I first met Dr. Gross when I moved to the area a few years ago and he has since been my favorite dentist I've ever had. He is effective in answering every single question I've had. He'll even go on to further and clarify if what I am doing will help my dental care or If I will be wasting my money. For example, when I asked about scheduling a third cleaning each year he explained that it wasn't that necessary as plaque build-up is effectively maintained with two cleanings. In the past, I've had multiple dentists advise me to pay out of pocket for a third cleaning as it was necessary to stop build-up of plaque and that two appointments weren't really effective. More recently, my wife and I both needed to have a root canal and crowns completed. Dr. Gross worked with us by referring us to a colleague for the root canal who was fast and efficient. On the day of my appointment, Dr. Gross called him and requested he add in a post to my tooth to help maintain the integrity. Since mine was a retreatment, my insurance denied my claim and both offices worked with me by giving me a discounted rate. For my wife, following her root canal, Dr. Gross surprised her and told her she did not need the crown as there was minimal decay. I didnt think that was even feasible but I'm happy it is. His office is always clean, and is located in a small outdoor strip mall with plenty of parking. He's always happy, his staff is always smiling, and lastly, yes, he is always cracking jokes. For three years now I've enjoyed spending time in his office whether its speaking about old movies, Dr. Gross is a fan of Black & White films, or hearing another one of his corny dad jokes, or talking about his dog, its always a pleasant time even if I have to have a crown.

If you make an appointment for 11AM--it doesn't matter because you're working to Dr. Nejat's schedule. 11AM could be 1130AM or noon, it all depends. This may be your ideal dentist if you have nothing else to do with your day. Remember, the office actually sets the time and date of your appointment; your sole input is to agree or not. If you're a first time patient of Dr. Nejat's, it will be stressed that you must show up 15 minutes before your appointment. This is on the website and appointment confirmation notifications. This is done, presumably, so they can get your personal and insurance info. Pro tip: it doesn't matter. I had downloaded the new patient forms from the website and had them completed prior to arriving 20 minutes early for my first appointment. They didn't even ask to see them until about 10 minutes after my appointment should have started. My first visit was to be a routine checkup and cleaning. If you're like me, your dental insurance covers two of these per year. Dr. Nejat has other ideas. For what remains an unclear reason to me, she was unable to provide the routine cleaning during my appointment. When I asked Dr. Nejat why this was, she gave a very confusing answer about my being a new patient and needing to give me a checkup before determining whether I needed a "deep" cleaning or not. Bottomline: not getting the cleaning that day and would have to schedule another appointment for routine cleaning. Coming back for the cleaning, I ended up waiting for about 40 minutes before I decided I could do better. You can too.

This was my first dental visit in years and I know that my teeth aren't good. I have lots of cavities and probably need root canals. He stated that "I had alot of cavities, BIG cavites and that I needed to do better taking care of my mouth." That I was, "too young to have a mouth like this." However, the owner recently decided to retire and sold the business. After the sale, Tender Dental Care relocated to a new location. The new facility appeared modern and welcoming and I looked forward to continued exceptional service. However, this was not to be the case. Service, follow-up, and overall customer engagement took a nose-dive. The last straw was when I tried repeatedly since June 2024 to resolve a billing issue. Specifically, I overpaid for treatment and as a result, I was due a refund. However, since June (It is currently October) I have been playing telephone tag to get this issue resolved. During my latest call, I was informed the Office Manager is the person I need to speak with to get this addressed (Note: During one call I was told ("The Check is In the Mail") would be out until Monday (10/14) - note today is Wednesday (10/9/24).
