Whoever does their social videos is great. That's what brought us in. The food was basic at best. Enchiladas needed seasoning was just red water sauce. My husbands potato with his fajitas came out cold (straight from the fridge cold) Kids options were quesadilla or a grilled cheese for $10 Bill was $230 plus tip. Not worth it.

It's OK. I grew up and currently live in crowded Mexican food markets. The food here isn't remarkable by any means. My shrimp was not too flavorful and was luke warm. This wasn't a good second choice, but what we ended up with because the place we wanted to go had a 90+ minute wait for a party of 2 later than normal dinner time. Ambiance was nothing remarkable or good vibe.

Delicious Vegan Options! We stopped in for lunch today on a whim and found a bunch of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. We had the vegan ceviche, vegan tacos, and mini relleno appetizer (contains cheese). It is rare to find a Mexican restaurant with vegetarian or vegan options beyond a bean burrito, so I wanted to make sure and call this out! The vegan tacos are seasoned soy curls, and my meat eating wife loved them. We ended up swapping because the rellenos were a bit too spicy for her Midwest palate, but once we dipped them in sour cream, they were perfect for her as well. The cocktails also looked delicious, but we stuck to water for today. We'll definitely be back again.

If you're looking for a patio on Tennyson and some good food this is the place for you! They also have misters to help with any hot temps. I came here with my boyfriend during the hot days we've been having and grabbed a margarita and some dinner. The food was great and the margs were even better haha. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. Definitely check this place out and grab a tasty marg:)

Definitely would go again, loved my experience! Very welcoming and accommodating! Good was great and really enjoyed the Valentines pop up bar!

Margarita flight was pretty at least.

Our server, Cecilia, was wonderful. However, the food was terrible. The queso fondido was hard as a rock and no tortillas came out with it. The shrimp tacos were also severely overcooked and had no flavor at all. Sadly, got home and actually got sick. I will say the drinks were ok and ambiance was great upstairs outside. You can also bring your dog which is a huge plus. Too bad the food is so awful.

House margs & queso with chips

Thought margs on a rooftop would have been perfect today with the gorgeous weather. Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience. We had to share an umbrella with a neighboring table up on the rooftop - the rooftop is quite large but there were only 3 umbrellas set up. With that, we had to squish ourselves into the shade of an umbrella being used by another table and our seats were blazing hot (black metal chairs sitting in the direct sun). We were very close to the couple next to us and it was awkward given how much open space there was around us, but it wasn't shaded. Then, the margs were not very flavorful and debatably even watery. Finally, the queso was basically melted cheese with some green peppers in it. It was not smooth at all and lacked any spice. Great location on Tennyson, though. I hope this was just an off day. We will have to try it again.

So disappointed in the fish tacos. You'd think it was atleast a fish filet but it felt like I was eating breaded chicken nuggets from the Walmart frozen isle. I expected a lot more quality. Everything about the fish was disappointing. The chipotle sauce shrimp dish was better (not pictured) the rice had more flavor and it was cooked perfectly. The pairing of vegetables was nice too. The sauce on the shrimp lacked overall flavor. If you want boozy drinks and cute pictures come here, but not for dinner Service was standard

Sit out on the 2nd floor deck. We had a great view of the sunset, the Tennyson crowd. Huge props to the staff as it got chilly and they provided blankets. Nice touch. Food surprised us and the tomitillo sauce was amazing. Service was top notch. We live close and will come back again and again. BTW the brunch is solid as well

First off the valentines pop up was very cute stole the show! our server Jose was amazing he made us the best drinks and has great food recommendation. My friends and I had a delicious dinner we will be coming back very soon!

Drinks were amazing! Our waiter Jose was so nice and pleasant. Will definitely be coming back!

They don't serve food, though you're able to bring in food if you'd like. I remember when Bookbar occupied this space many moons ago. I used to like that place a lot. Well, I'm also beginning to like the new life My Boy Tony has brought here. It caters to a younger crowd, whether you're bar hopping on Tennyson with a group or looking for a spot to take a hot date. For better and worse, it's a neighborhood bar at its core. The most shocking thing is how they transformed the space from the previous tenants. It has a beautiful open layout with nice furniture and design. The bartenders are generally friendly and prices are in line with similar cocktail bars in Denver. The few times I've been here I've been in a cocktail mood. Negronis and Old Fashioneds are made well and are slow sippers I enjoy. They do have a nice selection of wines that I'll have to try when it tickles my fancy. The only hiccups here for me are some really long wait times for drinks. They usually have two bartenders and sometimes it gets really backed up. No one is running the floor when I've been there bussing and wiping down tables. Though I understand with a location here it can go from being empty to completely slammed in a matter of minutes! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable bar without the pretentiousness or judgment, check out My Boy Tony.

While we ended up getting different drinks, I have no doubt the espresso martini is yummy. My husband went for the Old Fashioned and I opted for As the Crow Flies - both were very tasty. Not cheap though - about $14 a pop. They had a wide beer selection and a few NA options, which I'm looking forward to trying as they sounded good. The bartender was friendly and skilled. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.

It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board.
