Chico feeling good after his visit...
    Adonis P.

This was my dog and I's first visit to the vet. I was worried about how he would react to it, as my dog is old, stubborn, and skittish. Turns out my fears were unfounded. They were very friendly and professional and treated my dog with care. He didn't even complain when his nails were trimmed (he HATES his feet touched) and when he got his shots! The doctor even got down on the floor with him to examine him because he doesn't like to be picked up. I was thoroughly impressed. Gave us a free first months heart worm and flea prevention meds. A month later I had ordered them on Chewy. Chewy contacted my vet who then contacted me. The vet said they can provide the meds ongoing, which was advantageous as they can track the dosing. PLUS they price matched Chewy (who has terrible customer service btw). SO far, so great! Highly recommended!

I LOVE LOVE this vet! I highly recommend! Extremely knowledgeable- patient- loving and caring to your pet- I am very protective of my big and they handle him with utmost care and professionalism! Their vets are also "Minimalists" so they do not force on extra vaccines your dog or pet may not need.. Very important for me and my pets health ! Thank you for all you do for helping animals !! I am so glad we found you all especially being new to the state of Florida !!

Dewey, our black cat that was dumped at our ranch east of Sarasota, FL. over ten years ago, developed masses including a long segmented one under her armpit and it was obstructing her walking gait. Dr. Fifarek operated on Dewey and the latter mass was located in a sensitive area with nerves, blood vessels and muscles. Dewey was walking so much better, even with stitches, within less than 24 hours after surgery. Dr. Firfarek personally called to give us the pathology report. He explained Dewey has a rare condition for a cat and provided some recommendations to maintain/improve Dewey's health. Both the front office and nursing staff also were professional and helpful. It was an anxious time for my husband and me but the office visit experiences were excellent ... and Dewey took it all in stride.

We would settle for nothing less and we have found Dr "Dave" to be intelligent, honest and friendly beyond the call of his duty.

Our bulldog is still like a puppy and our frenchie is a senior cranky old man who requires medication and a cautious hand. We appreciated the report card she sent and the photos and videos. We have a senior frenchie who can be a little difficult, but she took great care of them both. We will definitely use her again for sure!

Unprofessional Bait-and-Switch - Beware - Everything you DON'T WANT in a pet sitter…read more I contacted Caroline at Ohh My Dog for in-home overnight care for my two senior, anxious dogs for a 12-day trip. She provided a full detailed quote for 12 nights of in-home pet sitting ($1,760) and encouraged me to pay a $20 fee for a meet-and-greet to "ensure the dates are set". As soon as I PAID the fee, the service she "offered" completely changed. Despite being explicitly told my dogs cannot board elsewhere due to anxiety issues, she pivoted and repeatedly pressured me to have them stay in her home. She then claimed she "only accepts one pet sitting client (in your home) a month" and eventually stated she doesn't do in-home sits longer than 7 days (despite quoting me for a 12-day in-home stay just days earlier)--crucial information she conveniently left out until after she had taken my money. Trying to schedule the paid "meet-and-greet" was a series of unprofessional excuses: * First Cancellation (Substitution): Caroline deferred the first meeting to her walker, Grace. I paid the fee to meet the person who would be staying in our home. Meeting a walker who Caroline herself admitted "can't help with walks or anything during the week" does not fulfill the professional requirement for a 12 night in-home sitter meet-and-greet. * Second Cancellation (The Yogurt): Caroline canceled our second in-person meeting the morning of, claiming food poisoning from yogurt that had been expired for two months. Yep--Yogurt. * The Reality: Then she asked me to bring the dogs to HER house for the meet-and-greet and AGAIN suggesting for the 12 night stay with my dogs be moved to her house, continuing to ignoring the need for my dogs to remain in their own environment. * The Virtual Dog Meet and Greet Inconsistency: She then tried to force a "virtual" meet-and-greet because she didn't want to make the 50-minute drive. I explained this is useless for in-home care, as a sitter cannot assess a home's layout, security, or a dog's specific behavioral needs through a screen. When I pointed out that I paid the fee with the understanding that she sitter would be visiting our home to evaluate the environment for the 12-night stay. Now it was also obvious that she could not fulfill the service I originally requested and paid to discuss, she refused to refund the fee and "terminated" our service, claiming the meeting with her walker counted as a finished job. This business will quote you for the service you want just to take your deposit, then provide only what is convenient for them. Extremely unprofessional, misleading and quite honestly LAZY (I won't get into "The Yogurt")...

When we got them back they went from completely untrained to trained in every way! Door manners, in the car, on the leash, and other basic commands, you name it! They were crazy about food and now they will sit in front of food and wait to eat it when they are told. It's amazing! We then brought them back for a tune up when our son was born. It was awesome knowing they were with people who knew them and loved them. Our dog Charlie ran and jumped in the lake immediately! Happy as can be. A huge shoutout to Derrick! When our son was born 4 weeks early he went out of his way to pick our dogs up when we were stuck at the hospital. He truly loves the dogs and cares about the families. You can tell this is his passion and it shows through his work! Lastly, Anthony has been fantastic to work with throughout too! Due to him and Derrick we will continue bringing our dogs back here when we need boarding knowing they are in the BEST hands. First of all, the vet docs were very compassionate and eager to listen. Even though they couldn't find out what was the wrong first time and most likely it'd really hard to find- they still want to try to help. And I really do appreciate that. With the limited information they had, they really tried to help as much as they could. And I know they really tried. My issue was that when it comes to when I had an acute episode to take him to the vet and I had to put him down bc he was in so much pain. I picked up his remains plus memorials per vet. I was grieving and sick and my house was having flooding so I couldn't have it near it. Once I got a chance to open it, I realized that the paw print of my dog was not mine but someone else's. I had to call the office to get this fixed as soon as they opened. How they responded was beyond degusted. The person who answered the phone said that she just got to the office so she had no idea if I had accused her of wrongdoing. All I wanted was to get help for the situation, not an excuse. She told me I could come in at the slowest time so that I could talk to talk someone about the issue because there would not be anyone. I ended up coming up there 30 min later, none of the front desk persons apologied for the situation. They had the correct paw print the whole time for a whole week but didn't know. The office manager later called me later on even though I asked for the doctor to call me. We did have a full conversation for while but I'm not sure how it would make an impact on the business.
