Each visit, the staff, including the owner, acted as if helping customers was an inconvenience. Just not welcoming or friendly. I've heard the same canned sales pitch every time: "These look great, they're our most popular, they sell out quickly. Jody, order some more." Then Jody replies, "I tried, we can't get them." It doesn't sound pushy until you've heard it over and over , then it absolutely is. First visit: I stopped in to look around. No greeting. No offer of assistance. Nothing. Second visit: I came to buy. I have a difficult right foot, and the owner seemed visibly frustrated. He said we needed to go up a size. I told him they were slipping and too big. He gave me a heel pad and said, "That's as good as it's going to get with your foot," and insisted they were fine. He also sold me an orthotic insert I later found on the manufacturer's site for half the price. The heel pads peeled off the moment I put my foot in the shoe. When I returned them, Jody actually wrote on the credit slip: "Too Big???", question marks included. Completely unprofessional. Third visit: I went back to use my credit. Same cold vibe, no greeting, no offer to help. When I asked for a shoe in my size, Jody said, "I don't think we have them," then came back empty-handed. I asked for a different color -- she got it but clearly wasn't thrilled. I tried another style that apparently ran small, and instead of offering to grab a larger size, she said, "Yes, they run small," and stood there. I had to ask for a larger size. To top it off, she and the owner (they are a couple) were arguing in the back room -- loud enough for everyone to hear. Then when another customer who had just purchased a pair of shoes politely said she'd just like to look around, they flatly told her, "No, we're closed." Not "sorry, we're closing up" or "please come back tomorrow." Just no. Now that I've finally used my store credit, I'll never go back. If you want real service -- friendly, patient, and professional -- go to the other store in Surpise on Grand Ave. The owner there runs several successful stores, and the staff actually want to help you. With a smile.

I've been on a low-key mission to find more of the Motivas. I scanned the back clearance section and almost gave up, but I was determined to find at least 1 pair. Just as I was about to give up, I spotted them!! YASSSSS!! The last pair of size 8 in the vintage green color. It's more of an army green to me, but whatevs. I normally wear a size 9 in this brand since I like extra wiggle room in the toe box. However, when a friend convinced me to get a size 8 from the Tucson outlet store, I went with it. 8 is my natural shoe size, but it fluctuates with different brands. Nike is also very narrow imo, and my flatter than flat feet appreciate the extra room that a size 9 offers. The Air Zoom Pegasus that I found was a bonus. I wasn't looking for it, nor do I need to add to my ever-growing shoe collection, but hey, when you can grab 2 pairs of Nikes at under $100, I'd call that WINNING!! DO NOT SLEEP on these outlet stores, mannnn!! The clearance prices were an additional 30% off, so yeah, you really can't pass that up. Service was okay. These guys are busy, but I managed to ask an employee if they had any more sizes. He was polite and said usually whatever is out in the clearance section is IT. I walked to the registers so fast because there was no way I was leaving these shoes for someone else to buy. Not under my watch, lol. I need to stay away from here, but for now, I'm good to go!!

I was buying my daughter a present but then I saw a pair I liked as well, so I thought maybe I would buy the second pair. As I was about to check out, the woman in front of me just had one pair to buy. The cashier told her about the special and asked if she wanted a second pair and the lady said no thanks. Then the cashier said well what if I offer you 50% off And she still said no. While I was waiting, I was wondering if I was going to get the same offer. When I got up there she didn't say anything so I asked if I could get 50%. She said no because that was only offered because she didn't already have a second pair. I was so confused, I nicely stated that it didn't really seem right and I'd like the same offer. She then asked the other cashier (not sure if it was a manger,) and I'm not kidding, she looked me up and down and said, "not for her!" I was in shock.
