This place is located on the NE corner of McClintock and Warner next to the EoS Fitness and Lomi Poki (great place). We only went for nail cutting. They do not require appointments for nail cutting and now I see why. It is $15 for clipping and $20 for dremel, apparently because the dremel can go shorter. We went with the $20 option and she was done with Scarlett in about 5 mins. No problem. Thus no appointment needed. Our dog sometimes makes it difficult for people to cut her nails but she just stood there. Pretty amazing. read more

One of the best experiences I could have asked for- This was my first time bringing in my 5 yo old husky and I was so nervous because he is insanely energetic, and quite a large dog but my groomer Zyanna was the best person that could have done the job as she owns 2 huskies herself. She was even able to trim his nails and he usually doesn't like his paws touched! I picked cage free so my dogs would not have a lot of stress since they are both rescues. Things were fine at the first few grooms. In June took them in and when I returned both their groomers were "at lunch". My dogs saw me and were frantic to be let loose. Not to be. I had to go in the back to get them because th groomers could not be found! So i went somewhere else and decided to give them one more try. Today I went back to have my 2 dogs groomed and discovered they had been in putted as 2 small dogs when one is a standard poodle and 1 is a toy poodle. They told me they didn't have time to do the standard unless she got half way groomed and then had to wait until another dog got groomed and then they could finish her. If I could give no stars, I would. From the moment that I arrived, and I saw a standard poodle being aggressively handled, I blame it on myself that I didn't just walk out. I had my two tiny puppies groomed. One came back with severe razor burn underneath her tail. SEVERE!!!! to the point that she couldn't sit down without crying. My other dog (a tiny 7 pound dog), literally had all of his nipples shaved off. They have both been in pain for days. Don't go here!!!! Seriously!!!!!! If you care about your pets at all, you would never take them to this place. I'm not going to name the groomer. Yesterday we took our Welsh Corgi , Pooka to Pampered paws on Warner Road. We have had her groomed there on a 4-6 week schedule. The groomer that regularly did Pooka had left, but she had been done by another groomer since and all was fine. Yesterday was a different story. We got a call from PP that was odd, the woman said there was trouble reading the notes and even though we were at home and reachable by phone no one called and they sheared her. When we picked her up, I was aghast. If it weren't for her face I would never have dreamed it was her. Her auburn and black overcoat was gone only an inch long gray ,white and black undercoat. This is my first review but decided this was indeed necessary. We have been taking our dog to Pampered Paws Cage Free Grooming for many years but will never go there again after this last visit. Kortney had been our primary groomer but when she left we should have taken the hint. Our dog was well known in the office and a very docile and easy dog to groom. We had heard many times how much they loved him and how easy it was to work with him. This was a new groomer so I called to specifically confirm the style cut I wanted for our golden doodle. I told them I wanted the length to be a summer cut and trim the tail to take off some weight and they said they would cut the tail to a winter length but keep the style. To my shock I came to pick up a fully shaved dog from head to tail. Details.... Tail: They said they would trim the tail to be shorter but keep the same style. When I picked him up the tail was shaved completely. They confessed they started too close and then said it was too matted so they shaved it all off. Then they finished with the comment "it will grow back" (which thankfully it will). Top Notch: completely shaved. They said it was in the file but I will tell you the top notch has NEVER been shaved only shortened. They never once thought to call and confirm even though I had taken the time to leave both a message and talk to them directly about the style. They SHOULD know what a doodle cut should look like or should confirm with the owner before such a drastic cut! The overall shave is uneven and there are cut marks on the inside tender parts of his thighs. Lastly as I was paying they said that prices are going up due to new ownership and to expect a $15-$30 price increase!! Shame on me for not being bold enough to skip the min tip and shame on this business for the terrible grooming job. You have lost another long time customer! BUYER BEWARE! read more

There's been some sort of change of management, which had led to appointments not being scheduled in their system despite making appointments over the phone. I had to get rescheduled 3 times the last groom between folks getting (not their fault at all, to be clear) and then not getting put into the system. So the most recent groom wasn't put in the system, so I showed up to my scheduled appointment to be told (very nicely by the groomers - this isn't their fault) that my dogs were not on the schedule. The groomers took them in, but in hindsight, shouldn't have, though I do appreciate them trying. One of my dog's toenails wasn't clipped. One of my dog's ears weren't brushed out / cared for, leaving me to find mats afterwards that I have removed myself. I've never had this happened before with this place, but I can't have them missing basic things like brushing out long floppy ears and clipping toenails, especially when my dogs were there for 6 hours. I would leave 1 star for the most recent experiences, but they were solid in the beginning and I think the groomers are just overwhelmed, thus 2 stars. I understand that all dogs need their rabies shots, but cancelling us the day before when the dogs are less than 2 mos. out from needing their boosters? I'm certain Shay would recognize that this was coming..... dropped my boy off at 11:50 for a noon appointment. Shay was called from the back office that her 12oclock was here. She greeted me and took my mini golden doodle to do his grooming. After an hour forty five I showed up and walked in.... I noticed that Shay was talking a bit stern to my dog. OK... I get it may have been needed. She did acknowledge me and asked if I was with her dog. I said "yes". Her response was "I didn't call you". Basically why are you here... I said "well it's been 1 hour 45 minutes". She said. Well I had issues with the dog before.... I looked at her knowing damn well there was NO other dog before him. I'll say I was bringing both my doodles here for well over a couple years.
