I love this shipping center. Some of the stores are my very favorite. It's very huge and the map guides really make no sense. Since each shop has a letter and number designation, why not put it by the doors to the shop? Like an address? The walking is nice and great exercise, but after circling two miles, I was close to leaving. I'm very happy I kept walking but if time had been an issue, I would have found an exit. Or gone for lunch. I found a wonderful shop called Aesop and it was worth the excursion. The walking is fun and so much to look at. Gosh, some of the shops are incredible!!! OMG..I LOVE THIS MALL!!! Being a SoCal girl and spoiled with South Coast Plaza..IYKYK, I'd have to say that THIS mall is hands down the best in the Bay area. The fam and I happen to be staying in the area during our mini NorCal Spring Break roadtrip, so it was a no-brainer that we stop for some lunchie at Din Tai Fung and check-out what the hype is all about. It was a Wednesday afternoon, so the mall wasn't uber crowded, and since we had some time to kill once we checked-into DTF, the gang didn't mind as we ventured & explored around the huge mall. Everyone we encountered was super friendly & helpful. They had everything that my heart desired ~ from luxury @ my fav Louis Vuitton, Gucci & Christian Louboutin, to my other go-to's: Alo, Zara, Aritzia, and H&M. They even have all the yummy eats too: like DTF, Marugame Udon, Shake Shack, Eataly, It'Sugar and Venchi gelato (for my sweet tooth). And sooo much more..I was in awe! Seriously..you can leave me here for hours and I'll be fine. Lol The only downfall is the dang parking fee. Of course..only up North *eyeroll* haha. Like wtf..0-1 hour FREE; $2 per hour, with a daily maximum of $15 after 5 hours?!?!?!?! That could be annoying and deter me from coming on the daily. Our family of 4 stopped by on Saturday and I kid you not it was like walking through a runway! Have you seen the display windows? Fashion at its finest! And don't even get me started on the restaurants, we barely made a dent! So many restaurants I've been wanting to try!! Spent the afternoon at Valley Fair. It's a rainy Saturday and there was so much traffic it took about a half hour to go from Steven's Creek Blvd. to the parking garage. Inside, the mall was packed with people. I was surprised to see there were lines to get in many of the luxury stores like Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and more. I never go to Valley Fair on such a busy day of the week and time, so maybe this isn't uncommon. I enjoyed looking at the designer purses at Nordstrom and Loewe and the jewelry at gorjana. I also bought some See's candy and a fruit tea at Sharetea, which was awful. I wanted to get bath products at Lush, but for the life of me couldn't find the store in spite of looking at several directories. I was exhausted after spending about 2 hours there. I had planned on going to a few more stores and maybe having dinner there, but at that point just wanted to escape the crowds and go home. read more

I have to agree with Paolo B. (Yahoo! CM) that Westfield Valley Fair is probably the best mall in the Bay Area. I didn't go there regularly until I bought my MINI in late '23 that I notice how much that it has improved. My guess is that they had to step up their game in order to compete with their neighbor Santana Row. Well, they did. There are so many great shops, restaurants and activities (ie. Bowlero, Alamo Drafthouse) to experience. The whole mall feels so luxe now. They have so many great restaurants (King's Fish House, Baekjeong and Joey Valley Fair). This is my Go-To place whenever I am down the the South Bay because they have so many great options to eat, drink and be merry. Looking forward to going back very soon. I need to preface I do love this mall. BUT recently they made changes to parking, only the first hour is free and next hours are $2 an hour. I cannot believe it. I went on a Saturday and it literally took 10-12 min to just enter the mall from the parking garage cuz it was impossible to find parking and everyone and their moms were there. Then I have like 40 min in the mall???? That's not even enough time to go into 3 stores LOL. Ya the greed has taken over we can't even stroll the mall for free in a reasonable time. I prob won't be coming back as often as before it's ridiculous! Also with the new implementation, the pay stations are more crowded and some are broken, so if you are going to implement this new rule, at least give us more pay stations. Let's say someone is on time to pay for the hour but the lines are too long and they end up having to pay for 2 hours... ya that sucks read more

