I'm definitely coming back in a few months for the summer tour because each season has different flowers and fruits. Just bring a sun hat + some good vibes and you're in for a wonderful time.

One of my favorite things about coming here is bringing a picnic and sitting on the Great Lawn. They provide lawn chairs, and I bring a blanket and picnic basket to make a night of it. It's such a fun and unique experience. They also have food and drinks available for purchase, including alcohol, which is convenient since outside alcohol isn't allowed. The productions are always impressive and so well done. The talent, sets, and overall quality consistently exceed expectations. Parking is pretty easy, with a couple of large lots available. The only minor downside for me is that I haven't loved the food options this year as much as in the past, but I still appreciate having them available. Overall, this is one of my favorite venues in North County and a place I'll keep coming back to year after year.

Unfortunately, they are no longer there, so that was a bit disappointing. The choices are limited and prices are pretty high for what you get with the new vendor. So, I'll either eat beforehand or bring my own to future events. Otherwise, all the plays I have seen have been colorful and well done. The bands have been fun presenting a wide variety of music. We saw the Beatles tribute band "Ticket to Ride". Our tickets were reasonably priced and the venue is small enough (seating for under 400) that there really aren't any bad seats. As a bonus, I was really happy that the bathrooms were large and clean. Only real disappointment was that there were no refreshments. It would be nice to have something simple, maybe just water, coffee, and tea? Definitely worth going back! BTW there's lots of free parking nearby.
