Anyway; I wanted a very heavy out-of-print book that was priced better here than anywhere else, and particularly since Photo-Eye's copy was in "new" condition. I ordered the book online, but I had a question and called them the next morning. The woman I spoke to - who was actually located in the store - was very pleasant and helpful. The book arrived today and it's in perfect condition, plus it was incredibly well-packed. (Update on 3/2/16): It's four years later and their mail order service is still *outstanding*. Occasionally I order books from them and all aspects are always terrific. Today I called to ask a question about a pending order, and the young guy I spoke to (Christian) was *incredibly* friendly. First, let me say, of any video game store that I have been in in the past couple of years, this staff truly seems to care about customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and treated very nicely. They answered all of my questions without hesitation. I was looking for a video game for my husband as a gift, but didnt have a specific one in mind. They assisted me in finding something that he would truly love and I ended up coming home with a game that I had never heard of. It ended up being one of the games that he had been wanting for years. I went back months later, this time with my husband in tow. We were greeted and treated very kindly this time as well. All questions were answered and the staff and my husband engaged in a lively conversation. I ended up with a nice Retro 51 Tornado in with a very cool custom Red Chile Ristra pattern. The folks here were super nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and low pressure. I could have done more retail damage, but was more than happy to slowly leave with a pen that I really enjoyed trying out and looking at.

Some time ago I bought a $200+ Gallagher rodent trap that did not work and reported this to a store clerk. He replied that I was the only one who had made such a claim. I later learned that an Eldorado friend had complained about her non-functioning trap to the same clerk and he told her the same thing. Sometime later, I returned to the store to complain about the trap not working. The clerk admitted that a number of these traps were indeed malfunctioning and was told that they were waiting for parts. I regularly checked in over the weeks and was told each time that they were still waiting for parts. Some time later, I returned to the store, and the clerk took a look to see if he could fix it. After checking in with him over the next few weeks, he finally called to say he had repaired it. However, I soon discovered that the canister part was still leaking. Some time later, I returned to the store and spoke with Steve. who gave me the number to the manufacturer to call and arrange a shipment and exchange. At that time, Steve stated that he takes care of his customers. When I called, the manufacturer rep asked why the store wasn't handling this. I realized that I, a regular customer, was caught in a shipment war between Steve and the manufacturer. Not cool. Some time later, I returned to the store and spoke with the clerk, who took my faulty trap and added it to a box containing other parts and traps behind the counter. He said that they were going to ship it to the manufacturer for exchanges. Finally, the issue with my expensive purchase would be resolved. Not so. Some time later, I returned to the store and noticed that the box was still behind the counter, weeks later. I asked the clerk about it, and he said they were still arguing over who would pay for the shipment. I wrote to Steve last week that it is well past time for him to either replace my purchase with a working trap, reimburse my purchase, or credit me the $200+. I've not heard back.
