DH ordered a burger (his go-to) and I decided on the catfish dinner with a half order of mushrooms to start. Well, as expected, the salad came out quickly but everything else followed so fast I hardly had a chance to dress the salad! The mushrooms were perfect and the ranch accompaniment tasted homemade. The potato was hot, fluffy and the fitting conduit for all the butter I heaped on. The star of the show was the catfish though. Four pieces was certainly too much and I ended up taking the excess home, but it's hard to say a mistake was made because the fish was fresh, steaming hot and sweet. Quite possibly the best I've eaten in the past 10 years. The tartar sauce was a bit heavy and I didn't care for the hush puppies at all, but those demerits aren't enough to affect the star power of the meal.
