The women here are amazing! Sandy the owner is such a hard worker and proud business owner and Anna has been doing amazing things with my nails for a couple years now. She pays super close attention to the details and is a true artist. She has been able to recreate every picture I've ever taken her and frequently see her with a nail or two of her own with a new creation she's testing out. You can tell she takes great pride in her work and truly cares about her customers. They are always able to get me in on short notice when I forget to make an appointment ahead of time, and their prices are super reasonable. Their pedicures are so die for too. The Royal pedicure is definitely worth the splurge! Even their standard pedicure makes me feel so pampered. They don't have the traditional chairs/foot rubs, so they have you sit back in a super comfy lazy boy and bring out a big bowl of water with lemon slices and sometimes flower pedals They are also super clean and always making improvements to the shop and their services. All of the women there are so nice and will always engage in conversation if you start talking to them. They also don't take offense when you want some quiet time or need to get some work done. Love my go-to nail salon super close to my house! The ladies here really know how to do nails and pamper you, especially with those awesome pedicures (try the deluxe- it comes with a foot mask for that extra pamper feel.) Place is clean and the vibe is chill. They have recliner chairs and they soak your feet in lemon rose petal warm water for the pedicures, which includes nail trimming, cuticle cleaning, sugar scrub, massage including hot stones, and perfectly painted nails. Highly recommend to call in advance for their availability as they can get busy but I've had some successful walk-ins. Prices are good and make sure to tip well- they deserve it! read more

Hidden gem right here! Walk-ins welcome but appointments are always a good call. We called day of and they had spots readily available for us! Of course, it's not too busy during a Monday either. I opted for a pedicure, haven't gotten one in years and was so glad I went! Chairs are super comfy, they're not the massage ones but still great to sit in. They do offer messages if you're trying to have a full spa day here! Started off with a very nice soak, wasn't expecting the fruits in the water but it was such a fun touch! Haven't been here in years but I have been looking for a nailshop home and I think I found it ! MISS HOLLY is amazing ! She did my mani and eyebrow wax. Nails : I haven't had anything done to them in three weeks and she could tell but she took her time was gentle and passionate about her craft. Not sure why this spot has such good ratings; maybe got the wrong worker, but I think shes the owner. Paid for Special Pedicure and hot stone massage was rough, not relaxing. One of the workers took break in chair next to me and was playing Asian show on her phone for over an hour while I was trying to relax(use headphones dude!) Did hot wax and polish did not stay on afterwards "due to wax".?? So polish was removed and she asked me to come back to do re polish again later! Go back?? No thanks after wasting $50. !! read more

The manicurist are very nice and friendly. They always accommodate me and my daughter when we decide to get our nails done last minute.

My first time here and I scheduled a pedicure and full set. My pedicure was great and the woman doing it was very kind and gentle. When it came to my full set, I was a bit annoyed. The girl doing my nails, was young, rough, chatty. And I mean chatty as in she likes to talk crap about customers even when you're sitting right in front of you. She was so rough and aggressive when she filed my nails down she cut my finger when she slipped... she cut me with a hand file. She apologized but then blames it on the fact that I have thin skin. I liked my nails but I hate her attitude. When it was my sisters turn, she straight up said "her hands are ugly" in Vietnamese and laughed about it to her co workers. My sister suffers from extreme eczema btw. I appreciate the owner and co worker for not engaging in her rude behavior but honestly, speak up and train your employee to have more class. My sister at the end, thanked them I'm Vietnamese and the rude lil girl wasn't even fazed. If you're reading this, please learn that not every Vietnamese person looks one certain way. And sometimes you don't have to be Vietnamese to learn and understand the language. I would not recommend anyone here. Also they do not follow sanitary practices. They do not sanitize tools between clients and they reused nail files until they're dull. read more

