Jaimie was incredible for keeping me in line when I was getting ahead of things and was quick to reassure me of any of my concerns. She was always available and ready for anything that came her way. Our wedding day was magical. It could not have gone any better. The building had a fresh coat of paint. The garden was in full bloom. A really well-kept picturesque property where any picture you take is social media ready. We picnicked with the food that they gave us. That was enough, really well packed and delicious. First lets start with how beautiful the property is, amazing views of the vineyard, cute quaint atmosphere, and just a great spot for an event. Now some of the things I thought about. Parking is non-existent and while there was a shuttle, it took over 20 minutes to turn around, something I think the venue owners should think about. Bathrooms were outhouses, I assume were brought in. The gravel walkway to the wedding area around the pool was problematic. I watched at least 10 senior guests not being able to get down the path and even with help it was difficult. The grass around the pool had been freshly watered, and was green and lush, but the chairs sunk into the grass. The dining tables were cramped and so difficult to eat at. I do not know if the family invited over suggested capacity, but it was definitely an issue. For a small event (50 or less) I would say this could be a great venue, any more than that, and if you have older guests, between the paths and the parking, I'd certainly consider those things.

My favorite part is that you can grab a glass and walk around the museum and see all of the local artwork along the walls and throughout the building. I was so moved to learn that it's owned by Jim Obergefell, the plaintiff in the landmark Supreme Court marriage equality case. I also love that proceeds from the wines go to support causes that uplift women, the LGBTQ+ community, and other social justice initiatives. It felt so good to know that each sip was also supporting meaningful change. Each wine has a unique name like the "19th Amendment" which is so cool. The space was filled with LGBTQ+ artwork and it is even connected to a gallery down the hall. So you can grab your glass of wine and check out art Nextdoor. Lastly, the service was amazing. I would highly recommend it for this type of service or a wedding or any large gathering. We rented the Auditorium as well as the dining room and kitchen. With that we also got a small "Family Room" which was the perfect quiet place. The Auditorium has an excellent sound system and projector. The facility is clean, attractive and comfortable. They set up chairs and tables for you. The commercial kitchen is perfect for a large dinner or potluck. Marilyn, the secretary, was amazing to work with. They don't advertise their site, but it is one of the very best in our area.

I truly loved the independent work and collections of folks there and it was lovely. The people at the register were very snarky and rude. Almost as if I was taking something but I had already provided the tag of the star I purchased. They were sure to get my items counted and paid for but did not get my bag to me until the kind blackberry Jam lady got it for me a minute later. Customer Service is important and you should work on this especially if you want to foster a spirit of community. Thank you for the Blackberry Jam and home made items I am grateful.
