[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely atmosphere and kind staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great seating inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a great selection of food and drinks as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the stuffed trout and while it needed some seasoning, it was fresh and good. Love the side salad that comes with it too.

I had the smoked salmon tartine and it was delicious. Came with lovely salad too. Very light and fresh and beautiful to behold as my first meal of the day at this amazing restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sat outside by the seated fountain. Lovely location and great staff too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's a hidden gem! Good selection of food & drinks. We tried empanada carne and steak salad plus Chimichurri fries. The empanada was ok, the steak salad was perfect choice for something light with meat, too bad that we received it well done instead of medium rare request. The fries were too salty for my taste. Overall it is a good restaurant especially if you are tired of Mexican food while in Santa Fe

My first visit here was amazing! I was visiting for house hunting and was told to visit this wonderful gem of a place. The panquques are delicious and so are the empanadas! Cannot go wrong with any of them! (Though I do have my favorites ) Our server was a wonderful lady as well! Came with my S/O of course too, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we were so pleased to see that it's such an inviting atmosphere that's also dog friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We immediately came here once we officially moved a month later, and we saw the same server and she remembered us! [[HIGHLIGHT]]How can you not love a place so warm and inviting with such phenomenal staff?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'm reviewing Cafecito as my first spot of 2025 because for me, it was a good reminder of something that I'm trying to focus on, which is it's OK to treat yourself sometimes. Like seriously even if you're going out it alone, we all deserve a beautiful meal every once in a while. I came to Cafecito solo before a work event. I don't spend much time in Santa Fe. You know how it is living in Albuquerque even though it's pretty close it's not always top of mind. Anyways, I've been through Cafecito before, but never for a full meal. One perk of coming somewhere alone is it's often much easier to get a seat. Anyways, I sat down and just enjoyed the environment. It's very open and filled with life. I ordered the Argentine Way with a croissant and the skirt steak, as well as both the jam and the dulce de Leche. It was such a beautiful meal and so simple. I also ordered a latte and that was amazing as well. Service was very friendly. Truly, everything was great. The definition of five stars.

Another excellent meal, today PERUVIAN ROAST CHICKEN and Stuffed Trout, both superb. Great service too. Went at 11 AM just as lunch started, easy to park and get in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]By the time we left, it was packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend the trout, it was outstanding!

September 5, 2025 is my first visit to this loveliest establishment. I'm in Santa Fe visiting family. My Google search for breakfast places near me brought me here. There is good parking nearby. Some in their parking lot and some on the street. If you haven't been here before, the streets wind around a little bit and you may feel like you're lost but stay with your GPS and keep your eyes open. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent building design with big windows and nice natural light.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is both inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is friendly and accommodating. I came at midmorning, so there was no wait to have breakfast. I chose the empanada and will say I was very impressed. The pastry is thin and delicate, and the inside is packed with a mixture of meats, potatoes and eggs. The chimichurri sauce is a welcome addition to this lovely food. It was very fun to have a little salad on the plate for breakfast! The orange juice was refreshing and delicious and I really like their coffee. Prices are very good.

Had breakfast here and everything was delicious. Plenty of seating inside and out, great service. Our server even told us how certain things were prepared, hand chopping versus blender so leaves would not get bruised for the chimichurri. .

We arrived about 1130am on Sunday and the business was jumpin'! Our server, Rayna, took our order for drinks promptly and delivered our crème de leche, butter and breads (croissant and focaccia was buttery goodness, glutenized), coffees and a green drink. She took our order for a Argentinian Steak Salad, a breakfast empanadas, Lomito Completo, and an order of Gramajo Revuelto. All were so flavorful, cooked perfectly, and presented in a manner which was appetizing (the Gramajo Revuelto is a bit of melty, spicy, green mess.) Rayna and the rest of the service staff didn't miss a beat. Our party bought a couple of jars of Dulce de Leche to take home so we could try and recreate the experience (good luck!) The Barrista was so cool and loved chatting. We'll definitely be back! Give Cafecito a go!

