First grooming experience for my fluffy boy cat. He's still a baby at 1 years old (and 15 pounds!), and has struggled at maintaining his coat for a while. Finally decided to find a groomer and was so happy to find this cat only spa! Santina was super attentive and informative about what my cat likely needed and made me feel at ease. My boy does not take to brushing very easily and I was so impressed that he was able to get bathed, groomed, and even shaved some! He didn't seem overly anxious or stressed and went back to his usual dumb boy behavior shortly after returning home. Definitely a great experience! We came in for a nail trim for our spicy kitty. I just can't do it myself anymore. They were very friendly. They took her into one of the rooms, but the door was open. I heard them talking kindly to her. They got her trimmed up in about 6 minutes and back in her crate. There was no fuss; I didn't hear my kitty protest verbally at all. The salon is so cute, smells good, and is the purrrfect place to send your kitty for grooming! My cat is a bit of a scaredy cat girl and she was super nervous however this specific place eased her anxiety and gave her a good bath, trim, sanitary trim, and cleaned her eyes and ears. Second time bringing my Ragdoll to Santina to get a good cleanup/lion cut shave. She is very experienced and does a fantastic job. My baby feels so good and clean after this. This was my cat's first time getting groomed, so we expected him to be a bit anxious. When we came back to get him after the appointment, we were told he was so scared of the dryer he started peeing and pooping everywhere! Despite this, they managed to clean him back up and get him relatively dry. We were so appreciative they didn't give up on him and even advised us to ask our vet about getting him medication for possible anxiety. Hopefully he will not be as afraid of the dryer at his next appointment. The results of the cut are fantastic for the summer, as he gets to stay cool and my allergies get a reprieve! Wow! We recently moved to Phoenix from Seattle in April and we were looking for a feline only groomer and having no luck finding one. Then the other day I tried looking again, and found Felisha! It looks like they recently opened, and we are so excited to be a regular customer! Our cat Kit loves being groomer and previously went to a feline only salon in Seattle, it was important to us that she go to a salon with no dogs. (She's a rescue, and her previous home had a large dog that she wasn't a big fan of, and we don't want to traumatize her) Not only did they take amazing care of Kit, she gave us a little goody bag of toys, and a report card for Kit :) Kit really seemed to like Felisha too! While searching for a kitty groomer I came across this shop online. When I called, it went to voice mail. Although it sounds like the groomer would take special care and attention when I read the policy online, there are quite a few rules that I wouldn't want to be committed to just to have my kitty groomed. We took our long hair cat to Felishas last week. She greeted us right away with a happy enthusiastic attitude. We chose the teddy bear cut and bath with nail trimming. Felisha and Bernard have not returned any of my numerous texts or voicemails over the past month. We've had to miss a few appointments due to illness and offered to pay them. No word. I've gone to Felisha's Feline Spa a couple times now and absolutely love her! Customer service is impeccable and her work is always satisfying! My Beaux gets the medium to long haired package and he's in and out within an hour - hour and a half (which they send a text and/or call right when he's done)! There is an abundance of package selections and add one all at reasonable prices. The environment is very calming and quiet, perfect for my sometimes nervous boy. I always feel at ease leaving him there, knowing he'll get top tier care. The store itself is decorated adorably and is well kept and clean. Attention all Felisha's customers... The business is under new ownership. I took my two ragdolls in for their previously scheduled appointments today & was surprised - no notice of change in ownership at all. All my appointments reminders still used the "Felicia's" name, too. The new owner is nice, but the quality of grooming is not at all what I have come to expect. Both cats shed, but they have more fur comming off of them now than before their appointments! One of my ragdolls has uneven scissor marks all over him & his "pants" are gone. He also has what looks like iodine on one of his paws/claws, and it looks and feels like cleanser may not have been fully rinsed off of his back end. Not remotely the same quality at all! Although no longer Felisha's - I believe it is now Santini's, we are extremely happy with the new Owner. We really liked the old Owners as well.