We visited Westfield in Santa Clara on a Sunday afternoon, and it was packed! This is a huge mall with plenty of stores, restaurants, and entertainment. There's truly something for everybody. I came specifically for Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom, especially now that we no longer have these stores in San Francisco. Great variety, lively atmosphere, and definitely a fun place to spend the day. Highly recommend! read more

There's not many great looking malls in the San Francisco Bay Area these days. The one that stands out strong with pride will always be this Westfield Valley Fair shopping mall. It's a true beauty and blessing to have a real grande shopping mall with good vendors/retailers inside. The combination along with great foods are a bonus. Restaurants are one of the best for shopping mall foods. I have been coming here for over 18 years now. Never disappointed. Yes, parking garage gives you free 2-hours parking and you do pay for parking time if it exceeds the 2-hours there. Not too bad. I always take my international friends to visit. They love it too! Good brands including luxury brands are available. Food court is huge and there's a lot of good Asian restaurants coming soon. Nagi Ramen is the best. Marugame udon is ok. Sad to see Chipotle gone/will be replaced. Uniqlo store is huge! Eataly Italian grocery store and eatery is always a favorite. Customer service and maintenance crews are always helpful at this mall as needed. Good management. Restrooms are well maintained and clean. There's no other shopping mall with the same capacity with great retail selections. I really do love walking around inside. They have red decors and lanterns up around Lunar New Year timeframe every year. Not crowded on weekdays. It's the best shopping mall around here, so enjoy while it lasts. Santana Row across the street is very convenient and good for walking around. read more

They've lowered the time for free parking in the past month or so with no warning to an hour. They don't offer free parking for employees either. It wasn't always like this but they've always been stingy. I love going to some of the stores inside but tbh I'll start skipping because I'm sick of the parking bull. They claim it's for the customers but we all know that's a lie. They also changed it so if you lose your ticket they'll just charge you the whole day fee. Yall looked at our plate # so why's that? I'm so over it. There's better places to be. And if you really want some of the specific food places there's usually stand alone locations elsewhere with - guess what? Better parking. For free. And yeah every time I've been here in the past year the pay stations are always broken. read more

Mall with many selections and I see why y'all would consider this the "asian girl hotspot" for those in San Jose and Santa Clara. I noticed that so many stores, shops, boutiques, and restaurants were pink. It appeared so feminine at each corner of this mall, and I loved it. Went to this photobooth place that I forgot the name of, and it reminded me of korea because of the wide array in customizable accessories to wearwhile you take your photos. Wish that we had an orientation by the staffing how it worked because the directions would go by quick on the picture taking screen and we felt rushed ;-; but, this mall is so clean and we went on a Sunday. Not crowded at all, but just enough people where we were able to comfortably find parking in the structure lot. Thank gosh that the first hourish is free and the parking is like $4 for almost 5 hours. Would be nice if free, but at least it is cheap. Felt safe walking around this area, too...inside and outside of the mall. Right by santana row, which made for a good stop for either before or after your visit to this mall. Valley fair mall is one of the best malls in the South Bay. They have a huge selection of different stores and restaurants. We stopped by today to do some shopping and have a late lunch. While we were there we got to check out the new EV car collab with Honda and Sony called AFEELA. This car is so comfortable to sit in and extremely hi-tech. They only have the two prototypes available to look at. You can't test drive them yet. They are moving into a store inside the mall soon. We stopped by Gorjana and Nordstroms and stopped at Venchi, before coming home. read more

I've been to this mall a few times and I'd say it's a nice mall overall. It's extremely large and I feel like there is something for everyone. From boba to cute things to luxury goods to computer accessories to the Hello Kitty cafe to escape rooms to affordable clothing... this mall has a lot of stuff. You can easily spend an afternoon here if not longer. The parking situation can be a little crazy with everyone trying to go in and out so so keep that in mind. It's free for the first two hours. You can also walk to Santana Row from here too and kill two birds with one stone! read more

