I planned a trip on the PCH from LA to Sa Francisco to celebrate my daughter's 17th birthday with fun stops along the way. After reading a LOT of reviews, I left a message to ask some questions. Bob was wonderful. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I'd ridden a horse twice in 30 years and was very nervous each time. This would be my daughter's first time. He assured me they would pair us appropriately with a horse. Zack was our guide. He exceeded my expectations!! He was very informative and gave great Instructions. he was very patient and never made me feel uncomfortable for being nervous. He teaches riding and is obviously a very skilled rider. you can tell he loves his job and likes to share the experience with people! The scenery was gorgeous. It's a memory my daughter and I will cherish for the rest of our lives!

We were celebrating our five year anniversary and wanted to do something really special! Horseback riding on the beach has definitely been on my bucket list forever! It was such a beautiful day to go and our tour guide Ava was so professional and friendly. Definitely pricey but a worthy experience! Recommend!! Side note: If you do not normally go horseback riding just be aware that it can really hurt your thighs and booty!

    Guide glued to his phone.

First for the positives. The horses behaved well and it was a fun experience to ride on the beach and take in the beautiful scenery. Negatives: the ride was scheduled at 10 and when we arrived they said we had the wrong time and had to come back 2 hours later. The guide was talking on his phone or looking at it for 90 % of the ride. The tack was old worn out, synthetic saddles with ripped fenders and uncomfortable stirrups. The bridles were mis matched pieces of both english and western tack. The horses appeared under fed and thirsty. Oh, and this is a good one, at the end, he asked if we wanted to leave a tip!

We had a wonderful time! I forget the guy's name who took us on the trail, but he did a great job guiding the tour. You go through the beach and even some lemon trees! Very fun, and romantic. Small group setting which was perfect for our honeymoon adventure. I definitely want to go back and see Sprinkles and Scout again! Don't forgot to tip your tour guide, and follow the rules! Some influencer type girl kept getting in trouble not listening. ...it was kind of funny. I was entertained!! Absolutely beautiful view, we went during the week and it seems like no one is on that beach. The guy even took a photo of us which was really nice!! Hopefully we will be back next year on our anniversary!

After alot of research this is the best (in my opinion) horseback riding business you can go with. The guide was very knowledgeable and very concerned for our safety. It's a very nice and tranquil ride from the property where the horses are at to the beach. All the horses are very well mannered and trained. We will definitely be going back to do this again.

Took my wife horseback riding for her birthday... something we had not done in decades so I was little terrified but ended it up being a blast and having lots of fun! We were scheduled for a Sat 1pm ride and I had checked how long it would take to get there in the morning but by the time we headed out, there was a lot of unexpected heavy traffic which would put us about 15 min late. I texted then spoke to Charlie, the manager, to give him a heads up and he was very accommodating... Part of the group had gone ahead as scheduled but the other part of the group was also running late so they got us a separate guide with Tori which all worked out great! (FYI - Charlie is direct and has dry humor which we found hilarious so don't be put off... He's really a nice guy!) My wife rode Koda and I was on Haze. Haze is a great horse who was kept at the head of the pack as he was fast and liked to run and gallop ahead of the rest which after I figured him out, was a lot of fun! Koda was a little slower than my horse and a bit stubborn so you have to be a little more assertive which my wife had no trouble with and had fun on too. So just go into it knowing that each horse has its own personality and character traits. Our guide was Tori who's an expert rider with many years experience riding horses and knows how to handle any situation. Her own horse was jittery and got spooked a lot but she handled it like a pro which was amazing to watch. We really liked her; Tori's very knowledgeable and she answered all my questions as we were riding. The ride was beautiful! My wife especially liked the ride down the road from the stables as it was very scenic and peaceful. And I enjoyed the ride along Loon Point Beach. If you'd like to do something fun for a special occasion, I highly recommend these guys! They'll take good care of you!

