We're from Houston and every Christmas we come here, and we've always been satisfied, that's why we keep coming back. But this year is different and probably our last, the usual synchronized music and lights are gone, which made the very short drive very boring, the whole experience in the past was longer, this year they've only opened a quarter of what it used to in the past, it was just one very short loop. even if I live in the area, this is not worth the $30 they're charging, maybe $5 per vehicle, will be ok. This was a pretty legit operation. The light show is overcrowded by cars, but I understand why. They have an accompanying radio station that has a weird Christmas techno beat (but it works; also they Christmas trees in front flash to the beat of the music). Santa land was a pioneer in this industry back in the day. Over the years it's only gotten better and more convenient. During the holiday season if you're traveling down at 20 in the Tyler and Lindale area you will see how popular this is by the more than a mile long line of cars waiting to get in to enjoy the sights sounds and smells of the festivities. read more

Love this place! Great, fun entertainment for the kids! Plan your trip wisely, as people start lining up an hour before opening. The line moves pretty quickly though. They also have attendants directing traffic and assigning parking spots at the gift shop. Restroom is fairly clean, although when we used it, the ladies room ran out of soap. Yikes! read more

This was a great experience for the kids & even adults. The line was long but went by super fast! They also had a set up for Pictures with Santa behind a plexi glass due to covid rules. I love that they included Jesus in the lights & saluted troops as well. Great for the whole family! read more

Eh... The kids liked it. Some of the lights were beautiful, I will say that. But, overall, I did not really enjoy it. Being in a vehicle blocks your view of most of the lights. It would be much better as a walk through park, if you had an hour and a half to spare, haha. At the beginning there was a sign that tells you to tune in to 92.7. But there is no music going. Then, before you get into the real lights, there's a sign telling you to turn it off. People love lights that are synchronized with music, why can't that be implemented? The gift shop was not very nice, either. Some cool stuff, but mostly small trinkets. There's a very small area for children's toys, but the toys are lame and overpriced. I wouldn't return even for half price. read more

This is a cool little place.they did a amazing job on the lights.i just think 25.00 dollars is a little much.i guess if you have car load of people it's worth it.its still a place you need to check out once if you have never been.if you go it's a good idea to get there early because the line will get backed up.we got there about a hour before it opened and had no problem getting in. I went there right before Christmas. I absolutely loved it. I sat almost an hour waiting to get in, I still loved it. As soon as I drove in I saw a shop that you can purchase nicknacks at but I waited until after the drive through the magical lights. It is a winding car path that takes you to many different themed zones. It last for about thirty minutes. Then you stop at the Santa land store if you want. Another thing you can do us ride a trailer ( and I mean trailer pulled by a vehicle) through the park. I will go again next year, and the next, and the next after that. I fully recommend checking this out. Make sure you potty before you get near. Also make sure you are not starving. Be prepared to spend some time doing this. It is not something to try if you are in a hurry. LOVED IT. read more

it's not even as good as it used to be. we waited 2-3 hours in a line for about a mile and a half, i was fine with it cause i remember a few years ago it was well worth it. so we waited in the line the whole few hours with our hopes up. we have been stuck a little past the cashier to get in for about 20 minutes and i'm not even exaggerating. we're not even moving an inch and we're starting to think people are picnicking. can santa land just have directors through out the trail telling people to go? this is freaking ridiculous. and as you look the reviews get worse. read more

The light display is wonderful but our family outing was ruined by gift shop staff who followed my adult daughter to our car and accused her of shoplifting. Of course this resulted in stares from other visitors, embarrassment, and humiliation. In addition to my daughter, her husband, my elderly mother, 2 teenage granddaughters, and a 2 year old were with me. We were somehow mistaken for a gang of thieves. Santa Land management will not respond to our attempts to contact them. An apology would be nice. Santa Land you are no longer the only drive through Christmas park in the area! Waiting in line to get in the gate was a complete mess! No structure whatsoever. We waited in line for 3 hours. Finally got in the park and went through the tunnel (at the beginning) and it was not working. To me the tunnel of lights is one of the coolest parts, but we didn't get to experience it. Honestly don't really think the 3 hour wait is worth it. Maybe come on the weekday and it might be worth it! read more

I loved it. The place was beautiful. I would have given 5 start if I hadn't paid 3 dollars for chips ahoy cookies that they put in little candy bags as if they were homemade. They offered other food nachos, hot chocolate etc for purchase. As well as pictures of Santa for purchase. Definitely something to do at least once. read more

The light show at Santa Land in Lindale, TX is the best around. Dancing trees as you drive through the beginning, then a mile of amazing action lights. Car bunch $20 per car. Pile em up & wait in line - IT'S WORTH IT! The Santa outside the gift shop is the BEST one around! He takes time to talk with the kids before pictures are taken, he really makes them comfortable and the pics are all taken as he makes them smile. This place is REALLY WORTH the drive. 1 1/2 for us - get a hotel and make a it a fun family night! read more

An all around great experience. The only downside was the long line to get in, but the wait was worth it! Upon entering the park, you're greeted with lights that are in sync with Christmas music.
