Nieces and their new skateboards.
David V.

Was browsing the net for skateboard shops an came across Santo Loco in Wahiawa. I was able to get 4 complete sets and upgraded one of the bearings. Really like their sharks with board logo. My nieces could tell the difference from their Walmart skateboards they had just used This morning lol. They were like "Hooo ....Uncle... Mean da wheels!" Lol Thanks again.

Not too much selections. But very helpful and a nicely organized and displayed store.

Central Oahu coffee shop gem! Located in the Wahiawa Industrial, Bizia has been one of my go-to…read morecoffee shops over the years :) Bizia has an assortment of coffees and food items. They use Poai by Pono Potions as their latte syrups which I love! If I get a drink, I'll get an iced mac nut latte. HOWEVER, I truly think the star of the show is the SOURDOUGH WAFFLES! It's made to perfection with a crispy outside and soft, chewy inside! You can choose waffles by itself or with fruits. The addition of fruits on top truly elevates it! In addition, the staff is always so kind here! I also just love what the owners mission is and the story behind Bizia's name :) Check it out their IG or look it up! They also highlight a lot of local artists and brands and sell some of their items in shop! Parking: Spacious lot to park Seating: Plenty! A few lounge seating downstairs + work area tables/chairs upstairs WiFi: Yes | Bathroom: Yes Go-to order: Iced Mac Nut Latte or Sourdough Waffles w/Fruits

I wanted to like this coffee shop. The inside aesthetic was nice, and I really liked the lavender…read morelatte but the overall experience left much to be desired. Multiple things went wrong during the visit. We ordered an iced mocha but received a hot mocha instead. We wanted a strawberry waffle, but they were out which was fine, so we ordered the blueberry. But then later when we followed up on the waffle, they stated they actually didn't have blueberry and only had banana. We had to follow up and remind them a couple of times for our orders: 1) We ordered a breakfast burrito and the worker forgot to put it in the oven to heat it up. It was sitting on the counter for a while, and we had to point it out to them. 2) They didn't start our waffle order right away, and we had to follow up for them to get started on it. They stated that the waffle was "going" but it was obvious that they only started working on it when we followed up. We went on a Sunday morning, and it was not busy at all. We were there for about 40 minutes waiting for the burrito and the waffle. I am generally a very patient person and would understand that mistakes can happen when there's multiple orders and things going on, but aside from one other customer who received her order pretty quickly, it was just us there so it was honestly super disappointing.

The owner is nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. There is a lot of variety, and back in the day is a perfect name. I was amazed at all the memories that came back will looking around. This location is rich with history, and it's befitting that this little antique shop is sitting in the middle of an area that goes back in time. I am old enough to remember the Waialua Sugar Mill burning cane back in the 90's as I drove to Mokuleia Beach and seeing black debris of flying burnt sugar cane drift across my car windshield, along with smoke. The mill closed down in 1996 then became abandoned over time, then opened back up with new shops and little local stores, like this one. It's a very tiny store, no bigger than a small studio, but has a variety of really nice antiques crammed with vintage Pyrex, glassware, clothing, Pan-Am bags, hat boxes, costume jewelry, and anything else you care to explore. The owner Etsuko is super friendly and we spent a while discussing vintage clothing, barware, jewelry and the finer things that were important in life in the days when things were meant to last and not fall apart after a season of use. I'm already wondering when I can go back to visit, as I had a great time there. The hours vary, so call before you go at (808) 778-5332.
