Secondly the "Hatian" bus driver - Winston who made me aware of his historical genealogy for a reason I am not aware as he banged on his steering wheel and yelled at me as we were stuck in the airport during the hollywood shootings! I suppose he wanted to be friendlier than I was willing to be. I told him I was a missionary and he began to tell me that my lifestyle was going to render me unsatisfied and sexually frustrated. I told him I enjoy my lifestyle in service to Christ he then proceeded to invite me to his home and gave me full details as to where he sleeps and who he rents a portion of the house to. I came across SAS from all the great feedback it had on tripadvisor. I filled out the form online with all my information and never heard back. I checked my spam multiple times and still no email. The phone number listed stated they would only be taking reservations online (that's what I did)... The website says they will respond in 24 hours... I never heard a thing... Left two voicemails, and never got a call. We are taking Go Shuttle instead; 23.00 per person from FLL to the Port of Miami. I used SAS on my first cruise trip for return to FLL from Port of Miami. Airport transfers were $30pp with my cruise line and we were on a budget! The process was so smooth. I made a reservation online and immediately got a confirmation email. On the day of debarkation, I called when debarking. Steve told me to call again once I was through customs. I just had to walk out to passenger pick up and 10 minutes later, voila, a speedy, courteous driver had arrived to wisk us to our flight. We docked at 8:00am, off the ship by 8:30am (self carry luggage), through customs by 9:00am, on the van by 9:20 am and at FLL before 10am with ample time for our 11:10am flight, as Steve had assured as we would be. Steve‼You are not running your business effectively and left my child stranded in Fort Lauderdale. On May 3 2018 I made an online reservation and PAID while the hotel was not on the list I did call your office and because no one pickup I left the hotel name, address and my contact information. I called on May 4 2018 asking for information no answer no call back. I called on May 5 2018 no answer no Call back. When I called on May 6 2018 The office was closed but I left another message with no call back. On Monday the day I needed the transportation I called SAS Transportation 20-25 times straight before a human pickup it was Steve with the most disrespectful attitude when I tried to explain that I had been calling since Thursday 5/3/18 he cut me off and was like my hotel list is clear okay I understand that but I've be calling since Thursday Steve begins to tell me about his health issues WOW Steve I'm a customer while I'm empathetic about your health issues how does matter to my transportation it's business I don't know you I'm a customer. And had you called me and been said we can not service that hotel No problem I would have scheduled a pick up at the FLL airport. Steve is refusing to give me a refund so SAS Transportation are Thieves as well they take your money and do not provide a service. My advice is DO NOT ever use these people you are taking a gamble they will take your money and leave you stranded. read more

I do not complain often, but I'm very upset with my return shuttle service. They lost two bags and didn't plan on doing anything about it. I was traveling with my family and we were returning on two different airlines. A few people were let off before us, then at the next terminal my girlfriend and I. When we went to the back of the shuttle to retrieve or bags, one whole piece of luggage was missing. When I told the driver, he said I never gave it to him and there was nothing he can do. Upon bringing my father to the next terminal for his flight, he noticed his carry on bag was missing. The driver started driving away, so my father started banging on the side. Practically mid sentence of explaining, the driver again left. This is when my father and I spoke on the phone and realized he lost both our bags. He called the company and the sent the driver to retrieve the bags from the previous terminal where he left them. Mind you, we're trying to deal with this under the time pressure of making a flight. My father called the company back to ask for a refund as we had to ask for help since the driver just drove off both times. When talking with the office (he was a little ticked off) the person on the other end cut him off and said "listen to me" and my father said, "no, I'm the paying customer, you listen to me for a second".... Then the office hung up on him. Unprofessional all around. As soon as the driver noticed bags were missing, he should have helped come up with a plan to get them back. When my father called the office to complain, it was their job to be listening. We deserved better treatment, and deserve our money back. read more

