Flavor was seriously lacking on all of the dishes. The asada tacos were very plain and needed salt or some kind of seasoning. I thought adding salsa would help but non of the salsas were flavorful either. We shared carne asada fries amongst the family. The fries were undercooked and they were skimpy on the meat. We bought mahi fish tacos last week which were good. Today I did a pick up order. Ordered 4 bowls, a burrito and nachos. $80.00. The bowls look good but the chicken is literally a spoonful it is a very small amount of chicken and unfortunately 3 of the bowls were cold. I ended up throwing mine out. My son said the Birria was good but a little cold. I would recommend eating inside if you want a bigger bowl and warm food. read more

Wack service. Came in exactly at 7:32 and it says on Apple Maps they close at 8. They were servicing a couple but denied me service. In my opinions that's insanely wack. I instead went to Papagayos and waited in the parking lot while i placed my order. No one else came into this establishment. They really could served me as the last person and instead of honoring a hungry customer while they're taking the order of a couple is outrageous. My husband and I decided to eat a late lunch here after 2 pm two Wednesdays ago. When we came in, we were greeted by an employee behind the counter. After looking at the menu board, we ended up ordering: Chicken Bowl, $10.50 prior to tax- With this bowl, I decided to get Spanish rice, each of the different types of beans (refried, pinto and black), cooked onions and bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, chicken and a little bit of shredded cheese. This was plenty of food and leftovers made for a second meal. Carnitas Burrito, $10.50 prior to tax- My husband ordered this after I ordered my bowl. This burrito was massive but wasn't surprise since my bowl was already so much food. My husband could have made this into 2 meals but he stuffed himself and then threw out the leftovers he couldn't finish (I don't know why he didn't just save his leftovers like I did). -------------------------- (Total= $22.62 after tax) The portion sizes are plenty and one entrée could most likely feed 2. There is minimal seating inside if you wish to dine in. The unisex restroom was clean upon this visit and adequately stocked with the essentials. Hands-down, the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. Any other review above one Star is absolutely lying. I spent $30 for me and my girlfriend to get sick. Not only that they were very chintzy with meat. If you want an awful meal, I would go here. I tell them leave reviews, but this place was just so bad. You place your order in a tablet that was not user friendly. If you have multiple items to order is was hell. And not everything was processed. We are up in the area for the weekend, and saw that they make breakfast burritos. They come with eggs, cheese, and potatoes - then everything else is customizable. We added bacon to one, chorizo to another, and carne asada to the last. The staff was available to kindly answer any questions we had. While we waited for our burritos, I noticed took in the ambiance. Everything is clean and orderly. I noticed the chef and staff bringing up fresh hot pans of different items to prepare our burritos. I ordered the beef birria tacos and bean n cheese burritos. While waiting, I noticed the sous vide running in the back of their kitchen so thought this place ought to be good. Upon packing up my to-go order, I saw that no consommé was in the picture so asked the lady if she could pack up a cup. At first, she said they were out but then realized she just got a pot off the stove so got one for me. I then asked her if I could get one more since I was sharing the tacos with my wife and she gladly did so. She mentioned that the shredded beef sits in and soaks up the consommé so I was lucky to get extra. I thanked her kindly and left for home. When I got back to our cabin, I could smell the food and was eagerly ready to sink my teeth into the tacos. I added some of the raw diced onions and cilantro into the consommé and dipped my first crispy taco in and made sure it had soaked it up and took a monster bite. I could not believe how darn good it was and immediately took a sip of the consommé along with a bite of the fried jalapeño I had added on the side. Pure bliss!! I had some "marinated" consommé left after the tacos so finished it off my dunking my bean n cheese burrito and left me full with a huge smile on my face. Super bomb food, Santiago's!!! The Sunday we stopped by, there were only two workers so it was phenomenally slow, but it was fine since we were in no rush. I ordered a chicken quesadilla ($6-7?). It was giant in size and was exactly what I wanted - melted cheese, seasoned chicken in a giant tortilla. Delicious. I ended up going with the two soyasada taco plate that included rice and beans. The whole scheme of this place is based lightly off the Chipotle format. The difference about this place is that it's straight up delectable. The place is a bit overwhelming just because there are so many options and different ways you can go about constructing your meal. The service was horrible the gentleman was very rude and almost rushed me through my order despite the fact that I was the only one in the restaurant. For all intents and purposes, we did not intend on having lunch here, but due to another restaurant near by, not being open we walked over to Santiagos. This has been undoubtedly the cleanest Taco Shop I have ever been to. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had the Chicken Burrito, was fresh and made to order in front of me, my Husband had the Asada Burrito and had it "his way". Glad we came across this place and will be back. read more

What an awesome taco shop! It's super cute inside and out. We came here for the vegan burritos and she told us she only had the breakfast burritos ready. Then, seeing our disappointment, she said if you can wait about 15 minutes I'll make it for you. So sweet!! It's like a Chipotle style where you choose your ingredients for the burrito. They had 3 choices of vegan beans and the soyasada, rice, guac, letttuce, veggies, and salsa. It was exactly what we were craving! We also had the Jamaica.
