Gosh, I wish I lived close enough to be a regular here! The drinks are impeccable - you truly can't miss with whichever option you choose. There is an extensive, beautiful book with detailed descriptions of each drink as well as the tree that inspires it. The staff was super friendly and the aesthetic was calming, dimly-lit, and the perfect ambiance for socializing (low music but loud enough that you could hold an intimate convo). As someone who has a strong pull toward trees, this pit stop on my way back to South Denver was very much enjoyed! I can't wait to come back.

This little bar is wonderful! The vibe is very laid back, but seems upscale. The cocktail menu is wildly unique, and we had to ask the bartenders about multiple flavor profiles. The cocktails were phenomenal, though, so they definitely know what they're doing!

Service from Andy was IN-CREDIBLE. Drinks are well crafted and balanced, presentation is immaculate. Seating selection leaves room to be desired. Only options are front-facing seating making it difficult to converse with friends.

The Tatarian is a great cocktail bar in the Berkely neighborhood in Denver. It's a cool, elevated neighborhood joint that knows their craft. It's an intimate and welcoming space that instantly shows you they know their stuff. Especially because of the amazing smoky smell in the air from their love of smoking cocktails. What's better than that?? The story behind the name is really cool. Before the turn of the century, each new land owner who bought property in the neighborhood was gifted a shade tree from the city. The tree that thrived most in the neighborhood was the maple tree, specifically the Tatarian variety. Hence the name. The cocktail menu is one of the most beautiful menu books I've ever seen in any restaurant or bar. The artwork is extraordinary. Sadly, I didn't think to take any photos to show it off except one recipe page and the cover. Trust me, it's special!! The cocktail shown in the photo was delicious. The Blackjack is Rye whiskey, Islay scotch, Benedictine, Amaro Nonino, Chocolate bitters. It was a beautiful spin on an Old Fashioned. Next time you're in Denver you should check them out. You won't be disappointed. Salute.

One of our favorite Denver cocktail bars. Cocktails are amazing and so creative! Ambiance is romantic and welcoming. Bartenders very friendly. No reservations.

This is such a cozy little "hidden" bar in the Tennyson area. The staff seems to be friendly and knowledgable and the drinks are delightful. I highly recommend this for a great cocktail - drinks are a little pricy but right on target for a bar of this caliber. I've visited both on the weekend and on a weekday night and I recommend a week night for a quieter vibe. It's a smaller space and can fill up quickly on the weekend!

Okay yes!!! This place had the cutest decor and is such a vibe. The cocktails are so unique it was hard to choose one. I tried a couple and I definitely recommend this place if you like a strong spirit forward cocktail. The service was incredible and quick. These bartenders are knowledgeable and talented. It is a very small area so not good for more than a group of 3-4 at very max but recommend it for a cute date

I've lived in Chicago for nearly six years, and just across the river from NYC before that. It is absolutely remarkable how many excellent cocktail places are in such a short distance in Denver. Tatarian is another really good spot, a great neighborhood cocktail bar specializing in "tree inspired" drinks. It's almost always very busy, but even on a Saturday night you won't need to wait too long for a spot. A unique cocktail list is the thing here, from seasonal offerings to their rotating cast. The Senator was unlike anything I'd had, perhaps a bit too heavy on the syrup, but an enjoyable, unique experience. The ambience is nice as well, though it can be cramped depending on where you are. Lovely staff and great drinks at very reasonable prices!

I have been here at least 4 times. It is usually my go to cocktail lounge for out of town guests. Everyone I have brought here has enjoyed their experience. The cocktails are unique, they offer amazing Mock tails as well and the staff is friendly, welcoming and always try's to accommodate since it is a small place.

Super cool vibe with great drinks! I love to see the 20+ specialty syrups right there on the counter! There's lots of unique ingredients and a perfect place to relax and sip!

Well, I'm also beginning to like the new life My Boy Tony has brought here. It caters to a younger crowd, whether you're bar hopping on Tennyson with a group or looking for a spot to take a hot date. For better and worse, it's a neighborhood bar at its core. The most shocking thing is how they transformed the space from the previous tenants. It has a beautiful open layout with nice furniture and design. The bartenders are generally friendly and prices are in line with similar cocktail bars in Denver. The few times I've been here I've been in a cocktail mood. Negronis and Old Fashioneds are made well and are slow sippers I enjoy. They do have a nice selection of wines that I'll have to try when it tickles my fancy. The only hiccups here for me are some really long wait times for drinks. They usually have two bartenders and sometimes it gets really backed up. No one is running the floor when I've been there bussing and wiping down tables. Though I understand with a location here it can go from being empty to completely slammed in a matter of minutes! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable bar without the pretentiousness or judgment, check out My Boy Tony.

While we ended up getting different drinks, I have no doubt the espresso martini is yummy. My husband went for the Old Fashioned and I opted for As the Crow Flies - both were very tasty. Not cheap though - about $14 a pop. They had a wide beer selection and a few NA options, which I'm looking forward to trying as they sounded good. The bartender was friendly and skilled. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.

It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board.
