This is an outdoor shopping mall in West San Jose . It was located just across the street from Valley Fair Mall . It has two parking structures and a cinema , many elite restaurants and shops for everyone, include a car dealership! Today is Saturday May 10,2026 and there are an Arts and crafts fair going on . Many vendors and the merchandise are very cute . To my surprise, the prices are less than those in Santa Clara Arts show ( indoor building ) in another location . I took pictures for many vendors and I bought some cute items myself . They have this kind of Arts Fairs in Santana Row every month . It's a beautiful place for a night out or a day stroll with my love, furbaby and friends. In a weather so beautiful, almost all restaurants offer outdoor dining and we're here to make the most of it. Walk around or grab a bite, you cannot go wrong here. There's something for everyone. You can dine fine or grab a coffee to-go. There's ample parking available at different garages surrounding the square. Always keep a jacket with you since it gets chilly most evenings. Their holiday decor at the Row was the best in South Bay! My friends from out of State loved the decor at Santana Row. It was a sight! I love visiting here and will continue to visit. read more

Santana Row is so fun! Yes it may be a bit upscale, but parking is free for the first 2 hours. As a Bay Area native, this is the best place that's been built here in the past 25 years! Santana Row never disappoints, but today it felt especially beautiful with all the holiday decorations. From the glowing "Greetings from Santana Row" mural to the twinkling lights wrapped around every tree, the entire street looks like a movie set. Review #010 - 2025 I used to come to Santana Row a lot more often when I was younger and driving in traffic wasn't as much of a bother. Getting older definitely changes a person's perspective on big crowds and time. I hate waiting in long lines, which I didn't really mind before. So, that's one reason I don't come to restaurants in this area, especially during major holidays since everyone else is also out here for the same reason. However, I do enjoy browsing and just grabbing a quick bite or drink when I am in the area. They always do such an awesome job on their holiday decorations and festivities so I don't mind the crowd during those times of the year! read more

This shopping spot is beautiful.. architecture & gardens. Every square inch was thoughtfully designed as art. Ample parking, wheelchair accessible, plenty of covered parking, walkable, vibrant, great selection of shops & restaurants, easy for Uber pick up / drop off, lodging options included Negatives: very expensive - prepare to pay the minute you park; toilets are toddler sized so prepare to have your knees next to your nose if you need to sit, non-ADA compliant toilets, bathrooms are an afterthought so they are hard to navigate with service dog or wheelchair (or stroller & shopping bags), bathrooms are cleaned frequently but maybe the people using them are dirty because they don't stay clean, not enough public restrooms (only found 1) I worked at a vendor booth during the recent half marathon & the sewer gas smell was noxious. I guess I stereotyped the area, but I assumed this issue would not be the norm at a luxury shopping destination. read more

I love everything about Santana Row! We live about 10 minutes away and visit frequently. We enjoy just walking around when the weather is beautiful, happy hour at Fogo De Chao, shopping at Sephora, Nike and more, getting my nails done at The Kitchen Bar, enjoying the festivities like the faux snow in December or the Chinese New Year celebration. There are so many delicious restaurants, bakeries and ice cream parlors to choose from. I visited Augustine's for the first time recently and I had the best gluten free brownie ever . There's even a cinema. There's free street parking or paid parking garages-first 2 hours are free. read more

A beautiful mix use retail shopping area with dining options and things to do and see all within a small area. Lots of holiday lights throughout. Very clean and serene. Lots of parking and it's easy to get to from the airport. I dropped by immediately after landing and before a football game. We walked down a flight of stairs, immediately got into our car and proceeded to exit but the gate would not open. It said we owed $10 more dollars!!! We have only been here a few times since it is a drive. Nice stores and nice restaurants. The last time i hung out at Zazil while my partner was at an appointment. It was nice. We then went to EMC which we have been to before and had some issues this time. Later we hit Vintage Wine Bar, Straits and VIP along with looking in a few shops. Parking is interesting to say the least and people everywhere are crossing streets against the light. Really have to watch for people. There is a lot there at the same time nothing of real interest other than a few nice restaurants/bars. Always leave with, "Is that all there is" on my mind. I think there is a built in clientele with all the rack 'em and stack 'em dwelling units right there. Oh, and if you're on a weight loss journey you may not lose weight but your wallet will. Not a destination for unless going that direction for something else. read more

I used to like going here. Not anymore. The parking used to be free. Of course, they started charging because of people using the parking lot for free since most didn't want to pay. Recently went there since the change and I absolutely hated it. You not need to snap a the QR code before you're able to leave. They should have someone by the exits showing you how to do so. Came on a weekday and had a good time. The area is flat and stroller friendly. Lots of fancy shops to do window shop. Fun restaurant options. 5 stars for the family room. It's super spacious, clean, and has everything you need like privacy and a sink. There's also a shared space with a TV that's good for keeping older kiddos occupied when you need to attend to a baby. Minus 1 star because the garage parking lot is a mess. We got lucky finding a spot on a quieter weekday. And then other drivers had trouble with the extra, so that caused a backup with trying to get out. read more

