Clark Point Cafe is amazing!! Food was excellent! There were 4 of us. We had the traditional breakfast. Excellent. Potatoes were perfect. Also had grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Simple but amazing. Elevated is an understatement. 3rd up was grilled cheese with bacon and cheddar. Again amazing. Last was the Shakshuka. Absolutely wonderful. When we first came in, we were a little nervous because seating is only available after you put your order in so it's a bit of a roulette as to what table you're going to get or if you're going to like it. Atmosphere, the ambience was perfect for a breakfast place. It had the right vibe. On a sign when you first came in it says trust the process. And the process just works by the time you are ready to order and paid a table has vacated and you go and sit down. It just works. Overall, I don't think we could've had a better experience. This is truly one of the best breakfast places I've ever been to. So good I forewent my plans to try any other breakfast place near Acadia to come here twice instead. Genuinely the best food I had during my trip. Stand outs include the Turkish eggs (soooo flavorful), Dutch baby (the Dutch baby was good but it was the blueberry jam that really elevated it, getting it with the blueberries is a must), and sticky bun (absolutely stellar!). I also highly recommend the eggs Benedict (they do their poached egg dishes very well here) and the tomato feta pastry. Clark point cafe is a busy restaurant. When we arrived the line was all the way outside, but we didn't let that discourage us. The ordering/ seating arrangement is kind of like a roulette. The place inside is small and as tables open you are allowed to order like 1:1 ratio. We ordered "Dutch baby pancakes, classic" and a breakfast sandwich which included: fried egg(egg was a bit runny which I like, so if you are not a fan make sure to say that), bacon, cheddar, and an everything bagel (they have a sesame one as well) and last but not least a hot chocolate muffin. The pancake tasted a bit raw, but the cook mentioned its because they mix it with an egg so that's the way it's suppose to taste. The bagel sandwich was absolutely delicious as well as their chocolate muffin! The service here is amazing. They are quick and very nice. Would definitely come here again! read more

This was my second time visiting & I ended up ordering even more than the first. I originally planned to try a new spot, but nothing else was open around that time so I came back here, and I'm glad I did. I started with two toasted bagels with cream cheese. They were fine, not the freshest bagels I've had, but they had a good amount of cream cheese, just okay overall. The croissant was large and nicely toasted, likely not baked in-house (gave off Costco croissant vibes), but it came with a really tasty berry spread. The blueberry scone, however, wasn't great. Not a fan of the texture or flavor on that one. For coffee, I tried the dirty chai and a regular drip coffee, both solid and satisfying. But the real showstopper was the lavender latte. I'm obsessed. It was fragrant, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Easily my favorite part of the visit. I also had the BLT sandwich and the smoked salmon tartine. Both were delicious. You could tell the same ingredients (pickles, veggies, capers) were used across multiple items, but it still worked well and tasted fresh. Lastly, I ordered the Dutch baby pancake. The presentation was lovely, and it was freshly made, but the flavor was just okay, I've had better. The overall experience was really fun. This cafe on the quiet side of the island offers freshly made hot breakfast as well as pastries and a substantial freezer section. I don't really go for the egg breakfasts, so my savory options were limited. However, the sweet side of things suited my tastes. When I ordered a Dutch baby oven pancake, they asked if I wanted it plain, which I was a tad insulted by. Who goes to Maine and doesn't get the blueberries? The blueberries were not fresh but instead came preserved in syrupy form with some other fruit and maple syrup on the side. This excess of flavor was a fine vacation indulgence for me. Absolutely delicious iced latte! One of the best that I had during my trip and in recent memory.

Came in to grab a quick coffee on our way out of Southwest Harbor toward a hike a few minutes away. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they had a cortado on their board of espresso drinks and more pleasantly surprised by the fact that it was light, bitter, and clean with hints of dry cocoa. The only complaint was that the line was a bit long and we had to wait both to order and to get the drinks. The food looked good going by as we stood there. We might try to sit down at of the cute, slightly cramped tables on another visit. read more

The latte was one of the best I've ever had. The decor was so pretty and the place had such a great vibe. I highly recommend you stop in for breakfast. I loved the blueberry Dutch baby pancake which was light and fluffy and reminded me of a popover. There was a good amount of blueberry syrup and caramelized syrup to add to the pancake. Quaint spot that was thankfully open on a Sunday. My mom and I loved the French toast. My husband loved his Turkish eggs and I thought the bite I had of his was super flavorful. Even though it was busy, the employees were on top of their game and very accommodating for our group of 4 when there was limited seating. I recommend you come during the week and early if you can! This place gets crowded and sells out of items during the busy season. For the quiet side, this place is not quiet. You can find yourself waiting on a long line during peak hours (and be warned, you won't know the actual wait time until you get through the whole line and place your order at the counter). When you arrive, you get in line and wait to order. Once you order they seat you and give you an estimated wait time. They have some quick to go options if you can not wait. The staff was very friendly, and very apologetic for our long wait, giving us some cookies to say sorry. The food was delicious and fresh. Very expensive, which is typical of the area. read more

Really enjoyed coming here with my family during my stay in ME. I was lucky enough to try lots of different items. The Vegetarian Benedict was delicious. I enjoyed the mushrooms and asparagus spears. I also like the breakfast sandwich. I chose to have the sesame bagel option with cheddar, egg over hard and avocado instead of meat. Delicious. You can also get it on an English muffin instead. The pastries I tried while I was in town were: Blueberry and lemon danish- which was amazing tangy with lemon but still allowed you to taste the sweet blueberries. Cheese danish- mouthwatering and flavorful. Banana pudding- delicious, creamy, and worth the calories. I ate the entire cup by myself. Banana cake- one of the best cakes I have had in a long time. Went to this quaint spot for two breakfasts in a row!! First time, we had the Turkish Eggs which were delectable and probably the best Turkish Eggs I have had to date. We also had the mini fruit tart and Blueberry Bagel with Plain Cream cheese which were both great. Special shout out for the salad that accompanied the bagel; it was a simple Mediterranean style salad that was scrumptious. Second time, we tried the Shakshuka (highly recommend!) and Veggie Eggs Benedict, which were good. The servers were kind and welcoming. The cappuccino was great, too! But the food here was SO good- everything we had the 4 mornings in a row that we ate there was fantastic!
