Had the opportunity to visit 3 locations this week: Kona, Pearlridge, and Mililani. Best selection, most helpful, and best customer service at Kona and Mililani. Killing time and stumbled HIC while visiting Kona. Found a YETI cooler that my husband's been wanting for so long. Kona associates so helpful to check locations on Oahu and called to put a hold on the 1 available cooler. I called Pearlridge location the following day 1005am Sunday wanting to confirm the hold; no answer. I sent the husband to Pearlridge HIC to inspect cooler, but reported staff wasn't helpful and didn't want to bother reporting the cooler on hold. Called Mililani the same day, cooler not avail, however another size in stock and Requested hold on cooler. Visited later that afternoon. Without saying anything, staff with good intuition asked if the cooler on hold was our request. My husband went home YETI happy. read more

Small rant.. I'm quite surprised that HIC has lasted this long at MTC..not too many customers seem to frequent that particular side of the mall.. After multiple visits, I've finally had it. It is so frustrating to constantly interrupt the girls from talking so I can get some assistance. Since they are usually attached to the register area, I usually get greeted upon walking in. But not once have I heard of the promos. I literally had to ask the girl what it was. There were signs posted which I hadn't noticed until she mentioned it. But apparently I had gotten an item on a rack below the sign that wasn't on sale.. Confused, but Bummers! Had a few items in my hand along with other bags and was never offered to have a fitting room set up. Interrupted them once again to have the okay to get a fitting room open. After trying on, I put the items I wasn't going to get back where I had found them. Now the girl I interacted with the most seemed nice but unfortunately she wasn't the one who rang me up. As I waited for the other girl to come to the register, I had taken off the hangers on my items ready to be scanned. I was not getting any positive vibes off this girl. She asked for my ID and I had told her my picture is on the back. She refused to look and still demanded my ID. Damn, okay sure after I just showed you my ID like 2seconds ago!! I let her know that I haven't had this issue elsewhere and she goes on her own rant about fraudulent activity blah blah blah. I was totally understanding and had shown her my ID but the attitude was unnecessary. She explained in a monotone but I could tell she was trying to stay calm. I appreciate the fact that they are taking extra security precautions and doing her job and I would have told her that had I not gotten lectured about what I already knew what was going on in the world. You know when you can already feel some judgement? Going back to my thoughts on how they lasted long in this mall also relates to why the associates don't seem to push for sales. Do they not have daily sales goals to reach when closing out the register at the end of the day and comparing it to last years? Is there even a manager around? Now this may seem a bit like high maintenance but I can assure you it's basic customer service. Since my experience in the retail industry, it's accustomed to my knowledge to notice these things. I don't necessarily look out for these pointers and mark down a business but if it gets to a point where they lack a lot, it can sure speak volumes on its own. read more

This place has some really nice clothes, the store itself is nice/clean, and they are located in Mililani! You no longer have to drive all the way to Pearlridge or Ala's to get your favorite brand clothes. However, the price is just as high as any stores in the traditional malls. The prices are high, possibly due to being a brick and mortar store and I can understand that. However, I never see any type of deals that other stores have and they sell some of the same clothes. I am actually shocked that this place is still open. Every time I go there the store is empty and they recently expanded the store. But I hardly ever buy anything, I am guilty of the showroom effect. I sometimes buy in order to support local stores but that can be a killer on the wallet. I would suggest they give some type of sale, though I know they have promotions where you get a free bag? An increase in sale promotions might ensure their continued survival. read more

Just picked up some Yeti tumblers for my son's coach's end of season gifts and Lehua and another girl working couldn't have been more helpful, sweet and patient while I made them pull out what seemed like every tumbler and bottle in their showcase. I love coming to this place any time I'm in Mililani. The parking is easy, the employees are awesome and they always have some kind of promotion going on (it seems to change every month or so). As soon as I walk in, I am immediately greeted with kind words and a smile. They always make sure to let me know of any promotions going on even if it shows it right in the front (sometimes I miss it!) They are always willing to help look up items in a different size or different color and if they don't have it, they can check other stores! Also, if Mililani is the most convenient location for you, they can transfer it from other locations so you just have to go back whenever it comes in. They always have great stuff and I can always find something for my boyfriend and I. I will continue to come back every time I'm in Mililani :) read more

Went in here because there was a labor day sale. The employees here were super nice and helpful. One of the workers came over to give us a heads up of what's on sale today. We ended up leaving the store with some goodies but only 1 item was on sale. She offered for me to get a 15% discount card for $10 that's good for a year and that it would apply to the purchase I was to make today. So I already made my money back with a discount of $26 today. Score! If ever we come out to Mililani again for a Five Guys burger, then we will definitely come back to check it out! read more

I came into the store today looking to buy polarized spy sunglasses. I stood at the case for at least 10 min trying to see if someone was gonna ask if I wanted to see anything well they didn't. Finally I asked for help and the first girl was nice but after looking at one pair got traded off to another girl who was not helpful at all. She asked me sarcastically if "I wanted to see anything else" all irritated like she didn't want to help. I only got to look at 2 pairs and I walked out because i felt I was only holding her up by the way she was acting. Went to town and country and bought a nice pair from people who were actually helpful. Will spend my money somewhere else in the future. read more

Worst HIC ever!! Went in this morning to do a straight return for a duplicate watch my wife got me for Father's Day. Gave the girl the receipt and The first thing she says is.."oh it's from pearlridge". After thoroughly inspecting the watch(and even dropping it) she tells me "I don't have $140 cash to give me. She says the store just opened and they only start the day with $100. Wtf?? Times must be really hard for HIC. Had to drive to pearlridge to get my money. The girl did suggest I come back ninths afternoon and they should have more $$$$. Save your money and go T & C. They start the day with more than $100!!! read more

I like the clothing and accessories that this shop offers, I just don't like the prices. I tried on two cute pairs of shorts that I would have considered buying it they weren't close to 40 dollars each. Some of the bags/purses they have in here are also very cute and somewhat affordable depending on the brand. They also offer up skateboards, wallets, men's clothing, skateboard components, shoes (mostly flip-flops if I can recall correctly) and various other items. Cute stuff, just not cute enough for my wallet, but definitely worth a look around. read more

Felt like I was gonna have a anxiety attack while browsing through clothing as we my gf and I were being stalked by the two female employees one local girl and a older woman and being asked around 9times total if we are doing ok or need anything and is excessive and I almost felt harassed and I felt like I was being guilted while just browsing .. I understand it's there goal to deter theft and be passive aggressive about it but they were straight up awful and had horrible sales technique .. Was very close to telling them to leave me alone I'm not gonna steal anything fucking relax please!!! .. Great products and good shop that is desperately needed for the mililani Wahiawa black hole area now have a place to get some good trunks finally instead of driving to Pearl or Honolulu lol..
