I've been going here for years. At 4 or 5 I started getting my haircuts there and my mom and grandma have been getting their nails done there. Now that I'm older, I get my nails done every so often and I love it. The ladies have always been nice, clean, and friendly. The atmosphere is pretty nice as well. Carrie is a balayage expert! I came into the salon with black hair, and left with beautiful golden pieces throughout. I love Krystelle! I used to go to her in Pleasant Hill at The Ritz and I'm so happy she's closer to home. Every time I see her I tell her "I want blonde" or "I want a darker color but no dark brown or black" I feel like I never make sense when I'm telling her what I want but somehow she knows exactly what I want. Carrie is awesome!!! She really works wonders with her hands. So I originally went in for some highlights but got some non damaging hair extensions instead (tape ins) LOVE!!! I usually use the bulky clip ins but these are so much better , the quality of the hair is amazing ! They were placed so discreetly even my family thought it was mine, and she added beautiful highlights without bleaching my hair!!! needless to say I left Sashays feeling like a million bucks thanks to her. This was my first time at Sa'Shays in Pinole. I have very long, very thick hair. I was nervous, but excited to get an ombré look for my hair. Prior to my visit, I had all natural black hair. I am VERY happy with my results. The process took about 3 hours, but Sherry was incredible. She was kind, patient, and cared about how my hair would turn out. I highly recommend Sherry to anyone. This is the only place I trust with my hair. Sherry has done my hair three times for the three proms I went to, everyone of those times, I was impressed. She's truely an expert at her work. I've also never recieved a hair cut I didn't like. The store it's self is very clean. I've seen wokers clean their station throughly between clinets and before they leave to go home. I went to this salon to see Carrie. I read the great reviews here on yelp and decided to try her out. I texted her for an appointment and she got back to me quickly. We talked about what I was looking for in my hair and she listened to me very attentively. When I finally met Carrie she was absolutely wonderful! She really took the time to explain everything and give me great suggestions on what to do with my hair. My hair has been damaged for endless years of going blonde with highlights, and sadly it might be time for me to go back to my natural dark hair. I got a weave at another salon for a wedding I'm attending in Nashville this month. Paid so much money for the weave and to get it put in. The lady there made the weave look very unnatural and noticeable. I spoke with Carrie at this salon over the phone, she told me to come in and she will do what she can to fix it. She helped me so much and was very kind and humble. Made the weave look 100x better and showed me how to style it myself also. She even went out of her way to call a makeup artist in Nashville and explained to her my situation, to fix my makeup add color to my complexion and contour around the edges to make the weave look more natural. Carrie is amazing. Today she put "tape in" extensions in my hair. I absolutely love them. A you can see by the picture you can't even tell I didn't grow it myself! I have been to a lot of stylist in my life and she ranks at the top. She is so through and meticulous at what she does. My highlights were very grown out and over done due to years of having them done. She did them with a different process and made them much more natural. And the extensions... oh wow! They look and feel amazing. I can't wait to show them off. She was in no rush and made me feel so valued as a client. She asked my input the whole time. And not to mention she is a complete doll! I had my second color appointment last night with Carrie Frazer and I have to say I am beyond thrilled! I had been coloring my hair myself for awhile, I was going to a salon in the city before but it's just to difficult to get there as much as needed.
