I would first like to say that Nicholas has a great set-up as far as where we met for our therapy sessions. He works out of his home, so there are options to have therapy sessions with him indoors, out in his amazing backyard, or while walking around nearby natural areas in his neighborhood. This ability to have options in terms of environment was really helpful for me as his client. One of the things I appreciated about Nicholas' approach as a therapist is that he was very versatile when it came to working with me. Sometimes he simply listened to me empathetically, sometimes he connected me to pertinent resources/articles, sometimes we role-played, and sometimes he offered perspective from his own personal experience--all of which were helpful. He was able to adapt to my needs on an ongoing basis, which I think is a sign of a skilled therapist.
