I find the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. I have been going to the Center for 1 month and…read morethey already greet my by my name as though I have been there longer. Regardless of who I ask about my dialysis, the person responding seems to know the answer to my question. During the week they check your blood. Also, at least once a week either a Doctor or Physicians Assistant visits you. My only complaint is the chairs are not the most comfortable. In fairness to the Center, after having to sit in a chair for 4 hours without getting up is uncomfortable regardless of the situation. Most patients bring bring their own blankets and chair pads to make sitting more comfortable. The chairs do allow you to turn on a vibrating back massage mechanism and/or heater. They are adjustable and do recline, although you have to ask a staff member to change position. If the chairs were more comfortable, I would give the Center 5 Stars! They have individual TV's with quite a variety of channels to choose from. However, you must provide your own headphones to listen the audio.

In my personal observation this center prioritizes on who gets first scheduling preferences and…read moreother patients get the least desirable time of the day, even if you mention it is a "Caregiver Safety Issue". Even if you go through the patient's Nephrologist who speaks to the staff directly in front of you while they are at the center, even if your medical insurance contacts that center to accommodate a patient with the schedule. The staff there will not budge and give's all parties involved who reached out to the center the round around. Most of this staff speaks in their native home language to each other and have "group out loud giggle sessions" and others who don't speak the language are left wondering what's so funny or what is all the laughing about which can go on for 10-15 minutes non-stop (annoying). Not a friendly place unless you are from their native country or speaking their language. I've tried since the start of my husband's dialysis treatments to to be kind to them by treating the staff to delicious native recognizable treats they would recognize from their country because we were "what we thought at the time" thankful to the staff for the type of profession they are dedicated to with treating diabetic patients. But as time went on and we needed to request a change of schedule, it seems other patients around would get it with no problem when they were being asked (treated in a chair near by us) what was their schedule preference request. One day while sitting in the lobby waiting for my husband I also remember hearing a patient screaming in agony when a staff treating him was removing g the needles from his arm. The longer the screaming went on, the louder it got and he started to scream for help and to have the staff individual working on him replaced. I spoke with him in the parking lot after my husband and he were released. He said he had mention to the staff before that that particular staff had been hurting him and didn't seem to know what he was doing but they would not change the staff member treating him nor his schedule to be in another staff member schedule. Mind you this guy was not from their native country. I sit with my husband through most of his dialysis treatments because there were times when they would pull out too much fluid from his body and he would come out almost in a vegetative state. I had to speak to his Nephrologist to what I witnessed and to adjust his treatment accordingly, which she sent the message to the center and they did for awhile. If you or a family, friend or loved ones goes there for treatment, I suggest to stay with the person being treated and stay alert and informed while they are being treated at that clinic.
