Fast food Japanese food at the Park Place Food Court. They take your order quickly. The counter where you pick up your utensils and get extra siracha sauce is not too clean looking. This score is strictly on the Service. I had a five dollar off on the app. I go to use it and the girl said sorry that's online order only. I stepped away to order online and I couldn't figure it out. Went up for some help, they sort of helped me. I stepped back. I go to check out and the five dollars is not applied. I went up to the cashier to talk the Gal again and asked what is wrong, why won't the app honor my $5. She looked at it for a minute and said I don't know and stared at me. I asked her if there was a manager that can help me. She said no. She said we're just a franchise. We have nothing to do the app shrugged her shoulders and walked away. How far does a business have to work your business, keep you happy and coming back. My wife and I come here about once a month and really like the food. The chicken teriyaki was pretty good but the "fried rice" I paid 50 cents mote for was greasy brown rice. There were 5 people working there just talking to each other and ignoring customers. This is a mall food court restaurant. Really all we come here for is the Teriyaki Chicken. You pay in a line, move down the line to get your food. I always ask for extra sauce. The basic is white rice and veggies, noodles or anything else are extra. The size is a full foam plate and plenty to take home if you eat reasonably, or plenty if you like to fill up. You can also ASK for a stamp card for every meal and after 5 you get the sixth free (not counting extras). Sometimes they have coupons and samples, look in front. Not amazing, but decent and usually quick. read more

Never left a review before but the staff here is HORRIBLE. The girls were so rude and the male staff seemed unhelpful. The girls working the registers are unwelcoming, unhelpful, and uninterested in being there. We were watching our food be made and realized they were making our plates wrong, when we went to ask for it to be corrected, they just stared at us and then remade new plates which were also wrong. When I corrected her again and said we did not want the steamed veggies, all she said was "you didn't say that." The entire staff stopped doing everything and gave us dirty ass looks and slammed the completed boxes on the counter and crossed their arms and just stared at us. We asked for a refund and they didn't speak the entire time, just kept those nasty rude ass faces on. Will never be going back. Don't go here, just go to Panda. read more

First, I tried to apply a $5 off offer on the app, which didn't work. I was told by the staff there was nothing they could do. I was then told I could get points for my purchase, but after putting in my credit card, they said there was no way they could add points at that stage. Excellent! Very pleased and well enjoyed. No toothpicks in my food, only delicious food. Toothpicks are used when you place your order on the outside of the plate to identify or something to help them know your plate order, but are removed after order is ready to saveur. read more

Ok place to get lunch in the mall. The line can be long though. The cooks cook as quickly as they can though. I watched them a couple times. I tried the deluxe bento with beef. The tempura was hot and freshly made, the California rolls were ok. The steamed rice was fine, but the meat was dry. I saw it cooked on the grill, but it was dry. The sauce was tasty on the rice though. Mom tried the chicken teriyaki. She really liked it; which surprised me because she doesn't normally like the white meat. She got it with steamed rice and the vegetables. On a visit with hubby the next day, I tried the shrimp teriyaki, I got it with noodles. I liked it a lot too. Hubby got the beef deluxe bento and he said the same thing I had that the beef was dry. So we'll remember that for the future. Because we'll get a quick meal there in the future because the teriyaki was good enough to get again. read more

I have eaten at Sarku many times and every time it was good food and worth the wait and 4 or 5 stars for sure but this last time, (I haven't eaten there in years) I have to say things have changed and not for the better, while the service was ok, the spring rolls were great but the sweet and sour sauce that came with them was a weird taste, and the drink was good. And that is where the good ends, the actual food was terrible. I got the teriyaki chicken with noodles and veggies. The noodles were ok, way too many and greasy but that's to be expected at fast food type places, the veg was ok but it was mostly cabbage and a few carrots and not very warm, but the teriyaki chicken, that was just chicken and not much of it at all, there was no teriyaki flavor, they had no signs saying I needed to get some teriyaki sauce on the side and not one employee offered me some, it was plain, tasteless and boring. Had a craving for Teriyaki and went for it. I had the chicken teriyaki with double meat as someone recommended on here. Your options are white, brown, fried rices or noodles. Portions are plenty and you may even have left overs depending on how hangry you are. Double meat and substituting the white rice are at additional charges. They use dark meat for their teriyaki, but it is juicy and the flavor is excellent. A side of siracha pairs well. This is located inside the mall in the food court. Not ideal when you have to hassle with the parking lot and the crowd, but it is freshly made in front of you and ready with little to no wait. My craving was satisfied. read more

The portion sizes are huge, the noodles greasy and delicious, and the vegetables on point. The thing is, the cashier's are usually rude and extremely rushed. Also, one can easily spend $20 here for two people which does seem like a lot since it isn't a fancy restaurant. The chicken itself although heavenly is $7 and anything else such as noodles and fried rice is extra. Overall, I love this place. I will go out of my way to get their sample of chicken and make sure I grab a coupon (they aren't always passing those out) but due to the price, I can't come here all the time and maybe that's a good thing.. I used to LOVE this place, however, they recently changed the way they serve their food. My guess is that in order to stream-line the wait, they have decided to NOT to serve fresh, stir-fried veges. Instead, they are kept warm and "fresh" in a separate section with other items so when you get them, they are over-cooked and soggy :( Nothing worse than soft broccoli, cabbage, and carrots. Had lunch here several times & usually during the week; and the service from the cooks are not great. They don't know how to properly communicate with customers. Also, they always seem to be in a great hurry & throw your food in the lunch box carelessly even though there wasn't a long line. I don't expect restaurant quality service since this is a mall, but at least be courteous since you are not the only Asian food peddler in the food court. I was being completely nice and she continued to give me attitude ....she didn't even ask if I wanted a drink at the beginning of my order .... as for the food , completely gross rubbery chicken ...
