. Eric who cleaned the carpets was well within the 2 hour time window and he was friendly, explained everything he was going to do to clean the carpets and how long it would take him as well as dry time. Eric from sanitize is great! It was 85 for a master bedroom without any furniture moved, so basically not much carpet. He was timely and sent me a text to notify me of the ETA. He explained to me the process and did not make any promises. I did let him know I SPECIFICALLY needed pet stains removed when making the appointment. When he got here he said his product was not meant for pet stains...so I felt misled at that point. Moving frequently, I have used a lot of carpet cleaning services, and Sanitize 4 Serenity is, by far, the best. I have used all of the major companies, and many smaller businesses. Sanitize 4 Serenity was the first company to tell me the truth about how fast the carpets will dry, and it was quick. Other companies always say, 4 to 8 hours, maybe 12 hours, but usually, I'm dealing with wet carpets for a full day. After Eric cleaned, I'd say the first carpet he cleaned was dry by the time he finished the last carpet, which was only about 2 hours later. He worked hard, and mad sure he cleaned every square inch of the areas I asked to be cleaned, even on the stairs. The landlords had hired a carpet cleaner when we moved in, and they had been unable to clean many stains. When we moved out, we hired Sanitize 4 Serenity, and they made those same carpets look like brand new carpets. Our landlords were seriously impressed, and gave us our full deposit back, despite us having lost some drapes at the dry cleaners. As far as pricing, I had called no less than 15 other carpet cleaning services, and Sanitize 4 Serenity had competitive pricing.