Thank you SAS! I booked with Steve 6 months before my cruise. It was a simple email confirmation with simple instructions to call once we arrive at the airport. I re-confirmed a week prior to my trip just to make sure I'm still in their book, and received a response that my booking is all set in less than 24 hours. On the day of the trip, as I landed the driver called to let me know he's waiting to pick my group of 9. Once my group was all together, the drivers Nelson and Curt, picked us up in the area they suggested. Both Nelson and Curt were very friendly. The van was clean, A/C was on high, and large enough for my entire group. We even received fun facts about the surrounding area as we approached the port of Miami. Before we left the van, Curt made sure we knew were to meet after our cruise for pick up. Everything went smoothly. After the cruise, I called Steve to give him an ETA as to when we will disembark the ship. Carlo, our driver, was ready to pick up in the designated area. Carlo was very patient and friendly too. The driver/owner, Steve, was going to charge us $23 pp for my hubby and I, but because a group of guys got in the van, he reduced the fare to $10 for us.Score! I have had such a pleasant experience with this company that I could write an essay. From my initial phone call for general inquiry Steve (the owner) went out of his way to be thorough and helpful and just provided an overall wonderful customer service experience. Whenever I sent an email or made a change, I received a reply within 24 hours. Always courteous. I received a text message this morning confirming that I still needed transport from the airport tonight. I replied back yes and was given the driver's name. We msgd a few more times and when I arrived I'd been told to call after I got my bags. Within 2 minutes of my calling, the shuttle arrived. I was told ahead of time that my driver was changed and given his name. The driver confirmed our names before letting us on the shuttle and put our bags away while we settled in. Luckily we were the only passengers so our 2 hour est. was only about 30 minutes. The other passengers who were supposed to ride with us had a flight delay. Rather than make us wait for 40-60+ minutes, Steven had decided to dispatch an additional driver for us (hence the reason for the driver change.) I could go on and on but it's late, I'm tired, and there's really no other way around it. SAS Transport is the best. Their prices are outstanding. Give them a shot. You won't be disappointed OH just as an additional fyi, they even place a few shuttles outside of the cruise ships beginning at 5am to assist those people who have super early flights. Call BEFORE you go into customs (no phones allowed in customs) and again AFTER you get through customs. The first call is to make sure someone will be nearby when you're ready. The second is for them to actually come to you. Sometimes it can be tempting to call them before you're ready so you don't have to wait. DON'T. They schedule to be nearby for you and the way Miami works is that they are automatically billed for each rotation around the airport and tolls and such. They're being billed extra while waiting for you. Unfair to them. They'll be close by so you really won't have to wait long. Just follow their instructions as well as you'd like them to follow yours. :) read more

He picked us up from our hotel and took us to Carnival Cruise Port in Miami and was the same driver to pick us up and take us to the hotel. Great service!! Can't say enough about their professionalism and promptness. The vans aren't the newest but have good ac and the drivers are always very courteous when dealing with customers. When you call them for a pick up the driver will acknowledge you by giving an estimated time and even calls you when he's 10 min away. Excellent service! At time of writing, I was only charged $15 to get from the Fort Lauderdale Airport to the Port of Miami which is actually a pretty long distance. Got a phone call right as I got into the Fort Lauderdale airport with instructions, driver was extremely friendly and even gave us a mini tour of Miami. He gave his business card with information on how to call him back if we needed a ride back to the airport later. Way better than I expected, if you need a ride from Fort Lauderdale to Miami use this service!! I spoke with Steve ahead of time and requested a car seat for my 3 year old and he said he would have it there no problem. After we got off our ship, i called him atlas four times before we finally found our driver. NO carseat. Our choices were to go with out or wait another 45 minutes. We chose to go with him as we had a flight to catch. We picked up 8 more people so the van was cramped. (13 all together) On our way to the FLL airport, the van got a flat on the express lane of the highway. I cannot tell you how scared we all were, there was no shoulder to pull over to a safe spot. The cars were just thoughtless and did not slow down. After about 15 minutes the van was clipped. A couple of the ladies in the van were crying and we were all very upset. The police took for ever and two of my family members went out to help the driver sway the cars to the other lane to avoid hitting us. Another van was sent to pick us up and we made it to the airport in time to catch our flight. We were offered no discount of any kind. I would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! I am just grateful and thank GOD that nothing happened to us. read more

I am writing this review to comment on the honesty of their driver, Hugo and the company. I left my wallet on their van on 8/29/2014 and had no idea where I had left it. When I returned home I had several calls from Hugo telling me he had my wallet. The company sent my wallet back to me by UPS. It would have been very easy for me to never see my wallet or credit cards but with Hugo's honesty and quick action he saved me alot of concern. Great service! They were quick and professional. I made a reservation for a shuttle from Ft. Lauderdale to the Port of Miami a week prior to my cruise. I called for my ride when I landed and was picked up quickly. I was then given instructions to call again when I disembarked my cruise a week later and pick up was simple and easy. He drove us to, and picked us up from the Port of Miami. We received a courtesy call from him prior to both rides with clear instructions for pick up. The van was clean, roomy, and air conditioned. We used SAS going from Ft Lauderdale airport to our hotel in Miami and then again from the Port of Miami back to a hotel in Ft Lauderdale. Our driver Jeff was exceptional and his van was first class. We then used Jeff again to go from our hotel to the airport and he was early and waiting for us. Reservations were extremely easy and I always got a response via email in less then 12 hours. SAS Transportation took my family (including a 5 and 8 year old) to the cruise terminal great BUT the return was another story. As we are still on the ship a driver called and we said we'd be off and ready in 10 minutes and he said no problem they had a ton of drivers and it wasn't too busy. We were at the terminal outside waiting in 5 minutes. When I called dispatch he told me 45+ minutes to wait. Then another driver called and tried to tell us to wait at a different spot than we were originally told for 20 minutes - we waited for over 1 hour. DO NOT PREPAY WITH THEM!!! When I called the dispatcher and expressed my frustrations he cursed at me and hung up on me! Will never use them again!!! read more