Such a hidden gem! Heading out to Santa Fe for lunch with my GF was well worth the trip. We arrived separately and I was seated in a sunny part of the restaurant. It was perfect as the weather still had a chill,in the air. Lots of natural light fills this cafe. The sun rays gave warmth to the space. We ordered hibiscus tea, hot. Tea was just what we needed to warm up. I later ordered the avocado toast. My egg was cooked as I liked it ...hard scrambled. My plate arrived with a beautiful green salad on the side which complemented my avocado toast. Perfect meal for lunch. Our wait staff was attentive but also gave us our space to enjoy the atmosphere and conversation. I have added this place as a nice stop when looking for new places to bring a friend.

The employees/baristas and customers were so friendly here! I'm from San Diego and was visiting Santa Fe for a week with my family. I tried to sample many of the coffee shops in town and this one stood out for its friendly service and warm atmosphere, plus quality coffee. I ordered the horchata latte and it was delicious! However, it didn't seem very strong coffee-wise (I believe my latte had two shots of espresso?), so I had to come back like an hour later to get a second one to satisfy my caffeine needs. The breakfast/brunch options looked amazing and were reasonably priced, but during our stay we did not end up eating here...we simply ran out of time! The space is within a shared work building right off the street, walkable from where we were staying and close enough to walk to the Plaza. I enjoyed walking here on a few mornings and getting the feel of what it might be like to be a local in town, while scanning the many clothing and other types of shops along the way. Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte.

The café has a cool, modern vibe with plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor patio. They were very busy on a Saturday morning. The counter staff was very matter-of-fact. Not rude, but not especially warm or welcoming either. Honestly, I got the impression she was just under a lot of stress. We also asked another staff member if we could use one of the patio umbrellas (they were all closed for some reason), and he was prompt and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, a meat-filled empanada, a honey latte, and a cold brew. The cold brew was a little too dark for my taste, though coffee preferences are definitely subjective. Interestingly, there's a place in Albuquerque that has an almost identical flavor profile. The toasted everything bagel was very good, but it didn't come with quite enough cream cheese. The single cream cheese packet also felt a bit lackluster presentation-wise. That said, when we asked for more, the response was friendly and accommodating. The honey latte had beautiful latte art and great flavor, definitely a highlight. The empanada, filled with ground beef, green chile, and piñon, was a bit over-toasted, but the filling itself was flavorful, even if somewhat sparse. Overall, I think 35 North has a lot going for it and could easily elevate the experience with a few small improvements to consistency and customer service.

I also care about the vibe of a place, so the breakdown is 5-star coffee drinks, but ho-hum 3-star service, hence the 4-star review instead of the 5 I would've loved to have reported here. The place is a few blocks from where we stayed and was easy to walk to and find, knowing I'd be looking for a sign with a few animals on it and it may not be obvious to some that this business is a coffee shop. I ordered the Crash of Rhinos, which fits their clever theme. The drink was just sweet enough and unique and flavorful. However, when we walked in, there was no barista or anyone at the front to greet us; we didn't mind waiting a minute or two for someone to show up since it was clearly open and there were a couple customers inside (and duh, we were on vacation and not in a hurry). When the nose-ringed hipster-looking girl came around the corner I was disappointed that we were not greeted with a smile or a good morning, or "sorry to keep you waiting" kind of phrase. She took our order, made our drinks, and did not say thank you (I did, and tipped her $2. Why, I'm not sure). That was that. Hubs ordered the spicy mocha drink and it was a bit much; he decided it would be better iced or he'd try a different selection next time. Yes, there was a next time. Different barista, same kind of treatment. Still tipped just because I was a barista for many years and know this really helps supplement a worker's salary and encourage good communication with customers. This time I ordered the Murmuration of Starlings latte, which has rosemary, thyme, and cardamom notes. It was delicious but similar to the Crash of Rhinos drink. The third time we visited we entered through the Chocolate and Cashmere shop next door. I found it funny that the nose ring barista girl happened to be in that shop talking to the girl who worked there, but when we walked in, she quickly exited back to the coffee shop to sit with the other barista at a table in the coffee shop. The chocolate shop girl was so sweet and we even visited their location in the Plaza a day later and she was just as nice, even though that day we did not make a purchase. Overall I do recommend Crash Murder Business for their coffee drinks, but don't expect friendly service. (If you're looking for that, go to Iconik up the street!) Just because you work at a coffee shop and you have a cool haircut does not make you above others. Especially when small businesses work to please their customers and should encourage their return. Kind of a shame...but I would still go back for the coffee if I were ever in town again.
