Stopped in here for lunch and was not disappointed! The restaurant is clean and inviting with beautiful decor and friendly staff. The good. I ordered the Texas fajita lunch special and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The salsa was the best I've had in the south. The bad. Really nothing. Everything came out quickly and the waitress was attentive. I'd definitely recommend Santa Fe! The ugly. This was a huge portion of delicious food for about $12. Owner and bartender were very rude and combative. Place was dead and looked dirty. They charged me extra for Togo chips for my cheese dip. They said it was because I didn't spend enough. Lunch #22 chicken chimi with chicken enchilada is EPIC!!! It was absolutely PERFECT. Generally I prefer my own chimi's & I'm not a huge fan of enchiladas but I cleaned my plate! Chips were well done, corn tortilla (I prefer the light flour chips) but the salsa made up for it. A bit on the spicier side & great flavor. We almost didn't come because of the reviews but when we drove by the parking lot was packed. I'm SO glad we stopped! The sweet tea was a little weak but still good. The lettuce did NOT have the horrible chemical flavor most seems to have lately. All in all, this is our new favorite lunch Mexican! read more

This place has really gone down hill. A "B" food service rating on the door. Bathrooms smell like pee and are beyond nasty. Cockroaches in the corners. Food was overcooked, appeared old (warmed over - crusty). The place was empty. I ordered two chicken burritos with beans and rice (would be $10 in any other Mexican restaurant). Waiter charged me a-la-carte for each item separately. With a $4 beer it came to close to $30. When I brought it up to the lady at the register she "puffed up" on me and got argumentative. Just a bit ago was my first visit to this establishment, and it will be debatable whether I'll be back. Make no mistake, this restaurant is very colorful, clean and furnishings are BEAUTIFUL, however food was VERY sub par, and I'm being generous. I am vegetarian and ordered a taco salad without meat, expecting something more than a taco shell full of lettuce and sour cream...no beans to be found, and when I asked for some, I was charged extra for bean dip. The food was good. But they didn't bring out what o ordered. Everyone got there food before me and my food was sitting on the side for about 8 mins before the waiter gave it me. Our drinks never got refilled . We had to ask twice to get more water. They didn't refill our chip and salsa either. Yes they were busy and we were a party of 11. Been there before neverva problem but last night I was very dissatisfied with the service . And I never got my whole order. ;( read more

The people here are super nice and friendly. The music is great and the prices are super cheap. I don't know where that other reviewer is getting his Mexican but this is cheap. They have a menu online on their website, so check it out. Cheap drinks! I'm giving them 4 stars because its a tad dated. They could use a little more upkeep. Maybe spice up the bar area. More TVs and better lighting. Every time I have been here the bar area is pretty empty. Take out is great. read more

I ate at Santa Fe Mexican restaurant tonight don't anybody judge this food as being Tex-Mex it's not it's not even close I'm originally from Texas born and raised there and lived in California for a few years this food doesn't even come close to representing tex-mex. The enchiladas literally had no flavor and The taco was very bland too. The rice had very little flavor it didn't come with beans so I ordered them on the side they were very very salty, I won't be back. read more

Ate dinner there on Friday July 6th we had a large group of 11 people the restaurant was crowded which is understandable but the service was horrible. Our waiter rolled his eyes at us literally ignoring us our drinks did not got filled the food was mediocre at best. I'm from southern California, and know what to expect from a Mexican food restaurant. Does Santa fe qualify? Hardly. A taco is too much ground beef with too much grated cheese. No onions, no cilantro, no cabbage. And a burrito is exactly the same, but wrapped. But the food, while unexciting and fairly bland, is consistent and reasonably priced. read more

Horrible service, do not go here! Arrived 20 minutes before lunch closed, and attempted to order. Waitress delayed and delayed taking our order, until 3:01 when she advised that as it is now 3 we would have to pay dinner rates. We declined, and instead of apologizing for the poor service the manager demanded payment for the chips that had been brought out without our requesting them. Will never be back. read more
