    Ristra decorative wreath

Beautiful Ristra's for cooking and decor. They had the gorgeous wreaths with dried chile and flowers that you find in Sante Fe. Nowhere else has them.

Honey specialty shop. Attendant allowed honey tasting. A little pricey but the pretty amber colors in the small jars are good gift ideals.

We love this shop. Our first visit was in the summer, when we stocked up. We especially enjoyed the combination of mountain wildflower, desert wildflower and bee pollen, which is great natural immunity defense & allergy relief. Also got mixed sets of honeys, for gifts our friends loved. Recently was passing thru Santa Fe again and resupplied... got honey infused with Osho for when we have cold symptoms. And buckwheat honey, mountain wildflower & bee pollen for mixing together for additional antioxidants. The owner is extremely personable, helpful, and devoted to sharing wonderful raw honeys with his customers! https://www.benefits-of-honey.com/buckwheat-honey.html

What an incredible store! Gadiel let us try 10-15 different flavors and they were all out of this world. If you're in town this little boutique is a must! My personal favorite honey flavors were cactus and lavender.

CBD infused honey! Added it to some hot tea and slept like a baby. Wonderful product! Worth every penny.

Yesterday I had the day off so I decided to finally pop into this adorable honey shop. I was so glad I did!! I immediately saw that they had CBD infused honey. I sampled some and oh my god, it was the best honey I'd ever tasted. I bought a 10.5 ounce jar and that evening curled up in bed with a hot cup of tea sweetened with this delicious CBD honey. I felt so wonderfully relaxed and slept like a baby! I can tell that I got my money's worth of CBD and quality honey made with love. I'd highly recommend stopping in! The guy working there was super friendly and I think going there to taste honey would make a really fun date activity. Five stars for sure! It was a day off well spent.

A few of the great products: honey candle, beeswax bar, Honey Lavender soap, bee pollen and local Chama raw & unfiltered honey.

I recently moved to Santa Fe and my allergies have been crazy. Several locals informed me that eating raw "local" honey would be very beneficial. I found the Santa Fe Honey Salon--on the corner of St. Francis and Paseo de Peralta. Its hard to miss the stand with the free honey samples sign. I didn't realize that the small house on the lot is the Honey Salon and Farm Shop which was recently established (just 2 months ago) by Gadiel and his wife Martha. The honey comes from their family owned farm and this is the young couple's spin-off business. There are over 24 varieties of honey (local and exotic) and only raw and organic for optimum nutrition. Customers are welcomed enthusiastically and invited to partake in a honey tasting sampling. Gadiel and Martha are very informative and have already expanded their product line to include bee pollen, beeswax candles, honey drinks, honey comb, soaps and organic skin products by local, Shea By Shay. Gadiel advised me that the best way to treat allergies is to start with a few grains of the bee pollen and gradually building up to a teaspoon a day. I couldn't resist the beeswax bar (similar to cocoa butter), candle, soap and honey (of course). I love everything and I do feel that I'm breathing easier after taking the bee pollen for a few days. The products are great (all made by Gadiel and Marta), reasonably priced and customers are treated with hospitality and great service!

The name of this shop succinctly describes its wares. Going in and spending time with its hospitable owner, Gadiel, will likely dramatically improve appreciation of the diversity of honey, and lead to a few unique purchases. Like a cottage, the cozy shop is entered through a patio. Inside, merchandise is simply displayed: honey in a spectrum of golden and brown hues and in various sized jars, marked only with cryptic symbols (a card decodes some of these), nuts (some in honey), infused honey sauces, body care and aromatherapy products, and candles. The heart of this shop lies in the tasting station to the left. Here, Gadiel patiently provided us samples of many of the honeys and sauces, displaying impressive knowledge about the multiple varietals available, over a dozen, which may vary seasonally. This interaction, more than anything else, makes visiting a wonderful experience. The tasting may yield surprises. We tasted a fascinating honeydew honey, made not from flower nectar but from the byproducts of aphids eating tree sap. A request for unusual led to honeys with interesting flavors, such as malt, butter, herbal, and molasses. The taste of bee pollen was memorable. And the pistachios marinated in orange blossom honey and green chile were ridiculously good. Note that Gadiel believes strongly in the health benefits of honey and bee pollen. As a health care professional, I am not apt to accept health benefits without better proof, but others may differ. A few cold and hot tea drinks using honey are also offered (samples happily given); the cold ones are refreshing, their sweetness well balanced. Purchases can be shipped domestically for a very reasonable cost. This can easily lead to a few more purchases, as these products make terrific gifts. A great place to visit for most. Certainly those who appreciate honey will love this charming shop. But those with limited exposure to honey's flavor possibilities can learn a lot here. There are two parking lots with entrances on Juanita St, the one closer to Paseo de Peralta being best for smaller cars, and the other able to fit larger vehicles but maneuvering may be difficult if there are more than a couple of cars.

Let me just start by saying I LOVE HONEY! This honey salon was AMAZING. The proprietor/bee keeper was so kind and genuinely loves honey and is passionate about his bees. I began my adventure at the honey salon tasting a variety of honeys and bee products, from Chile pistachios in honey to chocolate infused honey! I even had the chance to try bee pollen. Probably one of my favorites. This is a little shop producing and providing honey locally. You will find nothing but the best true honey, and the cutest spunkiest bee keeper. I learned so much about the production of honey and I believe many will find it interesting as well. If your ever in Santa Fe you MUST stop in and try some honey (taste at your own risk)... it's addicting, but at the very least pick up a bottle of honey to remember your time. Did I mention I was visiting from San Francisco! And they ship there honey as well!!

A broad variety of honeys. You can puchase nice gift cases with a mixed variety. Make for great gifts!

The most over priced store I've ever been in. It's just honey, why charge triple the price anyone can purchase it elsewhere?