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time and will be recommending this to our friends and family. We had originally planned for a beach ride, but the tide was too high so we did the scenic trail instead and we were not disappointed! Gorgeous views, also through the lemon groves of the nearby ranch. Our horses, Tommy and Duke, were very well behaved. Our guide Mason was knowledgeable and great to ride with, although not much time was spent on initial instructions. Unfortunately another young woman in our group got bucked off, I think because her horse got too close beside another horse and freaked out. Mason handled it very well -- apologized, made sure the woman was okay, and switched horses with her. Overall, excellent experience and I would love to go back someday.

My beautiful horse for the ride = Tommy

I went on the beach ride with Paco today and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this experience! It is beautiful, the horses are wonderful, Paco was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience very special. I have only ridden horses one other time ten years ago and he made me feel very comfortable and safe. We trotted on the beach, rode on beautiful trails, he took wonderful pictures and we saw lots of amazing birds (a huge blue heron), property, and plants. If you are thinking of booking this trip - definitely do so. Worth every penny. Also felt very safe with how they handled things with COVID. I hope to get back and do it again soon. I loved my horse Tommy!

Great experience on a beautiful day to walk from the ranch to the beach. Almost chose a different place due to price but it was well worth it. Mason was very helpful and patient with riders of varying experiences. 10/10 would recommend.

Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the more disappointing parts of the trip. The seating is tightly packed. I understand maximizing capacity, but at 6'6" it was not comfortable. We moved to the front right side where there is a sideways bench behind the driver, which offered more legroom. That felt like a smart move until we realized most of the sights being pointed out were on the left side of the trolley. It felt like about 80 percent of the tour was oriented that direction, which meant we were constantly twisting around and still missing details. If you book this tour, sit on the left side. The narration also felt disorganized. The driver mentioned he was reading the traffic flow incorrectly and ended up doing much of the route "backwards." Because of that, he would introduce a historical figure or landmark, then later circle back and partially repeat the same information when reaching his usual talking point. There was noticeable repetition and filler instead of a smooth, cohesive storyline. Midway through the tour, there is a stop at Mission Santa Barbara for about 15 minutes. While it is nice to get off and stretch your legs, 15 minutes is nowhere near enough time to meaningfully experience the mission. You can walk through the courtyard and take a few photos, but that is about it. The mission deserves more time than a quick pass through. In practice, the stop felt more like a checkbox than a real opportunity to explore. Another frustration was departure time. The 2:00 p.m. tour did not leave at 2:00. The driver waited past the scheduled time to see if additional passengers would join. When you are visiting from out of town and carefully stacking your schedule, those extra 10 to 15 minutes matter. Overall, for about $30 per person, I expected a more polished and better organized experience. We both left disappointed. If you want a meaningful introduction to Santa Barbara, you may be better off exploring key spots on your own at your own pace.

LOL Now that I've taken the tour, I would say the driver's side is slightly better. My most favorite part of the tour was when the road vehicle turned into a watercraft! We went by the seals & birds on the dock and buoy. We saw Lil Toot taxiing passengers across the way. I might take that next time. It also provides a narrated tour. Our captain got us around without a hitch. The tour guide was the star of the show, she was so awesome! Maddy is very knowledgeable about the area and shared about the history. She also has a great delivery of fun facts! Her voice is used for various promotion bits for Santa Barbara. At the end of the tour, she played "Happy Birthday" on her trombone! Nicely talented! Out guide was Nancy, and she was super sweet, thoughtful, and insightful, but my review isn't based on her. It's based on experience and value. What did $270 plus tip get us over 4 hours? 2 regular sized margaritas, one small one and a total of 5 Street sized tacos and some very unathentic churrros. I would have loved to have options of some kind, we were served whatever meat they wanted to serve. These tacos were not authentic and definitely were not filling, we all were starving when we left. We definitely did more walking and talking than eating and drinking. Would definitely say, for the price, you're better off bar/taco hopping yourself. I gave 3 stars since I went with good friends and Nancy was sweet.