Very large and crowded mall in San Jose. It one of the larger one in bay area between San Francisco and San Jose. As shopping mall is closing one by one, this one seem stand strong. This mall have everything a to z. From cheaper stuff to luxury item. This mall also have supermarket and Deparment store. It has very nice food court and couple restaurant. It has couple displays which can show you the store location. May be in the future it can have display which can help you navigate with point direction . Eventhough it has huge parking area, sometimes it could be a challange to find or get out. Over Christmas time ,it took us almost 2 hours to get out from parking garage. I think the management need more stuff to help on traffic at the parking lot especially it is paid paid parking now. read more

A lot of selection in stores. However getting out of the parking lot is a nightmare. Cars just keep going in front of you non stop. An attendant should attend to the exit. And flow the traffic better. Next time will try to leave earlier. Value is good $6 for almost 4 hours. I am not sure if first two hours were free. read more

Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara is easily one of the best malls in the Bay Area. It's huge, modern, and has an impressive mix of high-end stores, popular brands, and great dining options. The food court and restaurants are a standout--lots of variety and quality choices beyond typical mall food. Parking can be a bit hectic, especially on weekends, but once you're inside it feels clean, well-designed, and easy to spend hours in. Great place for shopping, eating, or just hanging out. This mall has been immensely over the past 20 years maybe even the past 10 years since they have those huge parking garages now! I'm very disappointed. They currently charge for parking but you have 90 minutes for free. Check their website if you're looking for a particular store since a lot of stores seem to come and go. If you can find a parking spot on the street and walk in, I would suggest it. Stores are all different prices and there's a bunch of activities to do here as well. There's an escape room, bowling alley with arcade for the kids as well a number of unique restaurants, and even Eataly for grocery shopping and fine dining! read more

Well I have never rated this mall and I was fairly certain it was on its way out. Especially since Santana Row, but it looks like the Row has competition. Lots of high end stores (can't afford most). A few electric car dealerships and a motorcycle dealership. Probably one of the best indoor malls in CA. Tyson's Corner in VA comes close. Lots of high end clothes, if you're into that sort of thing (I buy my clothes where I buy my seafood). read more

While in Santa Clara visiting family, we decided to stop into Westfield Valley Fair Mall before heading home yesterday. Westfield Valley Fair Mall is huge - it definitely reminds me of the Roseville Galleria, but bigger! There is a store for everyone from Anthropologie to Burberry to Foot Locker to even Nordstrom. They offer high-end stores like Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Prada and Jimmy Cho to name just a few. They have a Legos store, Pop Mart, Yankee Candle Co. and also a See's Candies. As for restaurants and the food court, they had a California Pizza Kitchen, Chipotle, Popeye's, Din Tai Fung, Eataly, Koja Kitchen and even a Hello Kitty Cafe. Westfield Valley Fair Mall has everything to offer and so much more! We came to eat and check out a couple of stores and we still managed to spend 3+hours here! Staff were friendly at all of the stores we visited too! We'll be back again next time we're in town! read more

Security here is a joke On May 30th around 7 PM, I witnessed a group of juvenile males running through the mall, screaming profanities, and shouting into store entrances disturbing shoppers and staff. When asked them to stop, they snuck up behind us in retaliation and screamed directly into our ears. A nearby witness told us the same group had already screamed at a father holding a newborn. Security guards were right there and did absolutely nothing. No intervention, no radio call, nothing. This is the same mall that has experienced multiple shootings in recent months, including one inside the mall and one in the parking lot just days before this incident. When shoppers see and hear a group running and screaming through the mall, the immediate fear is an active shooter. Guards standing around doing nothing in that environment is not just negligent. Valley Fair markets itself as a luxury destination. The security here does not reflect that. read more

