This was my first visit to this dental office, and I was extremely pleased with the care and service I received. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and thorough in addressing my dental needs. Their kindness immediately put me at ease, soothing my anxiety and assuring me that I was in good hands. Dr. Kasra and his team provided comprehensive care during my visit. The examination was thorough, and the treatment plan was explained clearly, which gave me great confidence in their expertise. Dr. Kasra is not only highly skilled but also easy to talk to and understand. A special thank-you to Dr. Kasara's assistant who was absolutely amazing! She did a phenomenal job explaining everything and made the experience even more enjoyable with her friendly conversation and caring attitude. I especially appreciate that they never seem to overbook, and I've never had to wait. I have been a loyal customer to Dr. Fine (great dentist) for 15 years, but ever since he moved and is under new management, the office experience is not the same! For starters, the two young women receptionists are rude, unprofessional, and do not know how to run a successful dental business. One of them came back during my cleaning to insist that it is time for me to get x-rays AGAIN (just got them a year and a half ago). When I replied no, she wouldn't let it go and stated that it is policy to get x-rays done every year. We went back and forth, and it got so uncomfortable that my nice dental hygienist reassured me not to worry and that ultimately it is my decision. It is not the receptionist's job to push x-rays down my throat. NO means no! I would have never been treated like this by the old staff. They were like family, but the new management fired them all. HUGE MISTAKE! Ever since Cindry was let go, nothing runs smoothly in there!!! (When I first inquired where Cindry was, I was told over and over again that Cindry "retired") LIES!!! My entire family had the same terrible experience months ago, and they all left already- thinking I was insane for staying. Although it is nothing personal against Dr. Fine, I will now have to find a new dental practice that is HONEST, honors their commitments to longtime staff members, and does not force me to get x-rays! read more

I can't say enough good things about this dental office. I was really nervous walking in because it had been years since my last visit, and honestly, I was scared of being judged. From the moment I arrived, though, the staff made me feel welcome, at ease, and completely comfortable. The kindness and professionalism they showed took away all the embarrassment I'd been carrying. The entire team was so friendly and explained every step thoroughly, which really helped ease my anxiety. I never once felt rushed or dismissed--they genuinely cared about making sure I understood what was happening and felt comfortable throughout the process. I visited NDA today for the first time, following my dentist of 30 years Dr Kogen who was the real deal, to this practice. I was met by the very attentive ( I guess receptionist Felon and Jessica - very knowledgeable) and immediately knew I was in a very professional dentist office. Ricky, the RDA was great, walked through everything and explained the process of teeth cleaning (like I needed that- twice a year for 65 years). Very genuine conversation and a lot of comfortable laughs.... down to business , Dr Cruz cleaned my teeth and too was very genuine and caring. Dr Kogen, my Dentist of 30 was able to visit as his finger was injured but is making great recovery. Bottom line........NDA was very professional, caring and most of all a very genuine dental practice. Not very common these days. For a long time I've always had dental issues, I've visited several specialists and Newhall Dental Arts has been my saving grace. I was recommended by the amazing Dr. Karsa Tajik a Cosmetic and Anti-Aging Dentistry who alongside the very helpful and amazing Ricky Gongora fitted 3 crowns. The experience from the start to finish is one of a kind, Ricky Gongora explained every step in detail allowing me to feel at ease with each process regarding the crowns. They are truly perfectionists in their craft making sure my new crowns felt and matched my old teeth. The staff and reception are always friendly and are easy to talk to, it feels nice knowing how much they care about the work they do. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has had trouble finding a good dentist or has had a troubling experience with the staff. It's a great feeling knowing you are in good hands. read more

Been a patient of Dr. Fine for 30 plus years. I chipped a tooth and was able to get an appt. to fix it within a reasonable amount of time. Dr. Fine was not available so I saw Dr. Sustento. This is the 1st time I saw him. He was wonderful, very nice and funny and he sings while he is working. He did a great job on my tooth. The only problem is that they made me wait until they were able to verify insurance before they would begin work and that prolonged the procedure and Dr. Sustento kept having to go to work on other people. He was very apologetic for the time it took. Other than that the assistants and the office staff were very nice and helpful. I would be happy to have Dr. Sustento work on me again if the need arises. read more

The hygienist was great, she went slow as I tend to be very anxious during my visits. She was gentle as possible while scaling. She would pause and allow me to close my mouth, as that can be very uncomfortable. Dr. Kaz is amazing, he has been my dentist for 10 years. He takes my anxiety into account when he does the exam and any type of procedures. Good thing is that Dr. Kaz is young and won't retire for a very long time. My daughter that lives in Colorado makes it a point to make an appointment when she is in town. She refuses to see any other dentist. He will definitely be my baby granddaughter 's first dentist, she has a mouthful of teeth and molars at the age of 18 months. Get ready Dr. Kaz for her. read more

Dr. Fine and all staff are simply amazing! I've had several procedures here for the last year and a half, from regular cleaning visits, fillings to crowns (which I have been dreading forever). In fact, I am happy to come from Pasadena to be treated here where I receive reliable dental care, and leave with peace of mind. They know what they are doing and everyone treats you very kindly and professionally. The office is nice and well-equipped. Very importantly, I appreciate their high standards and honesty, you get the procedures you need, no more no less. Best cleaning and filling experience I've ever had. The dental hygienist was very thorough with the cleaning it probably took over an hour. Thankfully their dental chair has massage function. They also did my X-rays and said I have some cavities. I was traveling and wanted to get this out of the way. Dr Tajik for me between the patients and took care of them. He was very penitent and through yet very fast and professional with the fillings, minimizing the discomfort. I hope I have never cavities again but if I do I know where I'll go. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Fine's since 1980 and my family is as well. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The transition to Newhall Dental Arts has been seamless in my opinion. I've seen several of the "new" dentists and feel comfortable with all of them. Jennifer who handles my cleanings is excellent and has a great disposition making me feel very comfortable during the process. I always feel that I am in good hands and excellent care at Newhall Dental Arts. I wouldn't have any reservations recommending this office to anyone. read more

Jennifer, the dental hygienist, is by far the best. She is knowledgeable, kind, caring, an educator, and really nice. Dr. Fine is always so friendly, never in a rush, and let's you know what is happening with your teeth. I will be sad when I retire because Newhall Dental Arts does not accept Medicare Delta Dental Insurance. Since I am still working and pay for the dental coverage my job offers and the Medicare. I have been seeing Dr. Fine all my life, he is an outstanding dentist. I say that because whenever I have dental issues with my teeth he does such a good job every time and I always feel like a new man. He is professional, gentle and his staff is an extension of his outshining professionalism. Dr. Fine has been my dentist for the past 25-30 years and has always been wonderful. Whether it's been a scheduled appointment and/or emergency - we've been very happy with Dr. Fine, his assistant and the hygienists.
