a christmas light display in a park

Love this place! Great, fun entertainment for the kids! Plan your trip wisely, as people start lining up an hour before opening. The line moves pretty quickly though. They also have attendants directing traffic and assigning parking spots at the gift shop. Restroom is fairly clean, although when we used it, the ladies room ran out of soap. Yikes!

This was a great experience for the kids & even adults. The line was long but went by super fast! They also had a set up for Pictures with Santa behind a plexi glass due to covid rules. I love that they included Jesus in the lights & saluted troops as well. Great for the whole family!

    Ummmmmm

Well, it was a last minute thing to drive from Dallas, for the 1.5 hour drive, it was ok. Some of the mannequins were a bit odd to us.

I went there right before Christmas. I absolutely loved it. I sat almost an hour waiting to get in, I still loved it. As soon as I drove in I saw a shop that you can purchase nicknacks at but I waited until after the drive through the magical lights. It is a winding car path that takes you to many different themed zones. It last for about thirty minutes. Then you stop at the Santa land store if you want. Another thing you can do us ride a trailer ( and I mean trailer pulled by a vehicle) through the park. I will go again next year, and the next, and the next after that. I fully recommend checking this out. Make sure you potty before you get near. Also make sure you are not starving. Be prepared to spend some time doing this. It is not something to try if you are in a hurry. LOVED IT.

It was so small, this place is hyped up way too much! I won't be back. Camilla's mini Santa land is so much better, more lights and longer.

The absolute cutest candy, gift and sweetshop right on the middle of town!…read more You are welcomed the moment you walk in, like walking in and they know you and love that you are here. We went straight to the back of the shop to watch the production kitchen where the gentleman was actually starting a process (what we learned later) of brittle making. Intrigued, and so satisfying to watch. They have free samples peanut brittle and pecan brittle. We both agree that this is some of the best. It's not the "bust you tooth" brittle (meant your candy got too hot), it's the airy, nice crunch, full of flavor, not too sweet, hint of burnt butter brittle. Yes, yes! They nailed it. It's the brittle you start to eat, and boom the package is done. Of course we had to get brittle, and white chocolate covered nuts, too. They sell a variety of sliced pies, milkshakes and cold drinks. I bet this is the place I will be in the summer, especially for ice cream. Their storefront has not been open long, but Grandma Cleda's been making brittle for generations. You can find out more about their story when you visit their shop. Two things they do amazing: they love what they do, and do what they love! Oh and they have fabulous brittle! Love in every bite.

I figured it had to be at least ok if he's giving that kind of testimonial, so we gave it a try this year. Wow, we LOVED it. Incredibly smoky flavor and smell, but not overwhelming. The smokiness stays with you, but in a good way...I keep smelling it on my fingers for hours no matter how much handwashing you do. It arrives as described in a bag and partially frozen and as they say, you don't need to do anything and just serve room temperature. We decided to gently warm the turkey in the oven with residual heat and it was perfect. But I've also eaten it cold on sandwiches which was equally great. I'm going to use the smokey carcass to make a nice turkey soup. Turkey is well seasoned, smokey goodness and it couldn't be simpler. There's also a surprising amount of meat on a relatively small bird, part of it is they don't sell it with the wings, so it's not counted in the weight. Loved it and the family is already debating if we need to cook a turkey ever again!

The meat moist and tender down to the bones - which we wish we'd saved to cook with. Next time maybe. They help load your car if needed - such a great staff. Shared a 16 pound bird with family - then grind remaining to freeze and make the 'turkey pate' - easy wonderful dip made out of cream cheese - mayo recipe card in your box - make this and you'll never regret it - wonderful anytime of year to enjoy.
