Chad Kay, my therapist, immediately sensed this and put me at ease by tailoring a rehab program specifically to me and my recovery process. He helped me ease into a schedule and program that I was able to work at my own pace and at my own pain threshold. And while I loved the one-on-one therapy, I also appreciated the exercise program he put together for me to work on at home. Even more than the surgery, I credit NRPT and the incredible staff of physical therapists there with helping me regain 100% range of motion in my shoulder. In addition to the physical therapy, I truly appreciated the office staff and their willingness to work with my insurance company and accomodate my work schedule when it came scheduling my PT sessions. Bottom Line: within 3 months I was good as new and I actually miss not seeing my good friends at NRPT. I was in there from 12 to 4 it went by so fast. Shout out to the anesthesiologist for keeping me out the entire time. Same team that worked on me for the first surgery worked on me yesterday too. I came in to urgent care for a sharp pain in the ball of my foot when walking and running. The…read moreoffice staff were great and I was seen fairly quickly. HOWEVER, after my x-ray the doctor told me my sesamoid was naturally separated but not fractured, just inflamed. They gave me a pad for my shoe and basically said to rest for two weeks and then see how it felt. Because I wanted more clarity on my diagnosis, I looked for the visit notes in the patient portal. The visit notes were not posted to the portal for two weeks after my appointment. When they finally posted, the notes say that I DID have a fracture even though the doctor said I did not. I am very confused and frustrated about the delayed notes and inconsistent diagnosis.