I'm so torn writing this review. If I had written this review initially, following my first experience at Fresh, this rating would have been 5 stars. Tina, the technician who performed my Royal pedicure, did such an AMAZING job. There was no rough skin remaining, zero dry patches, even and clean nail cuts, cuticle beds meticulously cleaned and the massage... OMG!!! THE MASSAGE ALONE was worth the price I paid for the upgraded gel pedicure experience. At first I was disappointed I had not done more research to realize Fresh does not offer massage chairs, but once Tina starting her pampering that disappointment was immediately replaced with sheer bliss. Tina's massage was deep, and thorough, and relaxing, and liberating, and just oh so heavenly! Tina is the reason I decided to return to Fresh when it was time for pedicure maintainence. The problem with this is I failed to ask for her name at the end of our appointment and had to describe to the owner who I wanted to make an appointment with. Unfortunately, neither the owner or I picked the right (same) person from my first visit. The owner's mom performed my pedicure the second visit and boy was I disheartened by the contrast in service. She was extremely friendly, my nails were neatly polished, filed meticulously and cuticles clean. The massage was lack luster, almost nonexistent and left so much to be desired, especially in comparison to my initial visit. I had dry patches and rough skin on the bottom of my feet. My second experience was horrendous to say the least, especially considering what I paid versus what I received. If I had taken the time to get the name of the first technician I would have avoided this experience. Upon departure, I ran into the person who performed my initial pedicure, asked her her name and have booked a third pedicure with her. Fingers crossed I get the same experience I did the first time at Fresh. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR THE NAME OF THE TECHNICIAN AT FRESH IF YOU LOVE YOUR EXPERIENCE, otherwise you may wind up wasting money because the standard of service offered her is not consistent at all! read more

I called them early Saturday morning and spoke with a lady named Sandy. I needed a pedicure because the ingrown was a bit deep. She said that if I come in right now she can do it and she would be gentle, I explained that I'm diabetic and if she would do my pedicure to pls be gently pulling the skin/cutting the nails. She said come in now because no one else in the salon knows how to do it and she would make sure to take care of me and be very gentle. I came in and introduced myself, as soon as I came in they started speaking in their language. I always find it rude because even though I'm not sure if you are talking about your clients, pls be very courteous that I don't understand your language. I ignored since I was there already. Sandy cut the nails short as I requested. However, when it came to cleaning the sides of the ingrown and removing excess skin she was pulling it and was not very gentle, two of my toes bled just a bit and it was sprayed with alcohol. During the duration of the pedicure they still continued to talk in their language and one of the employees that was doing the client's mail next to me was slightly staring at me. I didn't say anything, I just sat and got my pedicure even though I felt uneasy. When the pedicure ended, she told me next time come in here during the weekday and not the weekends coz I'm busy. I said, okay thank you. My question is, how do you know my schedule on the weekdays? What if the weekend is only my days off as well? When the pedicure is done I paid and still tipped her very well because it was services provided. However, I came home and that evening my toe that she pulled the skin roughly was now swelling and in pain. My second toe on my right foot is now infected! Sandy made sure to be gentle and that's not what happened here, are your tools, foot soak, equipments sanitized before using on other clients? Suggestions for your salon: 1.) Please provide the utmost respect and courtesy to your clients. If you don't want to provide service to them, kindly ask them to leave. Please don't talk about them to your co-workers, it's very unprofessional, rude, discriminatory and just shows lack of customer service. 2.) Please make sure your tools/equipments, and foot soaks are sanitized and disinfected properly. 3.) Don't tell your clients what's convenient for your time and not theirs. If the client had time during the weekday (when it was more convenient for them) don't you think they would make an appt for the weekday instead of weekends? Your salon is nice but lacks customer service, ethics, and proper sanitizing protocol. Update: The owner responded quickly to my review, greatly appreciated. I was asked to come back so she can look at it. However, I will never return to your salon. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow because they will be prescribing me antibiotics. Just for the record I did tell you that it hurt a bit when you pulled the skin, you were not gentle as you said. Because it wouldn't have bled and gotten infected if you were gentle. read more

Came here for the first time to try out some new nail salons in the area. I initially called to try to book the Royal Pedicure that everyone raves about, however, I did call too late and they did not have enough time/staff to do it (it's 1-hour in length). I ended up booking a regular gel pedicure around 3:00PM for a 5:45PM appointment. Not bad considering this is a pretty popular joint! I came in and it was really mellow, you can tell the day was starting to wind down, which was relaxing because I just wanted to quietly get treated after a long shift at work. It was pretty good considering that it was suppose to be a "regular" pedicure! It included a brief massage as well as a sugar scrub. I even chose a new color for myself (I rarely get anything besides flesh tones or white tips, but I was feeling adventurous lol), which ended up looking really nice with my skin tone! (The color number is 173 if anyone is wondering). It came out to a total of $35.00. Regular pedicure for $25.00 and $10.00 for gel. I'm hoping to try the royal pedicure soon enough! read more