We got plenty of food! Definitely no need to eat lunch after as was our plan. Delicious dishes! Oh also had chicken parmigiana and tagliatelle served with a fun Margarita! Yummy.... We also had one really great wine tasting, the only "bad" part was that I really wanted to order some wine but we kinda moved on before we got the chance to order. If I would change anything I would ask that they maybe give you a little more heads up. Georgia did a great job weaving together stories about both historical events and famous people in SB history with architectural information. if you're able to book cloud climbers, you're going to have a good time…read more I've taken cloud climbers twice previously and had a blast each time. I recently booked for 3 couples, a party of 6 for next weekend Feb 16th for belated V-day celebration. But the other 2 couples couldn't make it so I called today to update the party size to 2 people. Because we were only 2 people, we were told that they couldn't guarantee us a spot since it's not profitable for them to host a tour with only 2 people. He said he'll put me on a list, so if other people book, the tour will continue, if not, tour will be cancelled. I was a little surprised because I had received an e-mail from them that says buy a valentine special for a party of 2 (picture attached). I think it would've been nice to put a note that tours do not run if there is fewer than 4, nice to have but I didn't rate them a 4 instead of 5 star for this since I get it, a business needs to run on a profit. I decided to cancel and explore other options. When I called another tour, they explained that it was their slow season, also mentioned that there's a minimum number of people for them to be profitable, but provided me other options like instead of semi-tour, maybe first book a private tour, which is more expensive, but they'll be happy to lower the price if other people sign up too, or if I'm flexible, there's other days if I wanted the semi-tour. This was where I saw the difference between a 4-star vs 5-star service. And so to my previous statement, if you're able to book cloud climbers, you're going to have a good time. But what sets a 4-star from 5-star was this recent booking experience. 4-star was them politely letting me know they can't service two people. 5-star is letting me know, explaining why, and seeing if there's other options that might work.

My two brothers and I spent the long Thanksgiving weekend in Solvang and decided to end our trip…read morewith an ATV tour in the Santa Barbara mountains before heading back to L.A. Best decision ever! Although getting to the meeting point was a bit scary as we drove 15 mph through winding roads next to steep cliffs, the views were nice and the ATV experience was totally worth it! We gave ourselves plenty of time to get lost and it took us about 1.5 hours to get to the checkpoint. Luckily Google Maps was on the entire time and we even had an hour to kill on top of the mountain before our 12:30pm appointment. (Also had screenshots of the directions in case we lost service). Upon arrival, we met with the two girls who were wearing face masks and face shields so we felt safe. They had all the sanitizing stuff. They checked us all in, gave us each a mesh covering for our head, pairs of gloves, goggles and helmets. They offered different insurance plans (just like a rental car company), each ranging in price. Then, they walked us over to the ATVs where Jorge was our tour guide. He asked us if we've ever rode before and taught us how to use the automatic ATVs and made us feel comfortable and safe. (Throttle was on the right handle bar and brakes on the left. Second brake was a foot pedal). We drove on wide and narrow trails, over some fun rocky areas, kicking up lots of dust, and he took photos of us the entire time. This was a great family bonding experience and we're all still talking about how fun it was and want to do it again. Know Before You Go: It gets dusty so wear clothes and closed toe shoes that you're ok getting dirty. Give yourself plenty of time to drive to the location because the last thing you want to do is rush through the scary mountain roads. 10/10 would definitely do this again!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY -- TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE- Location in Tracy- Northern CA…read more We booked a mountain ATV ride with Enjoy the Mountain ATV in July 2026, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The first red flag was that the company did not provide a phone number, making it difficult to get help or clarification when we needed it. We followed their directions exactly and arrived 30 minutes early. We parked in the designated lot as instructed by the person at the gate, but our guide never came to meet us. We eventually had to drive into the park ourselves and locate the guide, who was parked on the side of the road. There was no clear signage identifying the company or where customers were supposed to check in. Once we finally found the guide, the intake process took approximately 40 minutes. After all of that, we paid approximately $700 for a ride that lasted only about 20 minutes. We were also promised pictures from the experience, but no pictures were ever provided. What made the experience even worse was the customer service afterward. Rather than taking responsibility for the poor communication, unclear instructions, lack of signage, and failure to provide what was promised, the company provided little to no accountability. For the amount of money we spent, this was absolutely not the experience we expected. Poor communication, poor organization, inadequate customer service, and failure to deliver what was promised. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company and would strongly encourage others to consider other ATV companies before booking.
