There is nothing like feeling beautiful on your wedding day! And I did--thanks to Raycne! From the number of selfies my wedding party took of themselves, I gather they also felt beautiful...lol. Racyne came highly recommended by my wedding planner. Her pricing was also very reasonable and slightly lower than others that I had researched. As of May 2016, her pricing was $150 plus tax for the bride's hair and airbrush makeup and fake eyelashes. She gives the bride a makeup touch up kit that is included in the price. I paid $75 to reserve the date. For the wedding party it was $110 plus for hair, makeup, and lashes. She covered up a tattoo on my shoulder for $50. Before my wedding day, she came over and did a hair and makeup trial. I don't remember the cost of the trial, but it was not exorbitant. She allocated two hours for the visit. I did not really know what I want, so she just did her thing, and it came out great. Racyne also came to my house twice and did a spray tan for only $55 to cover up some horrendous tan lines from playing tennis. One visit was a test run and the other was a couple of days before the wedding. My sister told everyone I got a spray tan before the rehearsal dinner, so everyone expected that I would be orange, but it looked really natural. Everyone was complimenting on how great it looked. On the day of my wedding, she came with two other makeup artists. They were very punctual and completed the hair and makeup for 7 people total. The makeup stayed on the whole night through all of the dancing and festivities. She allows you to pay credit card if you do so before the day of the wedding. Otherwise, make sure to have cash on hand. Racyne is funny and it is not at all uncomfortable being around her. You can tell that she really loves doing makeup. I love how she showcased the different colors of my hair. We talked extensively about how I wanted my makeup to look. She NAILED it! Natural yet enhanced. I met Racyne in Honolulu due to the fact that I was looking for someone to talk over my Airbrush Tanning business, Island Tan 2 Go Mobile Airbrush Tanning, because I was moving to California. I was very nervous to do this since it was my reputation on the line as to who was going to take over my clients. I received many resumes and there was no contest, Racyne was the only woman for the job. We spent a great deal of time together training for the anticipation of my departure and as an airbrush makeup artist, she picked it up easily and was a natural at spray tanning. Racyne arrived on time at 630 in the morning & didn't have a chance to stop for over two hours. She worked a miracle on my long, curly hair and somehow created a look I've loved forever. She even brought a gorgeous flower clip for my hair that smelled fantastic and perfectly enhances the tropical feel. Without her smart advance thinking my wedding would've been devoid of almost all flowers due to an enormous error by the incompetent planner. Normally I prefer to do my own makeup but considering I'd been getting tan & wasn't sure my products would match I asked for her help. Again, she did a great job. My friends & I love her & our grateful we followed her excellent advice on a few things. She even caught several last minute mistakes- leaving pool wrist band on, tags on skirts, rings on right side & certificate.... simple but easy to forget lifesavers. We left in a flurry w/o much chance to say goodbye. She even managed to stay cool & calm in spite of the looming timeline. When we got back she had left everything as it was originally, even tidied up. She's a reasonable price, friendly, reliable & knowledgable artist with tons of experience and class. wow i was really impressed with makeup artist racyne's work! i am asian with monolids (single eyelids) so usually when someone else does my makeup it comes out looking childish and not very obvious that i am even wearing makeup, but racyne did an excellent job! she was working at the dior counter and i just happened to catch her and had to make an appointment to come back later but it was well worth it! she was very nice and professional and started off by asking me what colors (from the various palettes that she had) did i like. i just told her something kinda neutral but not brown and i had to have black around my eyes for some definition. she gave me a brief introduction to the dior products she used (and believe me they were lovely! it made me interested in buying some in the future) like their toner, moisturizer and spray foundation; then she applied my eye makeup, blush and lipgloss - everything came out perfectly! my skin felt wonderful and so refreshed, and my makeup was flawless! i have never had a makeup artist do my eye makeup exactly how i wanted it but racyne is a pro! i would definitely have her do my makeup again and recommend her to anyone who needs a professionally made up look! she was so nice, she told me i could just call to schedule an appointment and we could work out the logistics and that she also does hair and spray tanning. sassarella is my new go-to gal! read more

I had a trial sesson for my wedding with Racyne at her house. I flew in from out of town so I was really scared about choosing the right artist. When I stepped in, I was very surprised with the amount of mess I saw and I kinda got scared. However, she seemed very nice and we got started right away. I told her I wasnt really picky and I just wanted to look nice and natural. I sat down on a chair in her living room and she started on my hair and makeup. I showed her a picture of what I wanted for an updo and it didnt look like the picture much but what got me was the makeup. She put purple eyeshadow on me and overall it looked wayyyyy too dark for a wedding. I looked like I was made up to go out to a club. I got a lil upset and told my fiance to cancel the booking. What I really didnt get was that I didnt get my 75 dollar deposit back which was supposed to go towards the wedding makeup if I decided to keep her....and I already paid another 75 for the trial session.....??? TRIAL SESSION MEANS TRIAL. If you dont want that person to do your makeup/hair then you move on! that made NO sense to me what so ever. Anyway, thanks to my sweet hubby, he calmed me down and I made a phone call to my best friend who saved the day (shes an awesome hairstylist/colorist). I had two days to find a makeup artist and I just didnt want to end up with another disaster on my hands so I ended up asking my best friend to apply my makeup too! We used my own favorite eyeshadows and spent hours at a freaken sephora trying to purchase hi-def foundation and finishing powder and the perfect shade of lipgloss. read more

I've used Racyne for Hair, Makeup and Spray Tan and she has always been so dependable - I've never left feeling unsatisfied! The spray tan set-up is incredible. She came to my house and in seconds, popped open the tent and floor cover (to protect my stuff from overspray) and started tanning!!