Came here on a whim and really needed my nails done for cousins wedding. I called the salon and Sandy picked up and offered to fit me at 12. I showed up and was greeted instantly. She asked me to pick out a color but I've already had decided to do a french dip. She got started abs we had a small conversation. I noticed that there was a female that looks like one of my old high school class mates. It was her we had a conversation about this shop and she said that she's been coming here for years. Came here after my last visit years ago. Not much has changed, but there is a new owner. Staff is quiet & is very work oriented. My pedicure was good & the fresh fruits in the water added a nice touch. There was a lining placed in the water tub too, which I appreciated. Prices are fair, service was satisfactory. The lady who was doing my nails didn't say much and she wasn't very gentle. She made one of my fingers bleed and some others are tender and pink. My first time here in this place, came with my daughter for a "mother-daughter spa day and they really did a great job! Cindy did my dip powder and told her I had a bad experience from the other salon from being harsh on my nail and she really listened and very gentle. She asked me wvwry once in a while to make sure Im comfortable. Holly was also very sweet with my daughter and my daughter seem like so relaxed while getting hers. They listen to you and not in rush with their work. I highly recommend their Royal Pedicure Spa! Literally had one of the best pedicures of my life. I hate to publicly say this but I had an ingrown toenail I tried to get out myself. I've been so busy I haven't had regular pedicures, and that's why it was so fierce. I couldn't do it and inflamed the area making it slightly worse.... that's when I decided no matter how exhausted or busy I am, I need to regularly make time for happy feet. I didn't catch the name of the person that did my pedicure but she was great. Really took her time and effort in making sure I had a good experience. My polish job came out really nice too. I knocked them down one star because I came in for a pedicure and she didn't give me a choice of which one. When she dumped the water she was like what color and I had to then say... oh can I get paraffin wax too? I thought after the basic steps were taken she would offer additional services or we could wrap things up. Also, there is no description posted anywhere for the different pedicures you can get. Another reason why it was a star knock off and I struggle with not taking off another one is because a sanitation issue. I can't for sure say whether their items were sanitized or not but she had the tools in a sanitize bag but it was already open with other items in there. Don't fake it like you're going to give me clean items. Clean them in front of me and get rid of the bag OR open the bag in front of your guests. Again, I can't say whether they were in fact clean or not but time will tell if I get a toe infection. I will be back though. All in all, a great experience read more

The only reason that I'm not rating it 5 stars is the quality of their paint is average instead of good. Ugh...I really didn't want to do this...but I have to revise my review. I have seen other regulars mention their recent disappointment, and unfortunately, I am now disappointed too. Jenny still does great work, great attention to detail, everything. No complaints about Jenny's excellent work. The complaint is regarding the rest of the experience, specifically how it is ruined by one employee. This employee is eating something loud and crunchy every time I visit Fresh. Last year, she was pregnant, so I didn't think twice. Pregnant ladies gotta eat. But now, it's just unprofessional to plop yourself in a pedicure chair, loudly crunch on your potato chips, and to top it off, watch some very loud movie with a lot of Vietnamese screaming on her phone. I actually turned the volume on my phone down so my game wouldn't annoy other clients, and instead this employee is disrupting what should be a calm serene experience with crunches (her chips) and screams (her show on her phone). I'm so sad. I loved this place when it was Vivianne and Jenny. I never see Vivianne in there anymore...not sure she still owns the place? Anyway, the work is good, if you get Jenny. I usually get my acrylic full set done in the city for $20 and then $8 including pedi. So it's a bit pricey for me. The work done was beautiful though I must say. Nails: I get acrylics done pretty often and of all the places around hercules area fresh salon's nails lasted me the longest. The older woman jenny, She always does my nails and they're always on point!! I love how she shapes my nails and she's very gentle. Im not too comfortable w/ people touching my fingers or toes or eyes and all other salons I've been to I have to flinch a couple of times because they're filing too hard or buff too much of my cuticles. Not with fresh salon!! And no stinging feeling on my nails afterwards either. You can't beat the price here either, I think I paid only 25 before tip? Amazing prices for the quality! Pedicure: Highly recommend the coconut milk pedicure. Sooooo relaxing and luxurious!! I know some people are used to those automatic fancy jet bubble machines but I personally like the tub because it just shows that they actually change the water and its clean lol. My feet always feel super soft and supple afterwards!! Plus Jenny gives the best massages. Lash extensions: Never had lash extensions done but since I'm seeing it everywhere on social media I was like why not. Vivian did my lashes and she did an amazing job, she is such a sweet person!! I told her I wanted length but still natural and less fake looking lashes as much as possible lol. They came out perfect, super wispy & natural! The process took about 1 hr 30 min. I'm obsessed lol, she was right I definitely will be addicted to these!! Oh and I also got a complimentary eyebrow wax whaaaaa, can't beat that. Overall you will not be disappointed in their services. This is a small business and all the associates take their time to tend and care to every customer. There is no awkward waiting in the front door or rushed feeling like other salons. You really feel relaxed right when you walk in.