I would rate zero stars if possible. We were left stranded at the Ft. Lauderdale airport. I booked this in advance for transportation from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Port of Miami. Once I arrived at the airport I called the gentleman that called me initially about my ride and he informed me to call the main number. I missed my initial flight but was assured transportation would still be available once I arrived in Ft. Lauderdale airport. I called and spoke with Steve. He told me there were no more shuttles available because they were doing an event in South Beach. We were left stranded in the airport with no way to get to our cruise by 3:30pm (it was 2:00pm). I have NEVER had such terrible service. To leave people with a reservation stranded without a way to get to their destination is HORRIBLE customer service. I choose this service based on the reviews online but I was mistaken. In the end the cruise line had transportation available and one bus left to get to the cruise. Before our Transatlantic cruise, I arranged for them to pick us up at the Miami port for a FLL flight. They told me to call them before we went through customs so they could arrange a meeting place once we left the terminal building. I called as instructed and we had no problem finding them. There already were five passengers in the van so we left for the airport as soon as we got into the van. The driver was friendly and the traffic was very light so we got to the airport in about 35 minutes. I was very happy with the service and would recommend it to everyone. Once we arrived at the airport the driver called me to let me know he was outside waiting for me and to call him once I had my luggage. Picked up our luggage (BTW, the process at FLL was streamless, I had never picked up my luggage so quickly at an airport), called him, walked outside and there he was waiting for our group of 7. There was already a family of 5 inside the van when we boarded so once we were ready we took off to POM, the other family was headed there was well. We arrived in 30 min! Used SAS for the second time for transport from Port of Miami to FLL. Awesome as usual! Simple confirmation and directions through email, called before customs, Steve told me to call back after we cleared customs, called after we cleared customs and he explained the van to me as I'm looking at it right in front of me. We had a group of six and couldn't have asked for better service. Steve and this group know how to move people the right way. If your flying into FLL to cruise out of the Port of Miami ..This is who you want to call..PLAIN AND SIMPLE! You Call and tell them what days your coming and going and what hotel your staying at the night before (if applicable) and THAT'S IT! No Credit card numbers over the phone, no phone call run around/phone tag. The Shuttle service is unbelievably cheap..and if you have to get a cab for anything in FLL/MIA you'll certainly agree. (26 dollars for a cab ride from FLL to the CLOSEST hotel from FLL...... and only 15.00 all the way to Port of Miami) This Shuttle is ONLY for transfers from FLL to POM..and POM to FLL., so when we got off the Cruise ship..we called just before customs and they were there waiting on us..and ALL the other Cruise patrons were all waiting for cabs/shuttles/buses to Miami Airport. We were literally outside for 90 seconds... there were 2 others that had reserved to ride with us and they weren't there when we were loaded and ready so we pulled out.... the persons called the head office... They called our driver..and he turned around after getting about 2 miles down the road and picked them up... sound's a little inconvenient to some I'm sure, but if it were you that missed the van it's quite nice to know that they will go out of the way to get you on your bus and to your returning flight. Go with this crew! You wont regret it! And if you were like me, I saw SAS online before flying to Miami and I was a but nervous after reserving the shuttle, thinking what if they don't show up ? Will I make my cruise? Well you can rest assured that if you get the same experience as I did, you couldn't ask for a more smooth transaction. AND Definitely can't ask for a better rate! read more

We flew into Fort Lauderdale airport and stayed at The Westin Diplomat the night before leaving out of Miami on a Disney Cruise. On the advice from cruise critic and the Dis Boards I decided to book with SAS Transportation. Exchanged a couple of emails with Steve and had our reservation booked. The Driver, Lawrence, called Monday morning and said he could pick us up early. Lawrence was WAY more than a shuttle driver. He was truly a trip director. He pointed out several points of interest along the way and really made the trip enjoyable. I would definitely recommend SAS transportation and if possible, ask for Lawrence for your driver. Terribe customer service!! We booked SAS, well in advance, to pick us up at the Miami cruise port and take us to Ft Lauderdale Airport. I followed their instructions and called them when we were going through Customs. I called about 9:20. They said they would call me and tell me where to meet them. They NEVER called. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I called again to inform them that no one called to confirm that they were on their way. I was told there was a lot of traffic, if we were trying to catch a flight we should get another ride. Well good thing we had a late flight, so I said we would wait. No one ever called or came! I called them again and he told me I told you it would take awhile. We had been waiting 40 minutes. Another couple, without a ride, who called an Uber after we had been waiting 40 minutes was picked up before us No one from SAS ever called, never came. At 11 o'clock we finally got a ride, which cost more, with another shuttle service which just happen to show up. The only good thing is we hadn't paid up front, but maybe thst's why they left us high and dry. read more
