I made an appointment for Monday 2/16/2015 to have my miniature poodle groomed. I explained that my…read moreonly transportation is Handi Ride which I have to schedule a day in advance. So Sarah said if I brought my dog in by 12:00n she would have her groomed & ready by 3:00p. But she wanted me to be available in case of a problem. So I said I would just shop in the neighborhood and wait until 3:00p. When I called to schedule Handi Ride the only time slots that they had available would get me there early, or late. I chose to be early rather than late to the appointment. I arrived an hour early with my dog in her pet carrier. (I didn't expect faster service besides my return ride wouldn't pick me up any earlier even if my dog was ready earlier I still had to wait for my Handi Ride to arrive after 3:00p. When I came to the shop door Sarah was upset that I was early. I told her that was when my ride could bring me otherwise I would have been late. I said that I didn't expect her to do my dog earlier & that I expected to have to wait. Then Sarah raised her voice & started yelling at at me. I didn't understand what she was angry about. But she said that she had told me specifically not to be early. Sarah said that she had told me repeatedly over the phone. I only said that I don't remember her saying that. But I asked her what she wanted me to do. I offered to come back later but I don't think she understood or listened because she was screaming by that time. That is when a neighbor came from across the street because of the yelling. The neighbor wanted to know why Sarah was yelling at me. Sarah told the neighbor to leave or she was calling the cops. I really became upset about being yelled at; I was having reservations about leaving my dog with someone who was so angry with me. Sara said that I couldn't wait around outside I tried to let her know that I would just walk around. Then she said that because I came early that she wouldn't have my dog ready until 5:00p I told her my ride was coming between 3:00 & 3:30p. I said I just wanted to cancel my appointment. Sarah was still yelling at the neighbor threatening to call the cops. ?? Really? The only law being broken was disturbing the peace; & Sarah was the one doing it.  Then the kind neighbor took me to her house & we sat on the porch while I waited for my ride. I was told by other neighbors that Sarah often resorts to screaming. I decided that I don't trust someone who is that angry so much of the time be gentle with my pet.

Ann Marie did an amazing job making her look absolutely adorable. I didn't have to say much, I let her experience do the work and I was even more pleased than I expected. I've found my go-to place! She was extremely gentle, kind and sweet with her and it made me feel extremely comfortable leaving my girl with her. Also, it seemed as though she really had great experience and knowledge with the well-being of dogs. She explained to me a remedy for a problem she noticed on my girl that I could never figure out by asking others. I didn't even have to mention it! She noticed it on her own. Amazing! she's the groom guru. Also, she mentioned other services I didn't know we're possible and now I'm even more happy to know she's genuinely caring. Take your dog by her, do it.
