I got referred here for 6 sessions, and I can confirm that this place is an absolute joke. My issues were not with the front desk or the therapy assistants (I actually found them to be quite pleasant and friendly). My issue lies with the physical therapists themselves, and the general disregard of care and wellbeing they seemed to have toward their patients. I was referred there for a lower back/Piriformis injury. Basically, really debilitating sciatica stuff that had me severely immobilized. During the 6 visits, I encountered 3 physical therapists. The first one, who was the one I saw the most (4 of 6 sessions), was insanely apathetic and could not have been more mentally checked out. He could have cared less about what kind of pain I was dealing with during the whole process. But I put my better judgement aside and trusted in the medical advice and treatment plan they put together for me, even though deep down inside I could feel it physically making me worse each session. The assistants were friendly, but at the end of the day, they are pretty much just told to assign you with a task and then walk off, only to return when you are done to give you the next task. There is nobody watching to make sure your form is clean or consistent, or if you're doing the exercise correctly, or to discuss what kind of pain/tension you may be feeling during the exercise. As an athlete who trains very regularly, I am quite familiar with pains that are associated with the body getting stronger vs pains that are actively hurting/straining your body. I made mention that the exercises were causing my injury point to flare up in a very negative way, and I was basically told that it's fairly common for the body to reject physical therapy at first. Whatever. Again, I put my better judgement aside and listened to the people I'm supposed to trust because of their knowledge, training, and experience. The second physical therapist I encountered was an absolute PRICK. He was insanely condescending, refused to listen to anyone or anything, and was too busy making the most ridiculous "jokes" that had absolutely no reason to be in the room with us. I could not get in a single word to discuss the negative things I was feeling physically, and I could not have felt more alien in that moment. I remember leaving that day fuming on the inside, and could barely even walk afterwards. This man made me so uncomfortable with his presence that it literally made me sick to my stomach. The third physical therapist was the one I saw on my final session during my release evaluation. This man was the only one who could have given any care about my situation and increasing pain levels, and spent an adequate amount of time with me to discuss what I've been feeling and what the next steps to take would be. While I still left that final session completely disheartened and in infinitely worse shape than when I started my first session, my experience with him was at least the most pleasant of the 3 practitioners. One more side note: In previous physical therapy visits at other locations in the past, the assistants and therapists always did manual deep tissue massage on the areas that were being treated. Over here, it seems the common practice was to just bring out a massage gun and use that. I literally do that home daily. I'm not going to these places to get treatment that I can quite literally do on myself. I'm going because I need someone who absolutely knows what they're doing to dig in and do manual massage and treatment for the injury. So until they incorporate that into their practice, then you should probably save your time, money and wellbeing. Unless you're cool with complete medical apathy and severe lack of regular 1 on 1 assessment, then this is not the place to be. Overall, 10/10 DO NOT recommend. F**k this place. read more

I love this PT office. Michelle(front office) and Ori & Priscilla (the PTs) were always kind and welcoming. The consistent and gentle routine I learned there taught me to take care of myself and my knees recovered after 8 weeks. Whenever the PTs asked about my pain levels at the beginning of my appointments, I could tell that there was genuine concern. I loved coming here every week - it was like a relaxing spa trip. read more

The one star they get is for the super friendly receptionist. The first time I got referred here was 2014 when I had knee surgery. The therapist immediately told me all about her miserable life using profanity. I went a second time, not much better. I never went back and rehabbed myself. Fast forward 8 years. Imagine my apprehension when I get referred here again! This time for my shoulder. I dislocated my shoulder in a fall. After an ER visit and orthopedist visit I was referred again. Although I had serious doubts I decided to give them a try, maybe it's changed. Not!! Again, same receptionist. Super friendly. The service stops there. My therapist was an older guy who obviously is not happy to be here. He was not rude but just indifferent. He did not really do an assessment and just asked me a few questions. I was then given 2 exercises to do while he disappeared. I could have been doing them incorrectly and not getting the benefit, or worse, I could have been causing more harm! He came back and showed me something else to do and disappeared again. My orders were for passive range of motion or assisted range of motion which means exactly what it says. Passive..they are hands on moving my limb and assisted, in which they are helping move my limb. He then gave me two sheets of paper with the movements I just did and told to make an appointment. Nope. This therapist is not interested in helping people. Perhaps he was all in when he first became a therapist but not the case now. I don't expect a red carpet treatment. This guy never cracked a smile, checked on me to see how I'm doing, or explained anything let alone show any interest. His demeanor was unfriendly and disinterested. Maybe it's just boredom. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money here. I knew I did not want to come here based on past experience but gave them a try anyway. I never came back. I did my research and asked other folks of any experiences and narrowed it down to a few places and got a referral to one of my preferred. The difference is night and day. I am improving every week and have a group of wonderful therapists who obviously are invested in my recovery. I absolutely do not recommend this place which also goes by name of Managed Care Rehab. read more

Carrie is such an amazing front desk receptionist. They are efficient and hospitable in every manner. They always treat me with friendly attitudes, even when busy and crowded. The doctor is always present. PTs and assistants are awesome. read more

