I would not suggest going to Sapphire as I have had open incisions/wounds due to thermal burns for a year, which I have to get corrective surgery at another clinic to correct. I went in for tickle lipo and bodytite on 9/11/2025. Dr. Leslie and her staff are very nice, and I initially felt very confident in my decision to go with Sapphire. One thing I did not realize is that Dr. Smith is a board certified surgeon, but not a board certified plastic surgeon. After my first procedure, I realized the 5 incisions I had were quite large and red (quarter sized), and I think Dr. Smith noticed too as she asked the nurse to write down that I would need scar tape in the future. I went home to begin healing, except I never really did. The incisions stayed open. I emailed and texted Dr. Smith who continued to give me antibiotics for the incisions, which resulted in me at the ER getting tested for C. Diff after the 3rd round of antibiotics caused me severe stomach distress. Each month I would email or text asking about why my incisions were not closing, and was told a few different things each time. First it was I was a poor healer, then it was because I must have red hair genes in my family causing sensitive skin, and then it was that the scars were keloids. I went in several times over the first year to be seen, and even once for morpheus just at the end of April. Each time she saw the open incisions and I was told they would heal with time. I have my entire text chain with Dr. Smith over the last year, including the photos I sent in of my open incisions on multiple occasions. Upon my count, I reached out 10-15 times in regard to these open sores. After 8 months, the incisions were still open, and I realized that the lipo result was not great either, as very little fat was taken. I was told I needed to wait 7-8 months to see my final result. I went and saw Dr. Smith again and we decided to try a revision. I had my lower stomach done again around the belly button and then the sides and under the armpit area. This time no bodytite and my incisions were tiny and healed in less than 10 days with zero issue. However, this time I did notice I had a large dented line running from my belly button downwards. I was hopeful as I healed that this would go away, but it just became more visible as the swelling went down. I waited the 2 months I was told to wait after my second "revision" lipo procedure, and then I went to another plastic surgeon to get a second opinion. I was told the open incisions I have from the first procedure are thermal burns that will not close because the tissue is damaged. I sort of figured this as they are about the size of nickels and still scabbing daily. The doctor suggested scar revision, and also stated I would need fat grafting to fill in the large dent/line that was caused during the revision. I was quoted 4k or so to have another procedure to correct the issues I received at Sapphire. I reached out to Dr. Smith and the team very nicely and asked if I could be refunded just the price of the bodytite as this is what caused the issues. I thought this was extremely fair all things considered. I enclosed the exact photos I am uploading with this review. I didn't even ask for financial assistance for the dent I would need filled. Dr. Smith replied stating I would need to come in yet again as she was "confused" as to why I would need fat grafting and offered to microneedle my open incisions, which we know you cannot microneedle over open wounds. She stated there were more options she could offer, but at this point, would you trust her to work on you again after TWO procedures, a combined 12 hours on the operating table, countless texts, and 5 office visits? Each time I get something done to correct, I end up with something new. This entire year I have been very friendly and tried to trust the process. I showed up to every appointment and followed every instruction to the letter. I have been doing wound care daily since 9/11/2025. I can't take my shirt off anywhere as I am so embarrassed having these large, red sores that look like bullet wounds on my stomach. I am so disappointed and saddened at how Dr. Smith reacted when I simply asked to be refunded for a small portion of what I paid in, and was essentially gaslit in her reply that she was "confused", despite a year long text chain I have saved showing me expressing concerns about these open wounds. I would not suggest anyone go to this place for anything at this point as Dr. Smith does not stand behind her work and if you do have any issues, good luck getting an honest reply or any accountability. I now have to go to a different place to get these issues fixed, on top of the 9k I already spent. read more

