This is a great stop in at the Barlow. Wide variety of drinks to choose from. Smaller inside but big back patio (covered when cooler) to enjoy outside. Staff was friendly. If hungry you can order from a few of the places nearby at the bar and they go and get it for you and bring it straight to the table.

Goat of Arms Brewery that got it's roots in literal garages of six friends back in 2012, before they moved into the current digs here at The Barlow in 2016. This is a the actual brewhouse of Crooked Goat, so all the beers are as fresh as humanly possible. They also can take direct orders from surrounding eateries that gets delivered right to your table so you can nosh and swig without having to burn any of those nasty calories. The vibe was casual, the staff was great, the beer was fantastic, and they had all sorts of games to play. There's indoor bar seating, or outdoor dog-friendly covered patio. Highly recommended if you're a beer lover. Prost!

Stopped by Crooked Goat for an after lunch round of beers. I grabbed a flight with 5 different tastes. The service was quick, though it was dead when I visited. They were brewing in the back which is always cool and there was one bartender up front. I'd recommend the Garage Beer and the Sours, though many of the other beers I got were too hoppy for my taste. If you like hoppy beers, this is your place. I could see this place being great for huge groups, events, and it was fun for my kids to have some space to play in the large outdoor areas. This is a great stop if you're in the area!

Great local brewery. Over a dozen beers on tap, 32 ounce crawlers to go, with Acre pizza and tacos.

I love this spot. Great place to relax and catch up with friends. Drinks are great. Staff is friendly. They also have a very open/industrial concept.

Awesome place for drinks! Dog friendly, i liked the menu for food options too! Fun place to play some card games!

Great place to hang out and have a beer or three. Highly recommend the Bee Beard - super easy to drink and pairs great with any of the acre pizza. Service was quick and the outside is dog friendly.

Cool vibe. Nice selection of brews! Friendly service with plenty of seating options. Don't forget the crowlers to go. I enjoyed the Garage Pilsner. Light, crisp, and cold!

We just came for beer so I can't speak to the food but the atmosphere was awesome. The place was huge with two bars, covered outdoor seating with picnic tables but also a fire pit area surrounded by couches and the the interior space on the back had couches and leather cubes to sit on- it was really cool and comfortable- the kids place you'd like to stay awhile and hang out. Our flights were good. I'm a darker beer fan and I didn't love the stout but the sour and a few fruited beers were light and drinkable. The bartender was fast and friendly and even sold us the last display sticker since they were blown out from their recent anniversary party. I'd love to visit again and try a few more beers!

I ordered the Mama Mia with cup pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeños, and it was absolutely fantastic. The salty pepperoni, sweet pineapple, and kick from the jalapeños were perfectly balanced. Even if you're firmly on Team "Pineapple Doesn't Belong on Pizza," this one might make you question your life choices. The crust deserves some love too. It wasn't one of those giant bread loaves pretending to be pizza. It was light, perfectly cooked, had just the right amount of crunch, and let the toppings do the talking. To wash it down, I paired it with a Blind Pig followed by a Happy Hops IPA. Both were outstanding, and if you're already at Russian River, not trying at least a couple of their beers should probably be considered a misdemeanor. Service was friendly, the patio was a great place to enjoy dinner, and the whole experience lived up to the hype. As ABBA would say... Famous for their award winning beers, the Russian River Brewing Company was formed by the…read moreCalifornia Korbel Winery in 1997. The original brew master became the co-owner when the winery left the beer business in 2003. It was then moved this location in 2004, opening as a brewpub. It's been on my list of places to visit for a while, so my wife, her mom, and I took the opportunity to stop in for a Thursday night dinner on our way to San Francisco from Fort Bragg. The inaugural double IPA (aka Imperial IPA) was made by the current co-owner at a different brewery in 1994. Double means it uses double the hops and malts, and the ABV is quite a bit higher. He then created Pliny the Elder (ABV 8.0%) in 2000, recognized as the most famous DIPA. The track continued, with Pliny the Younger in 2005, a triple IPA (using triple the hops and malts with ABV of 10.25%). This version is available once a year in the spring, since it costs so much money and time to make. With so much malt being used, a large amount of time (and hops) is needed to balance. I've had Pliny the Elder in bottles before, and really liked it: I don't like the hoppy 'piney' taste in my beers, but also recognize that not enough will make the beer too sweet (which I've been facing with a lot my island beers lately). Parking is street only, but there was a lot of it, with the metered parking only requiring payment till 6 pm. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated at a table near the bar. As expected, it was quite loud, with after work folks having a good time. We got menus, ordered our food, and then decided what to do about flights. The brewery is also known for their Belgian style and thus offers two different flights. It was my first time, and didn't know how much my wife could help, so decided to order the California Sampler (a selection of 12 different West Coast 5 oz. pours of ales and lagers for $15.45) to start: O.V.L. Stout (Old Vic Loyals) - Irish nitro stout - really beginning to love stouts, and this one was good. Velvet Glow - lager - solid. Ending up buying 6 pack to bring home ($12.99) STS Pils - pilsner. Bought a 6-pack for $12.99. Russian River Porter - Blind Pig IPA - West Coast IPA Happy Hops - Juicy IPA Mosaic Stack - West Coast IPA SimCoe 25 - West Coast IPA Citra Flash Mob - West Coast IPA Mind Circus - Hazy IPA DDH Pliny the Elder - really good. bought two cans at $5.99 each. Pliny the Elder - the original Felt pretty good, so decided to order the Belgian Sampler (9 different for $13.63), Surprisingly, I didn't like it nearly as much (my favorite fruit beer during this trip was the Howzit Punch beer). Petite Robert - table beer Little White Lie - Belgian White Robert - saison Perdition - biere de sonoma Damnation - golden strong ale Mortification - quad Supplication - sour brown ale Intinction - barrel aged pilsner Consecration - sour dark ale In terms of the food, it was solid. The 8 pc chicken wings ($17) were good, and the cheesy garlic bread ($10) was filling. I had the meatball sandwich ($16) and upgraded the fries to a spinach salad (+$4): it was tasty, loved the toasted French bread and marinara sauce, with the meatballs being OK (tasted from frozen)...loved the spinach salad with strawberries and blue cheese. We finished off our meal with a Vinnies (co-owner) sundae: good vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a lot of almond slivers. Payment was at the table, and me being again very pleasantly surprised at how little the flights were (a typical brewpub where they charge $3-$4 per 5 oz, would have cost 4 times as much...though of course I wouldn't have drunk as much either).

After we had already ordered, some woman had her dog literally laying on top of the table. So that was disgusting. Their whole table was extremely loud and annoying. My nephew and I came into Flagships today to grab a drink and some pub grub. We were greeted by the…read moretwo people working and felt very welcome to be there. The place was empty beside us but it was nice and quiet. They have a really nice selection of beers on tap and a good variety of food choices. They have tv's playing sports and it feels like a place where you could hang out for hours. On this visit, I tried the "Dream of Jupiter" red ale. It wasn't my favorite. A little too hoppy for my taste, but still a good drink to have with food. For food, we ordered the BBQ Nachos with Tri-tip , and some wings. The wings were pretty good with a sweet chili ginger sauce. We also tried their dry-rubbed wings, which were just okay. The nachos had good flavor, but some of the chips got kind of burnt in the broiler. The tri-tip was also a little underwhelming as it was just a bunch of small pieces that didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, I still liked the flavor of the nachos, but I would get a side of sour cream or something else to go with it. I still really like this place and hope to come back again.