Went here had 11 visits and for all visits only did 3 things never kicked it up a notch to build muscle. 12 minutes on bike, rocked back and forth on a plastic thing stretched my calves, ball between knees and pressed, same and leg lifts. Then hooked up to electrode stimulation and same every visit. No benefit to my knee and now knee giving out again. I do not recommend them at all. Worst ever read more

Not impressed with this Physical Therapist. The front office and the PT assistant were the best. Front office followed ALL Covid guidelines. The assistant administering the treatment was amazing when allowed to do what she is certified to do. The PT calls the shots and I got iced and a Tens unit on 4 occasions. 1 massage and 3 exercises one time. If you're looking for help to improve the quality of you'd life. DONT GO HERE. read more

Such great empathy, care, and personality from the entire crew at Managed Care Rehab. I've been to other larger facilities that didn't even offer the services the ladies do here. One of the highlights of my week is chatting and laughing while I get my treatment done (complications from a disc bulge on my C5/C6) which includes body mechanic exercises, massage, TENS machine, warmth/cold for muscle strain/spasm/tension, etc. I'm gonna be so sad the day my sessions are over, they make the experience that enjoyable. I started my physical therapy this morning. With my normal anxiety, I opened the door and was greeted by the amazingly kind receptionist I'd spoken to on the phone a few times. Signing in was a breeze, she took my insurance and got everything settled--and right then my Physical Therapist walked in--happy that she made it before my appointment with the traffic. I, not knowing what to expect, filled out the paperwork and then was told that I could go back to meet with my specialist. The whole time she spoke to me with care, compassion, and explained what each motion she was having me do was for. She explained what she was finding, had me do a grip test which showed I had lost a lot of strength in my one arm (and got me a little despondent) but she (my PT'ist) reassured me that she has seen much worse and I am on the right path. I felt and feel that I am in good hands. I look forward to my continued appointments and healing at the skilled hands and knowledge of the Physical Therapist. She was a true comfort amidst my pain. read more

Went to therapy here and MAN the guy who is giving people the physical therapy is a real donkey if you know what I mean! He verbally abuses the patients and is just one big bully! I couldn't believe my eyes when he tried to embarrass this lady by going out to the waiting room and had her "learn" the name of the nerve that's in pain! What is he getting paid to do then!? You can hear him talk down to people and its just makes you cringe hearing him talk like that. I hope he doesn't treat the employees the same way he treats the patients because that would be an HR nightmare. read more

Absolutely NOT! This office is greedy for money. I have dual Ins., excellent health insurance coverage, probably one of the best (A Federal Hlth Plan) and full, excellent Auto Ins. Mid Valley PT want their copays up front when they know they will get paid. Such greedy pigs these days. It's a shame they are really denying health services which is technically illegal in CA. I have located another Ofc who have absolutely billing each of my insurances and not expect me to fork out my copays three times a week for 16 weeks. I would not refer Mid Valley PT to anyone! read more

This business also called "Managed Care Rehab" is fantastic! I was nervous about taking my teenager since there were not a lot of reviews on Yelp & I always use Yelp as my go to. They have provided my daughter with excellent care! She had rotator cuff surgery and the PT was a woman super caring and careful! We're so lucky we got to come here, all PT's have been super kind and the receptionist too! Nothing but good things to say about it! read more

I have been to many different clinics throughout the years, including chiropractic clinics, and the mid-Valley Physical Therapy Managed Care Rehab Clinic in Valencia is the best by far! They are actually able to make you feel better. It starts with the office manager/receptionist/do-it-all Ms. Amazing lady named Michelle. She's the bomb! She's so very efficient and affable all I can say is she gets 5-stars! Their therapy staff, Michelle, Priscilla, Diane, etc. are equally wonderful. They all truly care about their patients and do a fantastic job caring for us. The place is very laid-back and stress-free: perfect for patients who require a low-key, stress-free place. Mid-Valley P.T. has been a life changing experience. They have made it possible for me to live without pain! More recently I was involved in a serious car accident. Due to major tissue damage the staff there provides massage therapy I've never found ANYWHERE else. As soon as you walk through the door the receptionist (Michelle) is very kind and knows her way around the office. I absolutely LOVE these Physical Therapist's (Jolene is MY favorite) They are miracle workers! Last but not least, there's Irete. I wasn't impressed with this place in the least. Their office is extremely small Only a couple of machines. Patients have to stop what they're doing and move in order for you to pass by them. Staff was nice. Actual physical therapy was almost nonexistent. Gave me PT instruction sheet in Spanish. Said that's all they have. The dressing room was an office/break room. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else. read more

Irit and her staff are the most professional and courteous people in the field of physical therapy. I had an injury to my wrist and I couldn't perform my job of data entry computer processing. After just one treatment from Irit, my wrist was healed and no more pain. I also had a sports injury with knee swelling and loss of motion. Irit and her professional staff worked wonders in just five treatments. I can run again! Clearly, this is the Best physical therapy office in the Santa Clarita Valley. read more
