Hubs loved his latte, and my dark roast was deliciously rich. They must grind their beans, because the flavor was so satisfying. After we finished, Hubs ordered a strawberry and Nutella crepe. Our counter guy was helpful and friendly. They have quick service, too. The inside is cozy, and they have plenty of outside seating. Located across from the Bar Harbor airport with plenty of parking available in their lot. It's a smart location for those going to or leaving Bar Harbor. Thankfully we had eaten breakfast already so we did not need to browse and decide for too long. It gives us another reason to return though to give the food a try. I get that we are in Bar Harbor or close to Bar Harbor and Bar Harbor is bougie. I regret my avoidance of the island in the summer months so, so much now This place is a gem! They have a wonderful selection of unique foods, most of them with clean ingredients. They make all their breads in house and offer a variety of breads, baguettes, bagels, not to mention the freshly baked pastries and sweets! My friend & I went in and were greeted warmly. The cashier struck up a conversation with us & was so kind. She overheard us talking about our daughters and told us we were so calm and laid back moms. The best compliment ever. We felt so hip I grabbed a steak baguette sandwich and the bread was phenomenal, as was the steak. The pastries were delicious, and our friend the cashier gave us a cookie on the house. SO nice.