Sapphire does a ton of stuff, this review is based only on laser hair reduction treatments. I discovered Sapphire via Groupon and had a very pleasant experience. The location is great, just off 494/394, north of the Carlson Towers, it is easy to get in/out from any side of town. It is a huge office building, so there is free parking, including visitor parking right up front. The suite is through the doors to the left, just past the bathrooms. Its small, but nicely decorated. They have infused water and lifesavers for a little pre-treatment hydration/freshening up. The receptionist is very sweet and will chat with you while you wait, as long as she isn't busy. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes, they run a tight ship. My laser technician was Kathleen, she is pretty great. I had a ton of questions before my first session and she answered them and then some. Very knowledgeable. She also makes you feel very comfortable which is a good thing. I can imagine even more so if you choose to do the brazillian, when she will be all up in your lady business for awhile. My first session was on my underarms and that was bad enough. Ha! She keeps the conversation moving during the treatment as well, and still explains what she is doing and why if you ask questions. As for the pain level...that really is quite relative. She equated it to a rubber band snap, I think its not even that bad, but I have a high pain tolerance. It only stings for a millisecond, so really it is completely manageable even if it hurts worse in some places (which it does, hurts worse where the bone is closer to the surface, like by your elbow). They increase the laser power after each treatment to make sure to get the hair, but it doesn't actually hurt more. All-in-all, as long as you go into it knowing this is for hair reduction, not removal, you will be pleased with the results. I have had six sessions on my underarms and six on my arms and am very happy with the results. Go check them out to get rid of any "hairy situation" you may have. :) read more

I would absolutely not recommend this place. My abdomen looks worse than before I have the liposuction. My hips look no different nor does my bra line. She barely took any fat out. It was such a waste of money I completely regret ever going here. Super friendly staff and technicians! I went in for a pro-fractional laser treatment on my face last Friday, the gal at the front desk took me back right away, applied the numbing cream to my face and gave me paperwork to update as it had been awhile since my last visit. Dyan ("Diane") was the esthetician who performed the procedure, she took the time to address my questions prior, and then explained what she was doing throughout the procedure. Was very thorough in going over the aftercare instructions as well, and made sure I knew to call if any issues arose. I was pleasantly surprised by the recovery! I had the procedure done on Friday morning, Friday and Saturday I looked a little scary, but by Monday felt very comfortable going out in public without makeup. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of this treatment over time, and will definitely be going back to Sapphire for further treatments! read more

I have been threatened with legal action to update my review; here is my updated story. I had a procedure here 2 years ago. During the procedure I could hear the nurse making a comment that as a paying customer I consider to be disrespectful. She ascribed my motivation for getting the procedure to a highly sexualized hip hop artist. I also consider the comment to be unprofessional and racist. I was shocked and hurt by the remark, doubly so as I wife and mother who taking the opportunity to take care of her self after putting so much energy into her home and family. I work hard and I am well educated. My motivation for the procedure was clearly explained to the Dr. during the consultation and had nothing to do with video girls, pop culture or "twerking". While the Dr. attempted to cover the remark with an uncomfortable laugh and stated I was "not that kind of girl" it's not the kind of thing you forget. My husband picked me up and I immediately retold him what had occurred. He was also offended and questioned how something like is allowed without an apology after shelling out thousands of dollars.The Sapphire tickle lipo procedure and fat transfer in retrospect did not meet my expectations. Before this procedure I had tentative plans to have a follow-up procedure with Sapphire in the Spring. After the procedure I changed my plans and began doing a lot of research. In the end I found that going out of state was the best option in terms of value. My research showed that major-market physicians performed more procedures and had more experience with diverse clients. I am very happy with the results of the second procedure. When comparing the results side by side I believe Dr. Leslie Smith could have been more aggressive with the procedure and her staff, and particularly the nurse could have been better trained on professionalism and cultural awareness. All in all even with travel expenses the "Miami option" was a better value (better result, classy staff, warm weather & beaches, lower cost). read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! This is the worst experience I have had with aestheticians. I went here to get a pigment spot removed from my forehead. This clinic ended up burning my skin because they ended up using the incorrect laser setting and I had severe complications from the procedure. Better yet, when the spot healed, the pigmentation was NOT GONE. The staff are RUDE, inconsiderate, unqualified and this is an embarrassment of a practice. After my complications, I reached out to someone from the clinic multiple times to seek help. Individuals ignored my messages, did not respond and failed to return my calls. Finally, they offered me a complimentary hydrofacial as compensation. When I arrived, the woman who did it was RUDE and curt. She did not even introduce herself. The facial lasted FIVE MINUTES and she proceeded to escort me out. Don't put your mental and physical health and well being on the line and stay away from this place! read more

