If you know about those particular cars you know they have a supervised self-driving feature. This is a big deal if you happen to have Parkinson's disease! It's a movement disorder with no cure. It is also a disease that takes away your independence. With that said we took our car to American Detail located at 16634 House & Hahl Road for window tinting and Expel on the entire front of the car. All went well until we started to drive away. The self-driving wouldn't work! We were told that sometimes that can happen for different reasons. We were assured that it would return. However, the problem was my wife needed the self-driving to get home. We went back to American Detail and spoke to Ian about the problem of getting back home. Ian and another employee drove our Tesla home for us in the rain. I just want to highlight this business for their compassion for a couple of customers in their twilight years who needed help getting back home. Now for the quality of work. I have purchased many vehicles and have had tinting installed in every single one, some had imperfections that needed to be addressed. American Details work on our Tesla was perfect. I brought my brand new 2025 Ford Raptor R to him for ceramic coating and to replace a dealer damaged Raptor sticker on the quarter panel. He is super detailed start to finish. He examined my car from end to end and then called me with a paint analysis on condition and offered recommendations. His PPF person removed and reinstalled the new quarter panel sticker and he went to work on the paint protection. As he worked through the process, he sent me videos and voice text messages to to keep me updated the entire time. He started with a complete wash and detail of the vehicle, followed by multiple coats of the ceramic treatment on everything from the paint to the windows to the grill to wheels-basically anything he could coat, he did. The inside was thoroughly cleaned and detailed. I am pretty sure it is cleaner than when it left the factory. I feel confident the product he uses will last and will protect my investment! Not only did he accommodate me, he explained the cleaning and sanitation process, dropped me back home so I could work. Completed the work the same day and it was spotless and pristine.
