I was really hoping for BANANA AND....STRAWBERRY!! since that is what it says on the menu. Could I taste any strawberries? Hell no! LOL! I swear they charge you $10 for a few bananas they blend up with like 2 tiny strawberries. They do have to have the pink color in there to make you think you are getting what you ordered....because why would you want what the menu says?? Crazy thought, huh? hahahah! The smoothie was gross. Yes, bananas are good for you, they are good in a shake, but just a shake that tastes like....all banana...nah, not for me. For me, thats gross. So just keep that in mind. I get it...we are at a coffee spot that's a quick stop before you go into the park and do a ton of walking for the day, hiking, walking along the beaches in the park. However, I mean...just make what is on the menu since ya'll love to rob the tourists. Just seems unfair to me is all. Did I go back? Nnnnnope. We drove by this place every day too while in the area and on our way to the park. Just skip right on by this place and drive into Bar Harbor. Many more places to choose from AND....GET THIS!!! They make you...exactly what you order!!! So crazy! You can also find many places in town that aren't crazy overpriced despite being restaurants etc that are targeted towards the massive amounts of tourists who visit this beautiful area....what I am assuming is...all year round. They're absolutely delicious when still warm and fresh out of the oven and they bake them pretty much all day, so they're just about always fresh. One of my favorite ways to enjoy them over the years was to get the maple butter and blueberry jam and mix the two. The flavors of the butter, maple and blueberry all complimented the savory flavor of the popover. However, this year I was disappointed to see that they no longer are offering the maple butter, even for an upcharge. Please bring this back, it really took the popovers to another level! Maybe whip it into thawed butter instead of hand mixing it to make it easier? The whipped butter is easier to dip in and spread anyway. The new pre-packaged / mass produced butter packs take away from the appeal of a freshly-made popover. Sometimes in the morning it can be a little crowded in here with people waiting for their coffee / drinks to be made by a counter not far from where you place your order, so if you're walking in and haven't ordered yet then check if the people standing around are just waiting on coffee or waiting to order. It would be a nice improvement to see some separation (maybe with some ropes or floor markings) to make it more clear who is in line to order and who is waiting for their beverage to be made. It's worth noting it's takeout only and there's nowhere inside to sit, but there are some benches just outside on the sidewalk where you can have your popover and coffee.

The cheese probably should be melted at least. Blueberry pancake looked kind of lacking from the outside but once we got into it there was quite a bit of blue berry mixed in the batter. They were good with some butter and maple syrup. Service was ok they were busy but seemed to be bit hectic and disorganized. Overall, it's a ok breakfast spot. Not particularly better than typical breakfast restaurant. I suppose the name everyday joe's fitting for this restaurant.