After a lot of deliberation my brother decided to go do lipsuction. I had to drive him here, so my decision is solely based on his results and the facility. It was a very nice facility and the doctors and all the staff were very nice as well. In addition, the surgery went smoothly and my brother is looking much much healthier and is at a much healthier weight. I had 4 treatments done on my bikini area and I can see a huge improvement in the hair growth. It's fantastic because I have super dark and coarse hair. I would recommend this place any day. I want to write this review to warn other people not to waste their money into this business for its lack of results. The staff turnover is high for one and should of been a red flag at the beginning for me but I overlooked it. Also, the doctor didn't have any before and after photos of the procedures that I was about to receive. Another red flag. Always trust your instincts, if it smells too good to be true then it is and walk away. I was sold on the low pricing quote for two procedures and guess what, you get what you pay for. I am kicking myself in the butt for this and paying it with a deformed body for life or until I can save up more money to get it fix by a reputable plastic surgeon. This doctor at Sapphire is a great sells artist and the staff are lacking in professionalism by getting procedures done to themselves in between patients' appointments which caused me having to wait during a couple of my appointments. From my own experiences, please seek out reputable plastic surgeons for your body instead of medical doctors who are certified in gimmicky cosmetic procedures such as lipo. There are a lot of gimmicky cosmetic procedures out there for amazingly low prices that "certified" medical doctors are trying to cash in on so be alert because they may be inexperience and your body will suffer the consequences. read more

Two months ago I had the tickle lipo procedure to remove fat in my abdomen and love handles. Last month I had the procedure on my upper arms and upper back. I am very pleased with the results! Ever since I entered menopause, no amount of exercise or dieting seemed to reduce the bulges. But this procedure gave me results within a couple weeks, and my understanding is that I will continue to see additional improvement as the swelling totally goes away and my body further adjusts. Dr. Leslie and Nurse Nicole handled both of the procedures and they were the best! While I was very motivated to have the procedures done (i.e., high tolerance for discomfort), they made me feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I went to Sapphire for laser hair removal on my hands and arms. Both of my arms were badly burned from the laser. I am now left with hypo pigmentation and scars on both arms. I went back to the clinic to show them the scars, and they told me there is nothing they can do to help me. They also told me they will no longer feel comfortable completing any future service. I'm very disappointed with this place. After getting there, I had to pay an extra $200 to get the expected services. The staff is very unprofessional and does not respect privacy. Nor do they explain the procedure or what to expect as the end results. They openly spoke about my procedure in the lobby area in front of other clients leading to a great deal of embarrassment. For some reason, the staff doesn't have name tags and do not introduce themselves so you don't always know who your speaking or working with and need to ask for names. They do not follow through with requests and have not returned phone calls. The will require you to reschedule appointments to fit their needs without regards to your schedule. I definitely won't be going back to this place in the future. I'm going to complete what I've paid for, which isn't what I had originally expected, then go to one of the many other choices in the West metro area. read more

I had a very bad experience with them. I had a Living Social Coupon for vein treatment and called to make sure they could actually do the treatment since I had read on their web site that, with my condition, it might be contraindicated. I talked to someone who did not know and said she would talk to the vein specialist and call me right back. She did not call and did not call the next day. I called the next day to ask the question again, since my appointment was the following day. I was told they could do the treatment. I drove over 20 miles to the appointment and was told, by the vein specialist, they had no record of my calls and that she would have to consult with the doctor. She said she would see the doctor and call me the day the doctor came in. Again, no phone call from them. I called the following day and was told that they would not treat me. I was told a message was left on our phone, it was not, and the person I talked to, the same person who failed to call me previously did not take responsiblity for failing to follow through. I have no problem with their decision, I will seek another opinion, but I do have a major problem with their lack of follow through and terrible customer service. I would not go here again. read more
