I came here while visiting from Alaska and the people couldn't have been nicer. The ER gave me and my friend his pin and one of the tilers gave us a very good and detailed tour. The place was huge and well taken care of. We met a lot of officers that night and they were all very friendly and glad to have us there. It was taco Tuesday and it was excellent! Great food and service. If anyone from here ever visits 1662 I'll be sure to give them the same excellent treatment they gave us. read more

The receptionist on the right as you walk in is so extremely rude. I walked in, she looked at me with the loudest sigh ever, rolled her eyes and walked away. Disappointed to say the least. I was happy she walked away considering if that's how I was greeted, I can't imagine any better service coming from her. She needs to check herself and try again. First off, I'd like to state that the facility is by far the best Elks Lodge I've visited in OC. I was looking for a place to hold my Mom's celebration of life 1 year anniversary. I came here because I am very familiar with Elks Lodge due to my parents holding parties here in previous years. I gave this place a 1 star because of my experience with the event coordinator Stacey Pineda. At first, she was communicative when I had questions about holding an event there. When I went there with my Dad to check the venue her response to asking me if I checked the paperwork she sent regarding the pricing and venue was not previously reviewed due to the schedule I had the time did not allow me to view. She seemed to be upset about me not being able to review the paperwork she sent me. My Dad asked her the name of the room that we viewed and her reply back was "I already told you the name sir" and so I left it at that since I also had my son who was running around as well. Anyway long story short just her whole energy towards my Father and I was combative. My Father still placed a deposit on this place. I didn't want this place because of her attitude but my Father still placed the deposit. Anyway, I emailed her asking her a few additional questions she took a few days to respond back and for me when I request services from a specific place I like communication not where you respond back a few days later not even apologizing for her delayed response. It's just be more attentive to your customers Stacey. I canceled my services with holding a party here and even contacting her on the phone was harder than ever and even email. Like WTH do you have to do at Elks Lodge that keeps you so busy to not respond back to your customer a few days later. I'm done, just wanted to leave this on here before anyone else has to deal with her nonsense. If you have to deal with Stacey on your next event good luck or just stay away don't even bother cuz she won't even bother dealing with you either. read more

Karen is one of the best bartenders there but not saying the rest aren't great as well, she just happens to be working when we stop in. Food is great and we enjoy the Sunday breakfast options. Came here for a 50th birthday party. Nice private area on the patio that had enough room for tables, food, and a DJ. Side room attached for a cash bar and a Photo Booth. Plenty of parking. Only complaint is you could also hear the music from another party bleed into ours. read more

Probably the best Elks club I've ever seen. Place is well-kept and provides multiple room options for events. The only negative is that you can hear what's going on in the next space and it can overwhelm your own event as the sound comes through pretty loudly. read more

There I would find an environment of companionship and brotherhood where I could dedicate myself to the intellectual, physical, and social development of my fraternal brothers. And drink beer in the audience of stuffed animal heads. Exhibit A of my case for the Elks is the full, formal name of their parent organization: "The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America." Just reading it makes my hand cover my heart, my eyes look to the kitchen, and my feet race to the Elks' generous table, which, here at Lodge 794, offers an appreciable bounty accentuated by spry wait staff who genuinely appreciate your patronage (and membership, if you are so inclined). On this day as a guest of the lodge, my patronage was rewarded with a Big Pork Chop, from which there protruded 2 bones. That's how thick it was. Juicy, flavorful, and appreciated, it was chased down with a dash of whiskey to punctuate my Elks experience. I will look for similarly welcoming fraternal organizations in my neighborhood, and will share tales of my evening with the Elks in Santa Ana. read more

Can I get a What What times 5! The new Elks in Santa Ana is off the hook! It's brand new, built from the ground up! Most Elks lodges are older because they were bought years ago! Dan (Current ER) and Allen (PER) have put a lot of work into making the new Elks Lodge a site to see! Visited today and all I can say is Wowser! The building is brand spanking new (shared with the new Orange County Credit Union). [Customer Service] Ate at the bar and Eric was our bartender. A kind sir if I must say. Very attentive and made sure we were taken care off. [Food] Awesome food! They had a legit lunch and dinner menu! The cook is from the Black Marlin Restaurant (Old Town Tustin). We had the steak sandwich, wedge salads, artichoke soup and corned beef sandwich. All of it was scrumptious! [Building] Very well planned out! Giant bar area with room for karaoke and dancing! The "Nest" had a second bar along with a shuffleboard and pool tables! The dining area for special events had tons of tables and a nice stage area to entertain! If I could give zero stars I would. My wife bought a membership here because we enjoyed the karaoke night on Thursday. It's one night a week. Because a few people didn't like the noise at the dinner ONE NIGHT A WEEK, (They serve dinner 7 nights a week) they shortened it by more than one half and ran it later. Too short to get more than 1 song in. They literally screwed up a very fun night because of a few people complaining about it. They have bands here fairly regularly. Will they cancel them too if we go in and complain they're too loud? I don't like football. I know others that don't either. Will they stop showing football in the dining room if a few people complain they don't like to see it and it ruins their dinner? We have spoken to other members who enjoy karaoke there. My wife and many others who come for the karaoke won't be continuing our memberships there. The karaoke community is a very large crowd. I hope it was worth the loss of members to them because a couple of people couldn't come to dinner one of the other 6 nights a week. The food and drinks aren't very cheap either. Dinner and drinks plus tips usually runs about $80 Plenty of other venues I'd rather spend my money at that are karaoke friendly...AND I don't have to buy a $400 membership to go there! My donations and memberships will go to the Moose and American legion from now on. They actually embrace karaoke and see the value in letting their members get to express their artistic side and don't fold to pressure from a few people who are probably just jealous because they can't sing anyhow....The KJ Adam is also epic by the way. We have been utilizing the curbside service during this trying time ! The lodge offers an extensive menu that should satisfy the taste of anyone ! We ordered the Cod and Steak one evening and the Prime Rib on another evening ! The contactless delivery was appreciated and very quick , Bill and team have a very organized system. The meals were delicious and plentiful. The meals come with warm up instructions however if you are not going home - there are not plates and napkins - just the original containers that don't really work in the microwave . We got pretty creative do it was all good ! Will definitely continue to order from the lodge! read more

Linda, the lodge secretary and PER gave me and my wife a personal tour. There's plenty of parking and food service is everyday for lunch and dinner with Saturday and Sunday offering breakfast. Santa Ana 794 is Beautiful lodge, great for parties and special events. The bartender Edgar is always so professional and friendly. It's a perfect place to drop by to grab a drink. The food sadly is a hit and miss. I give it a C+ the Doc Burger and Fish and chips are my fav. When there is food on the menu, I expect food on the menu to order. Example, Rib night is advertised my daughter excited to have ribs. We are there early enough, but no ribs, their out! So bad inventory or planning on their end. The dessert menu is pretty good, They do have great entertainment they hire, lots of fun events. The people are friendly and great to know. read more
