So you know what that means, right? Thats means...TONS of tourists which in turn means....YET ANOTHER place that can charge a ton for basic...and I mean BASIC a$$ food and drinks lol. I get that we are in Bar Harbor or close to Bar Harbor and Bar Harbor is bougie. However, this place is like 20 mins from town....and the food and drinks aint even all that..so there is NO need at all to be charging what they do. Cool views across the street tho. So I bought a muffin and it was decent. Was it the best? Nope. I also got the banana/strawberry smoothie. It was expensive. I was really hoping for BANANA AND....STRAWBERRY!! since that is what it says on the menu. Could I taste any strawberries? Hell no! LOL! I swear they charge you $10 for a few bananas they blend up with like 2 tiny strawberries. They do have to have the pink color in there to make you think you are getting what you ordered....because why would you want what the menu says?? Crazy thought, huh? hahahah! The smoothie was gross. Yes, bananas are good for you, they are good in a shake, but just a shake that tastes like....all banana...nah, not for me. For me, thats gross. So just keep that in mind. I get it...we are at a coffee spot that's a quick stop before you go into the park and do a ton of walking for the day, hiking, walking along the beaches in the park. However, I mean...just make what is on the menu since ya'll love to rob the tourists. Just seems unfair to me is all. Did I go back? Nnnnnope. We drove by this place every day too while in the area and on our way to the park. Just skip right on by this place and drive into Bar Harbor. Many more places to choose from AND....GET THIS!!! They make you...exactly what you order!!! So crazy! You can also find many places in town that aren't crazy overpriced despite being restaurants etc that are targeted towards the massive amounts of tourists who visit this beautiful area....what I am assuming is...all year round. I will absolutely return to this area. Bar Harbor....MAINE! is a whole other world! It's like nothing I have experienced before. It's definitely one of Americas best kept secrets. However, when I do return....I will just skip on by Acadia Coffee House. Sorry to the employees...kind of. You all were nice, but its just shady that you made me a banana smoothie when I ordered the banana/strawberry and charged me $10 ...FOR BANANAS!!! Located across from the Bar Harbor airport with plenty of parking available in their lot. It's a smart location for those going to or leaving Bar Harbor. Once inside you are greeted with many local made goodies and Maine themed items before you even reach the counter to order. Looking up the large menu greets your eyes to their vast amount of options. Thankfully we had eaten breakfast already so we did not need to browse and decide for too long. It gives us another reason to return though to give the food a try. They appeared to offer all the drinks you would expect a coffee spot to including a smaller selection of monthly specials. These specials usually are what my wife and I go for due to their uniqueness. Which speaking of flavors they may have had the largest selection of flavored syrups I have seen before. I ended up getting their Teddy Graham Iced Latte while my wife got the Peeps Cold Brew. Size wise we both got large and I will say they are not lying by calling their size a large, they are massive. Will keep that in mind if we return. Seating wise they appeared to have some cozy looking booths that looked to be spots some people were working from home. Then a couple tables and then some stools as well. A great coffee stop that was unplanned but would plan a return visit!

Inside, you are greeted by a warm rustic interior, lots of Maine goodies for sale, and plenty of seating. For their food menu, they have many burrito flavors, with a decent portion size and several vegan ones which was quite nice. I got the Mayan Pilot ($16) which had jackfruit and tasted pretty good, very good if you're hungry. I'd definitely go again if I'm in the area!

The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and relaxing, with friendly service that made us feel at home every time we walked in. Clark Point Cafe became one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Acadia's quiet side!

It's been a while. I figured there would be new, and hopefully friendlier, staff. I was half right. There was new staff, but unfortunately, they were as unwelcoming as the last batch. This place has no prices on any of the premade sandwiches or pastries in their cases (why??), so we asked "Hey there, how much are your pies and cookies?". The employee was in the lobby sweeping and said "I'm not sure. Somewhere between $3- $5. Maybe more". She doesn't look up. Doesn't offer more clarity. She just shrugged this non-answer to us and carried on. It was awkward. So my husband, trying to make light of it, says "Sounds like it's up for debate so how about I give you $2.50" and this girl gives us a dour look and snaps "Well, I'm not behind the cash register so I can't look at the prices, can I?". So, we have now learned our lesson with this place twice. Not sure what it is about the culture there that results in such bad service years apart and by different people. We won't be returning.

It was so good that we ended visiting it twice during our stay. We tried Hunter pizza, Harvest pizza, asparagus and oysters.All of these were delicious. They have their own in house dip that comes with their pizzas which is amazing. The drinks were good too. It is a stunning location. Owners and staff are courteous and professional. Service: horrendous - server is on her AirPods taking a call. Extremely short and her voice trails off when she talks so you can't hear what she said. Anytime I asked for something - she just pointed somewhere for me to grab it. Saw two other customers come in and try to ask questions about lunch menu at 11:23am and she brushed them off. One of them couldn't believe how rude she was and as he was walking away she said, "I'm not taking any of that today."