One of my favorite spots in San Jose , perfect for a chill day out! This is where Silicon Valley gets to sparkle!!! I don't know what it is about Santana Row, but every time I go, it feels like a mini getaway. Whether you're out with friends, doing some solo shopping, or just hanging with family, the vibe is always fun and relaxed. You've got great shops (some fancy, some super casual), restaurants for literally every craving, and the whole area is just really well done , clean, pretty, lots of outdoor seating, and really lively without being chaotic. Not the typically value shopping it's all lux so expect pricey. On our last visit, we grabbed tacos at El Jardin, walked around with ice cream from Smitten, and people-watched by the fountain while the kids ran around. You'll hear live music sometimes, or catch a farmers' market or pop-up event , always something going on. Also, it's super kid-friendly but still has a grown-up feel. Perfect for a date night or an afternoon with the fam. Parking's easy (garage or valet), and everything's walkable. Great service. Honestly, it's one of those places that just makes you feel good being there. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near San Jose. read more

If I could give zero I would .Went there during the holiday period to see wicked for good Parked in the parking garage closest to the theatre Walking to the theatre from the garage the Crossing arm in the garage came down and hit me right in the head it was painful and I reported it to security and the theatres the security lady came wasn't very concerned claimed she would make a report Now keep in mind there is no signs no flashing lights nothing bright to warn you no sensors to prevent the arm from hitting pedestrians. There is no handicap accessible exit and no walkway My daughter went back to security the next day the lady acted as if she could not remember the incident. When the management company was contacted they never responded This is dangerous and possibly violation of any handicap accessible laws.I am not handicapped but I feel this dangerous situation should be addressed by the mall management and they never bothered to see if I was OK Parking garages at Santana row are all issues for people who get stuck for extended periods of time trying to exit. I don't know how to describe this other than it's like a smaller, more crowded worse version of Downtown Pasadena or more closely, the Americana. There are much higher scale and fancier restaurants and shops here. However there are still some familiar brands such as Best Buy and Starbucks (of course). Honestly, the only store I have any marginal interest is, is Maido, but since there are others in Bay Area and many of them have fused with the larger Kinokuniya, it's not that overly important that I go to the one here. I love walking around Santana Row and it has that awesome vibe that other Bay Area shopping centers try to recreate. I have been going to Santana Row pretty much ever since they have opened and it has evolved a lot. However, they keep on booting out some of my favorite retailers and those retailers end up moving across the street to Valley Fair. I know Santana Row wants to evolve but I shop less at Santana Row now and more at Valley Fair. Whenever they have the Christmas decorations up, it is quite beautiful walking around Santana Row. I love the events that happen there including the farmer's markets and other unique events. I can't wait to see what else will open at Santana Row in the future because it has changed a lot but I hope it's for the better. Some of my favorite places to eat at Santana Row include Pizza Antica, Urban Plates, Boba Guys, Mendocino Farms, Yard House and Dumpling Time. I also love the different murals and art around Santana Row which adds to the liveliness of the area. Whenever I have friends visiting from out of town, one of the places I love taking them to is Santana Row and they always enjoy it because of the vibe. read more

An upscale outdoor entertainment and shopping oasis that features various residences, hotels, shops, bars, eateries, personal care services, live music, weekly and seasonal events, a movie theater, and more... there's plenty to keep you busy at Santana Row. Businesses here have come and gone over the years, but there are always enough options to fit diverse needs and preferences. Restaurants are more on the fancy side, but they do have more casual eateries like Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and this past weekend I got to enjoy some good eats at Urban Plates as well as delicious sweet treats from the  Smitten Ice Cream stand. My recommendations for some of the best spots at SR are Zazil Cocina Mexicana, super delicious mexican cuisine in an inviting setting, Vbar rooftop bar at Hotel Valencia, absolutely gorgeous indoor and outdoor space for enjoying cocktails and good company, and Vintage Wine Bar, nice laid back ambience and awesome array of menu options. Also love the Container Store (yup, it has more cool items than you'd think), the carefree vibe when enjoying outdoor brunch with live music, special events throughout the year (usually posted on their website), and the movie theater updated and conveniently located for catching a flick before or after doing a little shopping or drinking on the row. Fancy and expensive apartment living is available too, yes I've toured the homes, and I do like the wine coolers on top level units, but not the leasing office management lacking in communication skills. SR currently has snow showers on Tuesdays and Saturday evenings in December, every 30 minutes 6-8pm in Park Valencia, along with Christmas music in different parts of the plaza, nothing too amazing but still a fun little feature and enough to put you in the holiday spirit. Overall, a clean and classy environment, decorated beautifully during the holidays with endless string lights that enliven the atmosphere and captivate crowds. Free parking available in several different garages on site add to the convenience. Despite not being the most exciting destination, Santana Row still has a lot of positives and is probably one of the best places in SJ to take friends and family visiting from out of town. read more

Santana Row is a nice shopping center that has tall buildings that you can find in high populated areas. I am also quite surprised that they have an apartment complex that makes residents feel more convenient in shopping here. It feels like a paradise coming here due to how aesthetic this shopping place is along with its nature. I have been coming here, but not really often though. I noticed that they continue to expand this place. It was much smaller the last time I visit here, but now they have another section where the movie theater is located at. I am also impressed that Best Buy and Crates & Barrels have been there the longest. I also like the restaurants and shops here too. Coming here gives it a good vibe especially when you're around with friends and family. It is also a good place to host big events. I think I heard that they are hosting a free event about yoga, but I ain't flexible haha They have a few free huge parking garages, but I recommend you come here before the afternoon because it usually gets crowded making parking here difficult. read more

Finding a parking spot can take 15 minutes, and exiting means sitting on a line of cars all trying to leave so another 15 minutes there.