10/10 mall with high selection of literally everything you can think of, high selection of watches from IWC, panerai, omega, breitling, tagheur, rolex, lots of high end shopping like LV, Gucci, YSL etc... as well as food places. With Santana Row across the street it's a real nice mall to go to from time to time. Always a consistent deliverer of the goods I may be searching for for literally any occasion. Very clean, diverse selection of both high end retailers and the usual expected suspects. This mall is situated in a fairly busy corridor & tends to hold special events such as my most recent visit this past weekend of 8/9/25 which was restaurant week at several of the lovely eateries available. Only thing about that is more foot and vehicle traffic. Definitely anticipate a weight in a major hunt in the parking garage. If there happens to be a special event, taking place, other than that, it's a great spot. Verdict: Solid shopping selection for literally any taste & budget & overall experience, not to mention a state of the art movie theater amongst many other great options including a lovely rooftop bar & trendy dining. American Eagle store. 1/10/26 in my excitement, i forgot to ask the kind manager's name; the one who agreed to sell me their display which apparently is against AE's corporate policy. i had the luck of timing (post New Year) and a manager with a heart on my side. i've been looking for this beanie since it was first released and sold out very quickly everywhere. I was here last month and whomever I spoke to said no. I tried today and luckily they agreed to. I'm so happy. This was the only thing I wanted in the whole store. thank you! read more

Huge mall, but parking is a nightmare This mall is enormous, tons to see and do. First 2 hours of parking are free, which is great in theory... but getting in and out is another story. We went during the opening of the new Hello Kitty store, so maybe that's why traffic was worse than usual, but it took us forever to get out of the parking lot. The machines wouldn't let us pay, which was ridiculous. Luckily, I scanned the QR code on the ticket and was able to check out that way, but we barely made it out under the 2-hour limit. Great shopping, but parking is atrocious, definitely plan ahead if you're on a schedule. read more

While visiting my daughter, she took me on an outing to the Westfield Valley Fair mall. My daughter says that she favors that mall over the other malls in the area, and I can certainly see why. The mall is expansive. There's a store for everything, and I think everyone can find something that they can afford there. The high end stores like Rolex has private security and lines, as they limit the number of customers that can enter at once. The store selections range from low to pricey premium brands. The mall was lively and very well lit. There's many restaurant style shops, as well as snack shops. Parking was plentiful. Great place to walk indoors and enjoy some window shopping. read more

We came out here to Westfield Valley Wednesday July16, 2025 because they had some sort of promotions and special sales going on and plus I wanted to check out the Brand New Hello Kitty Cafe that was Finally opened Last Friday July11, 2025. The Cafe was still super packed with a long line at the entrance OMG. Even those people with Reservation had to stand in line. We had no chance. Anyhow we still have fun walking around here 4 like three hours! Some of the popular stores here are Gucci, Eataly, Bloomingdale's, Victoria Secret, Nordstrom, Burberry, Dior, COACH Store, VERSACE, Louis Vuitton, and so many other stores not mentioned because we didn't have enough time to go to all. Westfield Valley Fair is within walking distance from Santana Row and has a lot of parking spaces--though parking can get tricky and tedious on weekends when it's packed. It has almost every store you could be looking for. Since it's huge, it can take a while to walk from one store to another (or even find the one you're looking for). Network reception can also be bad in certain areas. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, so you can always take a break and grab something to eat. Whatever you're shopping for, you'll find variety here. There's almost always a sale going on, and if you patiently spend some time looking around, you can score some great deals--I do that all the time. Security is solid too; you'll see them walking around and they'll answer you questions politely. Right now, the most talked-about addition is the Hello Kitty Café. It's adorable & aesthetic but expect long lines on weekends. read more

As someone who has been coming to this mall for decades the self created parking quagmire has added SF parking prices ($25 for VIP parking) while reducing regular paid parking. They have also changed the flow of traffic in the parking garages creating 20% unused parking spots, increased time to find a spot, and time NOT spent buying at the mall. Whoever planned the parking should be fired. read more

Very solid mall with a great mix of shops. From luxury high-end stores to smaller shops selling fun knickknacks, there's a little bit of everything. The food selection is small but solid, making it a nice place to walk around and spend some time. Traffic can get a bit treacherous during peak hours, though. read more
